감정코칭 집단상담 프로그램이 대학생의 주관적 안녕감과 대인관계에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Emotion Coaching Group Counseling Program on Subjective Well-being and Interpersonal Rtions of University Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 감정코칭 집단상담 프로그램이 대학생의 주관적 안녕감과 대인관계에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보는 것이다. 연구대상자는 J대학교 재학생 24명으로, 실험집단과 통제집단에 각각 12명씩 배정되었다. 감정코칭 집단상담 프로그램은 주 1회 2시간씩 총 10회기를 실시하였다. 주관적 안녕감과 대인관계 검사를 사전 사후에 실시한 후 효과정도를 공변량분석(ANCOVA)를 통해 살펴보았다. 연구결과, 감정코칭 집단상담 프로그램은 참여 대학생들의 주관적 안녕감과 그 하위요인인 생활만족도, 긍정정서에서 유의미한 결과가 나타났다. 또한 대인관계의 하위요인 중 의사소통과 개방성, 민감성에서 유의미한 결과가 나타났다. 이는 감정코칭 집단상담 프로그램이 생활만족도와 긍정정서를 향상시킴으로써 주관적 안녕감을 높이게 되었으며, 대인관계에서 의사소통을 향상시키고 타인을 이해하고 개방적으로 교류할 수 있는데 도움이 된다는 사실을 검증하였다.

안전 코칭 프로그램이 안전행동과 안전 분위기에 미치는 효과 -고속도로 안전순찰원을 중심으로- (An Effect of Safety Coaching Program on Safety Behavior and Climate -Focusing on Expressway Safety Patrol-)

  • This study investigated the impact of a safety coaching program on the safety behavior and safety climate among expressway safety patrols. Four to seven patrols from each of the three branches participated in this study. The safety coaching program was developed based on the GROW model, with main contents including recognizing individual differences, exploring safety values, communicating near-misses, providing effective and efficient feedback, employing non-violent communication, and fostering commitment toward safety behaviors. Additionally, each session included self-monitoring and peer review of each item based on a critical behavior checklist developed for this study, with challenging goals set based on the monitoring and review. The safety coaching program comprised six sessions in three branches, while three other branches were assigned as a control group. A non-equivalent control group experimental design was applied. Dependent variables included observed and perceived safety behavior, safety climate, psychological safety, and feedback. The results indicated that the safety coaching program effectively increased patrols' safety behavior and safety climate. Furthermore, psychological safety and feedback improved. These findings suggest that the developed safety coaching program could serve as an alternative method to enhance safety management for expressway safety patrols. Finally, the implications, limitations, and directions for future research are discussed.

코칭 출산교육 프로그램이 초임부의 불안과 출산 자기효능감에 미치는 효과 (Effects of a Coaching-based Childbirth Program on Anxiety and Childbirth Self-efficacy among Primigravida Women)

  • Purpose: Childbirth self-efficacy plays an important role in women's ability to cope with labor and delivery. Coaching has been gaining popularity as a way to promote cognitive, emotional and behavioral change. This study aimed to test the effects of a Coaching-based childbirth program on anxiety and childbirth self-efficacy among primigravida women. Methods: The study design was a quasi-experimental pre-post design. A coaching-based childbirth program was developed synthesizing concepts and techniques from the literature on coaching and was verified by an expert panel. It consisted of four weekly 2-hour small group sessions. Pregnant women were recruited from H hospital in Seoul. Childbirth self-efficacy and state anxiety were measured before and after the program. Results: Although there was a no significant reduction in anxiety, there were statistically significant increase for childbirth self-efficacy in the experimental group when compared to the control group. Conclusion: The program appears to increase childbirth self-efficacy for pregnant women. Future studies may benefit from using mixed coaching modalities and consider measuring health behaviors and obstetric outcomes to gain insights on its long-term impact.

