Regardless of the size, the role and meaning of the space required for human daily life are the same. Especially, as the spatial design is small and the size is small, the careful design and problem solving are needed to enable comfortable and convenient life even in a narrow space. The purpose of this study is to design a convergence model that utilizes the advantages of BIM, which can simulate actual design based on a new one-person housing space design plan optimized for one person. This study applied the BIM design technology to one-person housing 2D design, and the suitability examination and the space optimization design of the interior design were carried out. As a result of the study, utility of space improvement, consideration of housing environment, interference check, application of eco-friendly housing system, and MEP design item were derived. Therefore, BIM space design in interior space has been confirmed as a way to overcome limit and inefficiency of 2D design which is applied to actual space by various space design elements. Based on the results of this study, the One-person housing space model, which is applied to the study, is a pure creation designed based on various one-person housing of social and cultural peculiarities derived from previous research. This design example was applied to BIM technology to confirm the detailed and practical design possibility.
The purpose of this study is to provide implications for the demonstration and the spread of smart cities. For this, the European Lighthouse project, a well-known smart city initiative, is analyzed. This article investigates agendas, applied solutions, stakeholders and cooperation, and expansion strategies in the 18 Lighthouse projects implemented by the EIP-SCC Smart City Demonstration Project. Four implications are discussed for Korean smart city projects. First, in promoting smart cities, clear philosophies and principles should be established in response to global issues such as climate change. Second, smart cities should be understood as the approaches for problem-solving rather than simply applying advanced technology. Third, a business system should be established in a way to meet the needs of the actors participating in the smart city demonstration project. Finally, an evaluation framework should be established to verify the performance of the project. High-performing best-practice projects should be supported by articulating their standards for their lessons to be spread into other cities. The implications presented here can contribute to developing smart city models along with follow-up studies.
As the value of lifelong learning becomes important, states are making efforts to build a system of lifelong learning. According to this tendency, this paper intends to compare the participation rate of lifelong learning, learning outcomes, learning support infrastructure, support of learning expenses, and recognition of lifelong learning. For the comparative pedagogical approach, Bray and Thomas' cubes such as geographical / regional level, non - geographical demographic statistics, social and educational aspects were utilized. The participation rate of lifelong learning in Korea is 34.4% in 2017, which is lower than the OECD average of 46%. The competency scores of Korean adults were lower than the OECD national averages of the PIAAC survey which measured adult competence, language ability, numeracy, and computer-based problem solving ability. In order to recognize prior learning, EU countries have developed EQFs to evaluate all non-formal and informal learning outcomes, while Korea recognizes qualification as a credit banking credit under the academic credit banking system. International comparisons of lifelong learning can be used as an important tool for diagnosing the actual conditions of lifelong learning in a country and establishing future lifelong learning policies. Therefore, it is necessary to maintain that the comparative pedagogical approach of lifelong learning differs according to the historical context, socioeconomic characteristics, and population dynamics, including the formation process and characteristics of modern countries.

This research is aimed at identifying the perception associated with urban regeneration and predicting policy implications of future directions by analyzing the trend of urban regeneration depicted in the mass media by utilizing SNA (Semantic-Network Analysis) techniques. As the number of articles has increased, it is noted through analysis that the interrelationships between social phenomena and issues have combined to form the meaning of urban regeneration. Overall, 'urban' and 'regeneration' keywords also appeared at different periods, with 'urban' closely related to 'regeneration' starting in 1970 when urbanization was becoming more prevalent. It was analyzed that the frequency of 'urban' appeared more frequently in the early 1990s, while the frequency of 'rural' decreased sharply. Until the 1990s, the slums and the recession that appeared as side effects of urban problem-solving policies were mostly concentrated in cities. Policy discussions were conducted with the goal of improving the physical environment of cities rather than concentrating on the surrounding rural areas. The distributions of the keywords 'development' and 'regeneration' have increased quantitatively since the 1970s, and urban polarization has exploded due to the development of the external growth of cities, mirroring the trend of accelerated environmental threats. In particular, the keywords for 'regeneration' emerged mainly related to environmental problems, which led to the need for urban regeneration, and environmentally and ecologically friendly development. The emergence of "urban," "regeneration" and "environment" as keywords having to do with urban regeneration grew in the 1990s. This suggests that urban regeneration is now linked to "environment", as that has become a social issue.

The purpose of this study was to explore the impact of lifelong educators' core competencies as a mediating effect on adult learners' ability to function. The subject of this study was aimed at adult learners participating in lifelong education programs at lifelong educational institutions located in Gyeonggi Province. and was finally used for a total of 520 additional analyses. The main findings of this study are as follows: first, regarding the correlation between the core competence of lifelong educators and the life ability of adult learners, core competence has a static association with wisdom. In addition, wisdom has a high static association with life expectancy. Second, the core competence and wisdom of lifelong educators were found to have a significant static impact on adult learners' life abilities, accounting for 66.8%. Specifically, the most significant predictors of life's ability were creative problem solving, consideration for others, and acceptance of change, which were lower factors of wisdom. Third, the impact of a lifetime educator's core competence on adult learners is not significant. It was found that core competence has an indirect influence on life capacity through the mediating effect of wisdom, and that wisdom has directly interfaced the relationship between core competence and life ability. Taken together, these results proved that the core competence and wisdom of a lifelong educator are important variables for adult learner's life abilities. Based on this, the core competence of lifelong educators being taught in the field of lifelong education should be enhanced, and the ability of adult learners to utilize the wisdom that has been developed through the experiences of adult learners, to improve their life skills.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of learners' academic achievement and learner interaction through project - based learning. In the case of interaction, we focused on the field of learning, that is, the learner's communication style in various technical environments. The subjects of this study were 80 learners who took a 3-hour elective English language learning course at a university in Korea. This study is to investigate the effect of learner interaction through KakaoTalk and LMS (Learning Management System). As a result of the study, it was found that there was a significant difference between learner interaction by project - based learning and communication type and kakao talk utilization group and LMS (Learning Management System) group. 1) The results of the kakao talk utilization group were significant in both the learner interaction and the learner's academic achievement according to the project - based learning and communication type. For current digital native learners, Kakao Talk is the result of the fact that it is the optimal environment for problem solving, communication, and uploading and sharing of educational activities.

