  • We focus on the structure of the set of noncentral idempotents whose role is similar to one of central idempotents. We introduce the concept of quasi-Abelian rings which unit-regular rings satisfy. We first observe that the class of quasi-Abelian rings is seated between Abelian and direct finiteness. It is proved that a regular ring is directly finite if and only if it is quasi-Abelian. It is also shown that quasi-Abelian property is not left-right symmetric, but left-right symmetric when a given ring has an involution. Quasi-Abelian property is shown to do not pass to polynomial rings, comparing with Abelian property passing to polynomial rings.

  • The RIP of rings was introduced by Kwak and Lee as a generalization of the one-sided idempotent-reflexivity property. In this study, we focus on rings in which all one-sided semicentral idempotents are central, and we refer to them as quasi-Abelian rings, extending the concept introduced by RIP. We establish that quasi-Abelianity extends to various types of rings, including polynomial rings, power series rings, Laurent series rings, matrices, and certain subrings of triangular matrix rings. Furthermore, we provide comprehensive proofs for several results that hold for RIP and are also satisfied by the quasi-Abelian property. Additionally, we investigate the structural properties of minimal non-Abelian quasi-Abelian rings.

  • We study the quasi-commutativity in relation with powers of coefficients of polynomials. In the procedure we introduce the concept of ${\pi}$-quasi-commutative ring as a generalization of quasi-commutative rings. We show first that every ${\pi}$-quasi-commutative ring is Abelian and that a locally finite Abelian ring is ${\pi}$-quasi-commutative. The role of these facts are essential to our study in this note. The structures of various sorts of ${\pi}$-quasi-commutative rings are investigated to answer the questions raised naturally in the process, in relation to the structure of Jacobson and nil radicals.

  • This article concerns a ring property which preserves the reversibility of elements at nonzero idempotents. A ring R shall be said to be quasi-reversible if $0{\neq}ab{\in}I(R)$ for a, $b{\in}R$ implies $ba{\in}I(R)$, where I(R) is the set of all idempotents in R. We investigate the quasi-reversibility of 2 by 2 full and upper triangular matrix rings over various kinds of reversible rings, concluding that the quasi-reversibility is a proper generalization of the reversibility. It is shown that the quasi-reversibility does not pass to polynomial rings. The structure of Abelian rings is also observed in relation with reversibility and quasi-reversibility.

  • A ring R is called (left principally) quasi-Baer if the left annihilator of every (principal) left ideal of R is generated by an idempotent. Let R be a ring, G be an ordered monoid acting on R by $\beta$ and R be G-compatible. It is shown that R is (left principally) quasi-Baer if and only if skew monoid ring $R_{\beta}[G]$ is (left principally) quasi-Baer. If G is an abelian monoid, then R is (left principally) quasi-Baer if and only if the Cohn-Jordan extension $A(R,\;\beta)$ is (left principally) quasi-Baer if and only if left Ore quotient ring $G^{-1}R_{\beta}[G]$ is (left principally) quasi-Baer.

  • If for every elements x and y of an associative algebraic structure (S, ${\cdot}$) there exists a positive integer r such that $ab=b^ra$, then S is called quasi-commutative. Evidently, every abelian group or commutative semigroup is quasi-commutative. Also every finite Hamiltonian group that may be considered as a semigroup, is quasi-commutative however, there are quasi-commutative semigroups which are non-group and non commutative. In this paper, we provide three finitely presented non-commutative semigroups which are quasi-commutative. These are the first given concrete examples of finite semigroups of this type.

  • This paper is motivated by the results in [2], [10], [13] and [19]. We study some properties of generalizations of commutative rings and relations between them. We also show that for a right quasi-duo right weakly ${\pi}-regular$ ring R, R is an (S,2)-ring if and only if every idempotent in R is a sum of two units in R, which gives a generalization of [2, Theorem 4] on right quasi-duo rings. Moreover we find a condition which is equivalent to the strongly ${\pi}-regularity$ of an abelian right quasi-duo ring.

  • This article concerns a property of Abelain π-regular rings. A ring R shall be called right quasi-DR if for every a ∈ R there exists n ≥ 1 such that C(R)an ⊆ aR, where C(R) means the monoid of regular elements in R. The relations between the right quasi-DR property and near ring theoretic properties are investigated. We next show that the class of right quasi-DR rings is quite large.

  • In this paper, using a fixed point approach, the generalized Hyeres-Ulam stability of the following quadratic functional equation $f(x+y+z)+f(x+{\sigma}(y))+f(y+{\sigma}(z))+f(x+{\sigma}(z))=3(f(x)+f(y)+f(z))$ will be studied, where f is a function from abelian group G into a quasi-${\beta}$-normed space and ${\sigma}$ is an involution on the group G. Next, we consider its pexiderized equation of the form $f(x+y+z)+f(x+{\sigma}(y))+f(y+{\sigma}(z))+f(x+{\sigma}(z))=g(x)+g(y)+g(z)$ and its generalized Hyeres-Ulam stability.

  • This article concerns the structure of idempotents in reversible and pseudo-reversible rings in relation with various sorts of ring extensions. It is known that a ring R is reversible if and only if $ab{\in}I(R)$ for $a,b{\in}R$ implies ab = ba; and a ring R shall be said to be pseudoreversible if $0{\neq}ab{\in}I(R)$ for $a,b{\in}R$ implies ab = ba, where I(R) is the set of all idempotents in R. Pseudo-reversible is seated between reversible and quasi-reversible. It is proved that the reversibility, pseudoreversibility, and quasi-reversibility are equivalent in Dorroh extensions and direct products. Dorroh extensions are also used to construct several sorts of rings which are necessary in the process.
