The Theory of Change in Nursing Practice

  • The topic I have chosen for presentation to you today is entitled, the theory of change in nursing practice or to put it into simpler words. How do new ideas in nursing get started - Where do they come from\ulcorner - How are these ideas spread through the social system of nurses\ulcorner - What makes some Directors of Nursing more ready to accept change than others\ulcorner What factors in-fluence than to introduce change\ulcorner The process of change has been the subject of considerable research in such diverse disciplines and fields as anthropology and rural sociology, marketing and, also, education, for many years. The studies are called“diffusion”studies, or sometimes“adoption”studies, or“adoption of innovation”studies. They deal specifically with the transmission of innovations to members of a social system, and are considered a subset of research in the general field of communication, Although a number of studies have been undertaken in medicine, and, in the past decade, numerous ones in education, there have been few studies on the process of change in nursing. Yet, nursing has undergone tremendous changes in the past 10 years - the nursing process has been introduced, there is the expanded role of the nurse which is rapidly becoming a regular mode of practice - and many, many more changes, We seem to be always running to try. to keep up with changes that have already taken place. Yet little is known about known about the process of change itself - how practitioners learn about new ideas and techniques, or about the factors which influence nurses to accept some changes and reject others. The purpose of the study I am about. to describe was to analyze the process of change as it functioned in regard to nursing innovations in a selected segment of Canadian hospitals, and to relate the analysis to general research and theory about information transmission and the acceptance of change. Three aspects of the process were investigated : 1. The flow of information about changes in nursing practice through a network of hospitals. 2. Factors influencing the adoption of changes in nursing practice. 3. Factors influencing delay in the adoption process, the rejection of changes, or their discontinuance following adoption.

  • The article identifies the features of the digital culture of modern society in the dynamics of its impact on the education sector, identifies the main directions of digitalization education, an objective analysis is presented, the possibilities of examination as a scientific assessment are determined "Digital reforms" of education, the role of traditional values of educational culture in expertise and improvement digital innovations in the education system, identified the main contradictions in the development of digital culture, to determine the directions of its improvement. The article describes the three main components of information technology as a complex of hardware, software and a system of organizational and methodological support; the description of analog and digital information technologies is presented. The authors list the most common multifunctional office applications and IT tools; the advantages of using IT in the educational process are highlighted.

ON THE CONVERGENCE OF FARIMA SEQUENCE TO FRACTIONAL GAUSSIAN NOISE

  • We consider fractional Gussian noise and FARIMA sequence with Gaussian innovations and show that the suitably scaled distributions of the FARIMA sequences converge to fractional Gaussian noise in the sense of finite dimensional distributions. Finally, we figure out ACF function and estimate the self-similarity parameter H of FARIMA(0, $d$, 0) by using R/S method.

  • Consider FARIMA time series with innovations that have infinite variances. We are interested in the estimation of self-similarities $H_n$ of FARIMA(0, d, 0) by using modified R/S statistic. We can confirm that the $H_n$ converges to Hurst parameter $H=d+\frac{1}{2}$. Finally, we figure out ARMA and minimum variance power spectrum density of FARIMA processes.

창업교육센터의 향후 방향에 관한 연구 : 카우프만 캠퍼스 사업의 시사점을 중심으로 (The Direction to the Entrepreneurship Education Center : Insight from the Kauffman Campus Initiative)

  • 창업 또는 기업정신이란 기업가가 되는 활동을 말하며, 혁신을 수행하는 사람 또는 새로운 것을 도입해 혁신을 경제적 재화로 바꾸는 활동을 말한다. 기업가정신의 대표적 형태로는 창업이 있으며, 최근 이 개념이 사회적, 정치적 형태의 기업가적 활동으로 확대되고 있다. 대학들의 창업교육에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 교육부의 산학협력선도대학 사업을 중심으로 61개 대학에 창업교육센터가 설립되었다. 초기단계인 창업교육센터는 누가, 무엇을, 어떻게 할지에 대한 논의가 필요한 시점이다. 이에 미국의 카우프만센터의 사례를 토대로 우리에게 주는 시사점을 정리하고, 향후 필요한 방향을 정리하고 있다. 고려할 사항으로는 센터의 경영구조, 어떤 프로그램과 활동을 제공할 것인가, 구성원들이 창업교육을 인식하고 흥미를 느끼고 참여하도록 할 것인가, 지속가능한 창업교육센터가 되기 위한 조건 등이 있다. 본 연구의 시사점으로는 먼저 창업교육에서 창업에 대한 정의를 보다 폭넓게 해야 하며, 다양한 교재와 과목들을 개발해야 하고, 가르칠 코치진의 양성, 지속적인 센터 리더십 확보 등이 요구된다.

