  • Let R be an associative ring with identity and M be a left R-module. In this paper, we define modules that have the property (δ-CE) ((δ-CEE)), these are modules that have a δ-supplement (ample δ-supplements) in every cofinite extension which are generalized version of modules that have the properties (CE) and (CEE) introduced in [6] and so a generalization of Zöschinger's modules with the properties (E) and (EE) given in [23]. We investigate various properties of these modules along with examples. In particular we prove these: (1) a module M has the property (δ-CEE) if and only if every submodule of M has the property (δ-CE); (2) direct summands of a module that has the property (δ-CE) also have the property (δ-CE); (3) each factor module of a module that has the property (δ-CE) also has the property (δ-CE) under a special condition; (4) every module with composition series has the property (δ-CE); (5) over a δ-V -ring a module M has the property (δ-CE) if and only if M is cofinitely injective; (6) a ring R is δ-semiperfect if and only if every left R-module has the property (δ-CE).

  • In this paper, we give the notion of the D-shadowing property, D-inverse shadowing property for dynamical systems. and investigate the density of D-shadowing dynamical systems and the D-inverse shadowing dynamical systems. Moreover we study some relationships between the D-shadowing property and other dynamical properties such as expansivity and topological stability.

  • The reflexive property for ideals was introduced by Mason and has important roles in noncommutative ring theory. In this note we study the structure of idempotents satisfying the reflexive property and introduce reflexive-idempotents-property (simply, RIP) as a generalization. It is proved that the RIP can go up to polynomial rings, power series rings, and Dorroh extensions. The structure of non-Abelian RIP rings of minimal order (with or without identity) is completely investigated.

  • In this paper, we study property (${\beta}$) and B-convexity in reflexive Banach spaces. It is shown that k-uniform convexity implies B-convexity and property (${\beta}$). We also show that there is a Banach space with property (${\beta}$) which cannot be equivalently renormed to be B-convex.

  • In this paper, we will propose the methodology of data analysis using the fuzzy property set model. In real world, the data can be represented with the object. $\theta$. and the property, $\pi$, and its has-property relation, P. Then, the conceptual space can be defined with the chosen properties. Each object has a unique location in the conceptual space. In Fuzzy mode, the fuzzy property, and fuzzy conceptual space can be redefined. To analyze data using the fuzzy property set model, the rough set need to be defined in the fuzzy conceptual space.

  • In this paper we show that if A ∈ L(X) and R ∈ L(X) is a quasinilpotent operator commuting with A then XA(F) = XA+R(F) for all subset F ⊆ ℂ and 𝜎loc(A) = 𝜎loc(A + R). Moreover, we show that A and A + R share many common local spectral properties such as SVEP, property (C), property (𝛿), property (𝛽) and decomposability. Finally, we show that quasisimility preserves local spectrum.

  • For a given number field K, we show that the ranks of elliptic curves over K are uniformly finitely bounded if and only if the weak Mordell-Weil property holds in all (some) ultrapowers $^*K$ of K. We introduce the nonstandard weak Mordell-Weil property for $^*K$ considering each Mordell-Weil group as $^*{\mathbb{Z}}$-module, where $^*{\mathbb{Z}}$ is an ultrapower of ${\mathbb{Z}}$, and we show that the nonstandard weak Mordell-Weil property is equivalent to the weak Mordell-Weil property in $^*K$. In a saturated nonstandard number field, there is a nonstandard ring of integers $^*{\mathbb{Z}}$, which is definable. We can consider definable abelian groups as $^*{\mathbb{Z}}$-modules so that the nonstandard weak Mordell-Weil property is well-defined, and we conclude that the nonstandard weak Mordell-Weil property and the weak Mordell-Weil property are equivalent. We have valuations induced from prime numbers in nonstandard rational number fields, and using these valuations, we identify two nonstandard rational numbers.

A Study on Analysis of KAIST Students' Perceptions of Intellectual Property and Start-ups and Educational Needs (과학기술특성화대학 재학생의 지식재산과 창업에 대한 인식과 교육요구도 분석 : KAIST 학부생을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze KAIST students' perceptions of intellectual property and start-ups and educational needs. In this study, literature research, interviews, and surveys were conducted, and 5 students participated in the interview, and 202 students participated in the survey. Students had similar perceptions of intellectual property and start-up education. KAIST students had very little experience in intellectual property and start-up-related education in middle, high schools and universities. In particular, most students highly recognized the importance of intellectual property and start-up education, but recognized that the importance was low in their career path. Therefore, students were also less willing to participate in intellectual property and start-up-related education in the future. Students demanded the highest education on 'patent management' in intellectual property-related competencies, and the highest demand for 'start-up idea derivation ability' in start-up-related competencies.

  • This paper is intended as a discussion of some generalizations of the notion of a reversible ring, which may be obtained by the restriction of the zero commutative property from the whole ring to some of its subsets. By the INCZ property we will mean the commutativity of idempotent elements of a ring with its nilpotent elements at zero, and by ICZ property we will mean the commutativity of idempotent elements of a ring at zero. We will prove that the INCZ property is equivalent to the abelianity even for nonunital rings. Thus the INCZ property implies the ICZ property. Under the assumption on the existence of unit, also the ICZ property implies the INCZ property. As we will see, in the case of nonunital rings, there are a few classes of rings separating the class of INCZ rings from the class of ICZ rings. We will prove that the classes of rings, that will be discussed in this note, are closed under extending to the rings of polynomials and formal power series.
