  • Some discrimination of modules whose endomorhism rings are prime is introduced, by means of structures of submodules inducing prime ideals of the endomorphism ring End(sub)R (M) of a left R-module (sub)RM over a ring R. Modules with non-prime endomorphism rings are contrapositively studied as well.

  • An A-module M is catenary if for each pair of prime submodules K and L of M with $K{\subset}L$ all saturated chains of prime submodules of M from K to L have a common finite length. We show that when A is a Noetherian domain, then every finitely generated A-module is catenary if and only if A is a Dedekind domain or a field. Moreover, a torsion-free divisible A-module M is catenary if and only if the vector space M over Q(A) (the field of fractions of A) is finite dimensional.

  • For a left R-module M, we identify certain submodules of M that play a role analogous to that of ideals in the ring R. We investigate some properties of M-ideals in the submodules of M and also study Jacobson radicals of a submodule of M.

  • This paper is devoted to study the divisorial submodules. We get some equivalent conditions for a submodule to be a divisorial submodule. Also we get equivalent conditions for $(N{\cap}L)^{-1}$ to be a ring, where N, L are submodules of a module M.

  • Let G be an abelian monoid with identity e. Let R be a G-graded commutative ring, and M a graded R-module. In this paper we first introduce the concept of graded primal submodules of M an give some basic results concerning this class of submodules. Then we characterize the graded primal ideals of the idealization R(+)M.

  • In this paper we study certain modules whose prime spectrums are Noetherian or/and spectral spaces. In particular, we investigate the relationship between topological properties of prime spectra of torsion modules and algebraic properties of them.

  • With the notion of prime submodule defined by F. Raggi et al. we prove that the intersection of all prime submodules of a Goldie module M is a nilpotent submodule provided that M is retractable and M(Λ)-projective for every index set Λ. This extends the well known fact that in a left Goldie ring the prime radical is nilpotent.