The Impact of Technology Adoption on Student Satisfaction with Higher Education: An Empirical Study from Vietnam

  • This study aims to analyze the impact of technology adoption on students' satisfaction with the higher education system in Vietnam. With the continuous development of information and technology, the education sector in particular and many economic sectors in Vietnam have witnessed an explosion of applications and interventions in teaching-learning. However, these innovations have also received a lot of criticism regarding their effectiveness and feasibility. Although the numerous benefits that technology adoption has brought to education are apparent, many practitioners have not adjusted to this transition, resulting in lower learner satisfaction. Through a survey of more than 2472 university students in Vietnam, the results find a positive relationship between technology adoption and student satisfaction in higher education. We also test how nine contingent factors including gender, income, major, self-study time, learning methods, technology administration, self-ability in adopting technology, technology accessibility, and purpose of using technology can moderate that relationship. Indeed, technology adoption acts as a facilitator to make learning more convenient, effective, and accessible, rather than completely affecting learning outcomes and satisfaction. This result suggests that self-motivation is an important and decisive factor in improving satisfaction through choosing and applying technology effectively and appropriately.

국내대학의 건축시공 교육과정 운영 및 교육혁신 실태 분석 (Analysis on the Curriculum Operation and Educational Innovation in Building Construction of Domestic Universities)

  • 기술과 사회는 지속적으로 발전하고 있다. 발전하는 사회를 선도하는 대학교육도 끊임없이 변화가 요구된다. 본 연구는 국내대학 건축시공 분야의 교육혁신실태 분석하였다. 중요한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 국내대학의 건축시공분야에서도 교육혁신 강의가 도입되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 50개 대학 중에서 5개 대학에서 혁신강의를 하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 도입되고 있는 혁신교수법은 팀기반학습과 플립러닝이었다. 혁신강의와 전통적인 강의의 가장 큰 차이점은 학생들이 자기주도학습을 하도록 유도하는 것이었다. 이를 위해 평가방법, 주별 강의일정, 학습을 위해 지원되는 도구 등에서 차이가 발생하는 것으로 분석되었다. 사회의 변화에 부응하기 위해 대학교육의 혁신을 위한 지속적인 연구와 노력이 필요한 것으로 판단된다.

  • 한국경제(韓國經濟)의 지식경제화(知識經濟化)를 촉진하여 국가경쟁력을 강화하기 위해서는 새로운 노사관계(勞使關係)가 확립되어야 한다. 과거 대량생산경제에서는 혁신의 기초가 노동을 실물자산으로 대체하는 것이었기 때문에 노사간의 이해대립은 물론 혁신에 대한 노동자의 저항도 불가피한 것이었다. 그러나 지식경제(知識經濟)에서는 지식노동(知識勞動)과 실물자산(實物資産)이 서로 보완관계에 있을 뿐만 아니라 교육과 숙련에 대한 투자는 수확체증(收穫遞增)을 보이고 있으므로 지식경제(知識經濟)에서는 지식(知識)과 숙련을 증진시키는데 노사가 공동의 이해관계를 갖게 된다. 그러므로 지식경제(知識經濟)에서는 협력적(協力的) 노사관계(勞使關係)가 가치창출을 극대화하기 위해서 필수적이다. 한국에서 협력적(協力的) 노사관계(勞使關係)를 정착시키기 위해서는 '노사정위원회(勞使政委員會)'의 적극적인 역할이 필요하다.

초임 가정과교사의 교사사회화에 관한 연구 (A Study on Novice Home Economics Teacher Socialization)

  • This study explored the socialization of novice Home Economics(HE) teachers employing a qualitative research method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with four novice HE teachers from secondary schools. The collected data was analyzed inductively by NVivo, a kind of CAQDAS. The following analysis was organized around three stages of teachers' careers: first, as for influences on teacher socialization prior to formal teacher education, their experiences on 'apprenticeship of observation' provided them both positive and negative role models; second, as for the socialization role of pre-service teacher education, they mentioned that college courses were poorly connected to classroom realities with only a few helpful lectures on HE Education; third, as for socialization in the workplace and its culture, the novice HE teachers were confronted with many kinds of problems including isolation in the classroom, in-service training programs not geared to novices, an overwhelming workload, and so on. Because of these problems, they yearned for and also formed networks with other HE teachers in order to overcome their limitations. The findings supported the notion that interactive and dialectical processes exist during all stages of HE teachers' careers. This study suggests that the teacher in-service training programs are more relevant, and that the introduction of mentoring programs and classroom manuals and teacher manuals would be helpful in practice. These innovations call for cooperation between universities and provincial offices of education for teachers' professional success in teacher socialization.
