  • Bose and Mitra obtained certain interesting tansformations of the generalized hypergeometric series by using some known summation formulas and employing suitable contour integrations in complex function theory. The authors aim at providing another transformation of the generalized hypergeometric series by making use of the technique as those of Bose and Mitra and a known summation formula, which Bose and Mitra did not use, for the Gaussian hypergeometric series.

  • The aim of the paper is to present several new relationships involving the hyperharmonic function introduced by Mez$\ddot{o}$ in (I. Mez$\ddot{o}$, Analytic extension of hyperharmonic numbers, Online J. Anal. Comb. 4, 2009) which is an analytic extension of the hyperharmonic numbers. These relations are obtained by using some fractional calculus theorems as Leibniz rules and Taylor like series expansions.

  • By using the improved Euler-Maclaurin summation formula and estimating the weight coefficients in this paper, a new dual Hardy-Hilbert's inequality and its reverse form are obtained, which are all with two pairs of conjugate exponents (p, q); (r, s) and a independent parameter ${\lambda}$. In addition, some equivalent forms of the inequalities are considered. We also prove that the constant factors in the new inequalities are all the best possible. As a particular case of our results, we obtain the reverse form of a famous Hardy-Hilbert's inequality.

  • The main object of this paper is to present a transformation formula for a finite series involving $_3F_2$ and some identities associated with the binomial coefficients by making use of the theory of Legendre polynomials $P_{n}$(x) and some summation theorems for hypergeometric functions $_pF_q$. Some integral formulas are also considered.

  • The theory of multiple Gamma functions was studied in about 1900 and has, recently, been revived in the study of determinants of Laplacians. There is a class of mathematical constants involved naturally in the multiple Gamma functions. Here we summarize those mathematical constants associated with the Gamma and multiple Gamma functions and will show how they are involved, if possible.

  • There have been provided a surprisingly large number of summation formulae for generalized hypergeometric functions and series incorporating a variety of elementary and special functions in their various combinations. In this paper, we aim to consider certain generalized hypergeometric function 3F2 with particular arguments, through which a number of summation formulas for p+1Fp(1) are provided. We then establish a power series whose coefficients are involved in generalized hypergeometric functions with unit argument. Also, we demonstrate that the generalized hypergeometric functions with unit argument mentioned before may be expressed in terms of Bell polynomials. Further, we explore several special instances of our primary identities, among numerous others, and raise a problem that naturally emerges throughout the course of this investigation.

  • In this paper, we obtain a (p, q)-extension of the Whittaker function $M_{k,{\mu}}(z)$ together with its integral representations, by using the extended confluent hypergeometric function of the first kind ${\Phi}_{p,q}(b;c;z)$ [recently extended by J. Choi]. Also, we give some of its main properties, namely the summation formula, a transformation formula, a Mellin transform, a differential formula and inequalities. In addition, our extension on Whittaker function finds interesting connection with the Laguerre polynomials.

  • By establishing a new summation formula for the series $_3F_2(\frac{1}{2})$, recently Rathie and Pogany have obtained an interesting result known as Kummer type II transformation for the generalized hypergeometric function $_2F_2$. Here we aim at deriving their result by using a very elementary method and presenting two elegant results for certain terminating series $_3F_2(2)$. Furthermore two interesting applications of our new results are demonstrated.
