  • When a large ship is advancing in waves, it undergoes hydroelastic response, which affects the structural stability and the fatigue destruction of the ship. Therefore, to predict an accurate hydroelastic response, it is necessary to conduct a thorough analysis of hydroelastic response, including fluid-structure interactions. In this research, the ship is divided into many hull elements, to calculate the fluid forces and wave exciting forces on each element. Using the three-dimensional source distribution method, the calculated fluid forces and wave exciting forces are assigned to nodes of the hull elements. The neighbor nodes are connected with elastic beam elements. We analyzed hydroelastic responses, using the finite elements method.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the demand for functional elements of sports climbing shirts. Questionnaire survey data were collected from adult (n=53) and adolescent (n=55) sports climbers. The questionnaire explored respondents' sports climbing activities and need for functional design features of sports climbing shirts. Their design preferences and purchasing value were also investigated. The results showed that respondents regarded ergonomic design and the use of intelligent material as important elements of expert-level sports climbing shirts. Compared to adolescent, adult respondents were more susceptive to functional design elements such as suitability for climbing motions and ease of dressing or undressing. Also, adult sports climbers were more likely than adolescents to prefer shirts that are tightly fit at the chest. Neither adults nor adolescents favored shirts design that is tightly fit at the neck or armpit. The regular shirts length not covering hips and sleeve length ending at the wrist were preferred. The collar stand should not hit the chin. Adult climbers preferred ergonomically designed sleeves on the back shoulder. Adults and adolescents had different preferences for the front neck zipper length. Adults preferred long front zipper length at chest. These findings suggest that sports climbing shirts should have functional features to prevent interference with climbing movements and improve convenience and stability.

  • The evolution of new digital technologies is progressing rapidly. In particular, many changes in software and artificial intelligence are progressing rapidly in the field of education. The Ministry of Education is planning an educational program by linking software and artificial intelligence regular curriculum. Before applying it to regular subjects, various software and artificial intelligence related experience camps are being promoted. This study aims to construct an educational model for software and artificial intelligence education programs for high school students based on new digital technology. By expanding and distributing software and artificial intelligence education, we aim to enhance the basic capabilities of software and artificial intelligence for high school students. I would like to define the concept of software and artificial intelligence in high school and propose a model that links software and artificial intelligence learning factors to the regular curriculum.

  • Topology may described a pattern of existence of elements of a given set X. The family ${\tau}(X)$ of all topologies given on a set X form a complete lattice. We will give some topologies on this lattice ${\tau}(X)$ using a topology on X and regard ${\tau}(X)$ a topological space. Our purpose of this study is to give new topologies on the family ${\tau}(X)$ of all topologies induced by old one and its ${\theta}$ topology and to compare them.

  • This study identifies elements involved in designing rehearsals for improving preservice teachers' capacity to teach mathematics. Observation of a secondary mathematics methods course and regular interviews with the teacher educator following each class were used in this research. After characterizing what is considered and enacted in rehearsals as a way to help preservice teachers practice the work of teaching mathematics, I illustrate them with examples from the observations and interviews. I then discuss the challenge of dual contexts-the teacher education classroom and the secondary mathematics classroom-and dual perspectives-the mathematical and pedagogical-in designing and enacting rehearsals. I conclude with implications for mathematics teacher education.

  • Considering a special double-cover Q of the symmetric group of degree 3, we show that a proper non-regular approximate symmetry occurs from its quasigroup homogeneous space. The weak compatibility of any two elements of Q is completely characterized in any such quasigroup homogeneous space of degree 4.

  • In this note we consider the right unit-duo ring property on the powers of elements, and introduce the concept of weakly right unit-duo ring. We investigate first the properties of weakly right unit-duo rings which are useful to the study of related studies. We observe next various kinds of relations and examples of weakly right unit-duo rings which do roles in ring theory.

  • In this paper, the design of decoder for R-S code using discrete finite-field Fourier transform is presented. An important ingredient of this design is a modified Euclid algorithm for computing the error-locator polynomial. The computation of inverse elements is completely avoided in this modification of Euclid algorithm. This decoder is regular and simple, and naturally suitable for VLSI implementation.

  • Topology may described a pattern of existence of elements of a given set X. The family ${\tau}(X)$ of all topologies given on a set X form a complete lattice. We will give some topologies on this lattice ${\tau}(X)$ using a fixed topology on X and we will regard ${\tau}(X)$ a topological space. Our purpose of this study is to comparison new topologies on the family ${\tau}(X)$ of all topologies induced old one.