This study was conducted to develop a simulation-based education program for respiratory infectious disease and to identify the effects of clinical competency, self-leadership and critical thinking after applying to nursing students. A non-equivalent pre-post test of quasi-experimental design was used. The study subjects were 30 students for the experimental group and 30 for the control group. Respiratory infectious disease simulation-based education was provided for 5 weeks. Data analysis was performed using SPSS WIN Ver 21.0 with Fisher's exact test, independent t-test, and paired t-test. Clinical competency, self-leadership, and critical thinking of the experimental group showed statistically significant differences in comparison with the control group. These study results proved that a simulation-based education program for respiratory infectious disease is effective in raising nursing students' clinical competency, self-leadership and critical thinking. Therefore, it is considered that simulation-based education should be provided to cultivate nursing problem-solving clinical competency, self-leadership or critical thinking by developing a scenario based on various clinical situations.

As a case study, we analyzed the professor's teaching professionalism in college of science-engineering based on pedagogical content knowledge. Two professors from the college of science-engineering located in Chungcheongbuk-do participated in this study. After collecting their syllabi, we observed their classes and conducted semi-structured interview before and after the classes. Analysis were conducted on their syllabi, taped videos, field notes and transcripts of the interview. As a result, both professors' orientation to teaching was not only related to learning subject matter knowledge, but also developing job competencies or communication skills. Their orientations were transformed according to the educational situation. After establishing the final learning goals, the professors organized weekly plan by listing the topics. However, they were unaware that the goals of each topic should be presented in detail in the class. Also, one of them presented a lack of understanding of the students' prior knowledge and showed low understanding of what aspects of the topics make students difficult to learn. In addition, the two professors applied various teaching strategies such as giving examples, questioning, and problem solving, but the degree of students' participation was not enough in the process of teaching. In the aspect of assessment, the professors had low understanding in students' achievement or feedback. Based on the results of the analysis, this study proposed methods and strategies for improving the teaching professionalism of science-engineering professors.
Software reuse the concept of developing software by using existing software assets, rather than developing it from scratch. Developers may face difficulties of reusing existing software assets because existing assets are normally developed by other developers for different purposes. Developers tend to seek appropriate knowledge about effectively reusing software assets from the developers who have faced and solved similar problems in reusing software assets previously. In other words, the reuse-related knowledge of domain experts or other developers usually provides important clues to solve reuse-related problems. Such reuse-relalted knowledge can help developers to reduce the time and effort to identify and solve the difficulties and problems that may arise in reusing software assets and in minimizing the risks of reusing them by allowing them to reuse reliable software assets in an appropriate way and by recognizing similar requirements or constraints of resuing the assets. In this paper, we describe a model to represent reuse-related knowledge in a formal way, and explain the architecture and a prototype implementation of Software Reuse Wiki (SRW) that enables collaborative organization and sharing of software reuse-related knowledge. We have conducted an experiment pertaining to problem solving in reusing assets based on reuse-related knowledge. We also discuss about our evaluation plan for showing the benefits and contributions of reuse knowledge representation model and management methods in SRW. We expect that SRW can contribute to facilitate users' participations and make efficient sharing and growing of reuse-related knowledge. In addition, the representation model of reuse-related knowledge and management methods can make developers acquire more reliable and useful reuse-related knowledge in a straightforward manner without spending additional efforts to find solutions to solve reuse-related problems.

This study intended to manufacture high quality cement, such as solving the quality problem of cement which has been emerging recently, along with improving grinding efficiency. To this end, the synthesis of melamine-functional pulverizing agents and the physical properties of cement applying them were reviewed and the reaction was carried out by dividing the melamine airborne compound into three stages of polymerization using methylation, sulfonation, and acid catalyst to improve the crushing efficiency of cement clinker and the physical properties of manufactured cement. The obtained melamine type copolymer was applied to the grinding process of cement clinker. And it's grinding efficiency and compressive strength were compared with DEG(diethylene glycol) and TIPA(triisopropanol amine). When it comes to the grinding efficiency, by lowering surface energy with stable adsorption from organic polymer to cement particles, the fineness showed 4-6% up. In the meantime, the compression strength hiked 30% from its initial strength compared to the conventional DEG. At the age of 28days, the strength showed approximately 13% improvement. Therefore, it is confirmed that the overall quality has been elevated in comparison with the conventional one.