어머니의 양육효능감과 공감 증진 및 양육스트레스 감소를 위한 자녀양육코칭 프로그램의 개발과 효과 (The Development and the Effectiveness of a Parenting Coaching Program for Parenting Competence, Empathy, and Parenting Stress in Mothers)

  • The purpose of this study is, first, to develop a Parenting Coaching Program to improve parenting competence, and empathy skills, and reduce parenting stress for mothers and second, to examine the program's effectiveness. The program consists of 8 sessions and each session employs a variety of activities and parenting skills to help mothers. The Parenting Sentence of Competence Scale, Empathy Scale, and Parenting Stress Index were used as a pre-test, post-test, and follow-up test, respectively. The data was analyzed by the SPSS 16.0 program, which applied the t-test. Twelve mothers participated in eight sessions of the Parenting Coaching Program, and were compared with the control group of twelve mothers who did not receive treatment. The treatment group statistically showed significant improvement in parenting competence, empathy, and a significant decrease in stress level, in comparison to the control group. It was concluded that the Parenting Coaching Program was effective for improving parenting competence, and empathy skills, and reducing stress.

The Effectiveness of a mHealth Program Using Wearable Devices and Health Coaching among Bus Drivers for Promoting Physical Activity

  • Purpose: Bus drivers are at high risk of chronic diseases due to risk factors associated with poor diet, physical inactivity, high levels of sedentary behaviors, and unfavorable working environments. This study developed a mHealth program for bus drivers, and examined the effectiveness of a mHealth program for promoting physical activity among bus drivers using wearable devices and health coaching. Methods: Forty-seven workers from two bus companies were allocated to the experimental group and the control group. Participants were asked to wear a wearable device (Fitbit Charge HR) during waking hours for a day. Participants in the experimental group were provided with a Fitbit, weekly face-to-face health coaching, a mHealth workbook, and text and photo messaging for 12 weeks. The control group only received a Fitbit. Results: By week 12, there were significant differences between the experimental and control groups in exercise self-efficacy (p<.015) and daily walking steps (p<.001). Conclusion: The findings have demonstrated that the mHealth program using wearable devices and health coaching is effective for bus drivers for promoting physical activity. Based on our findings, it is recommended to encourage the mHealth program using wearable devices and health coaching for bus drivers' wellness.

상황리더십 프로그램이 간호리더의 비판적 사고, 코칭 및 임파워먼트에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Situational Leadership Program on Critical Thinking, Coaching and Empowerment of Nurse Leader)

  • 본 연구는 상황리더십 프로그램이 간호리더의 비판적 사고, 코칭, 임파워먼트를 높이는데 도움이 되는지를 알아보기 위한 실험연구이다. 표본 수는 G*Power프로그램을 이용해 추출하였고, 대상자는 대도시에 소재한 대학병원의 간호 리더 54명과 간호사 342명이었다. 자료 분석은 SPSS WIN 18.0을 사용하여 빈도분석, t-test, ${\chi}^2$-test, repeated measures ANOVA로 하였으며, 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 상황리더십 프로그램으로 인해 비판적 사고는 실험군이 유의하게 증가하였고 대조군은 유의하게 감소하였다. 2. 상황리더십 프로그램으로 인해 코칭은 실험군이 유의하게 증가하였고 대조군은 유의하게 감소하였다. 3. 상황리더십 프로그램으로 인해 임파워먼트는 실험군이 유의하게 증가하였고 대조군은 유의하게 감소하였다. 따라서 상황리더십 프로그램은 간호리더의 비판적 사고, 코칭, 임파워먼트에 효과가 있다고 할 수 있다. 앞으로 상황리더십 프로그램을 간호사에게 적용시키면 임상 중에 발생한 상황의 대처나 조직생활에 있어서의 비판적 사고, 코칭, 임파워먼트 증진에 도움이 될 것 이다.

뇌졸중 재발예방을 위한 생활양식조절 코칭 프로그램의 효과 (The Lifestyle Modification Coaching Program for Secondary Stroke Prevention)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the lifestyle modification coaching program on self efficacy, lifestyle and physiologic indexes related to the recurrence of stroke in patients with stroke. Methods: Sixty-one patients with stroke registered with a stroke center participated in this study. Of the participants, 32 were assigned to the experimental group and 29 to the control group. Self efficacy, alcohol drinking, smoking, physical activity, BMI (body mass index), WHR (waist-hip ratio), blood lipid level, and blood pressure were measured both for the baseline, as well as after intervention. The lifestyle modification coaching program consisted of an 8-week telecoaching session following face-to-face education. The control group received only the face-to-face education. Results: There were significant differences in physical activities, WHR, blood pressure within and between groups after intervention. The lifestyle modification coaching program had significant influences on blood pressure even after gender, age, and physical activity had been adjusted. Conclusion: The results of the study indicate that lifestyle modification coaching program is effective for physical activity, abdominal obesity and blood pressure. Therefore it can be used by nurses in hospitals and communities as one of the secondary stroke prevention programs for patients with stroke.

진로코칭프로그램이 간호대학생의 진로결정 자기효능감, 셀프리더십 및 취업스트레스에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Career Coaching Program for Career decision making self efficacy, Self-leadership, and Employment-stress of Nursing students')

  • 본 연구는 진로코칭프로그램이 간호대학생의 진로결정 자기효능감, 셀프리더십 및 취업스트레스에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 시도하였다. 연구방법은 비동등성 대조군 전후설계의 유사실험연구이며, 자료수집 기간은 2016년 6월 15일에서 7월 31일까지이다. 연구대상자는 B시 소재의 D대학 간호학과 재학생 4학년 중 연구 참여를 희망하고 동의한 실험군 32명과 대조군 34명으로 총 66명이다. 진로코칭프로그램은 총 10회기로 구성되어 개별 코칭, 소집단 코칭 및 집단 코칭기법이 병행되어 진행되었다. 자료분석 방법은 SPSS/WIN 21.0 program을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test, ${\chi}^2$ test와 paired t-test로 분석하였다. 프로그램 적용 전후의 두 집단 간의 진로결정 자기효능감, 셀프리더십 및 취업스트레스를 비교하여 그 효과를 분석하였다. 연구결과는 진로코칭프로그램 적용 전후 두 집단 간 차이를 분석한 결과, 진로결정 자기효능감(t=4.99, p<.001)은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었으며, 셀프리더십(t=5.08, p<.001)도 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 또한 취업스트레스(t=5.08, p<.001)도 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 보였다. 즉, 본 연구에서 적용한 진로코칭프로그램은 간호대학생의 진로결정 자기효능감, 셀프리더십을 증가하였고, 취업스트레스를 감소하는데 효과적임을 알 수 있다.

간호사를 위한 감정코칭 프로그램이 회복탄력성, 감정노동, 자기효능감에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Emotional Coaching Program for Clinical Nurses on Resilience, Emotional Labor, and Self-efficacy)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to assess the effect of the emotional coaching program for hospital nurses. Methods: The study used a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design, and participants included 60 nurses (30 in the experimental group and 30 in the control group) who worked at a general hospital. The experimental group attended four sessions, one per week, with each session lasting two and a half hours. Collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Fisher's exact test, χ2 test, t-test, paired t-test, and repeated measures ANOVA using SPSS WIN 23.0 program. Results: Significant differences were shown between the experimental and the control groups regarding emotional labor (F=68.40, p<.001), resilience (F=48.77, p<.001), and self-efficacy (F=15.31, p<.001). Conclusion: The emotional coaching program for nurses is useful for enhancing nurses' emotional labor management, resilience, and self-efficacy. In addition, this program may serve as a basis for providing emotional coaching to nurses in the future.

고혈압 환자의 비만관리를 위한 인터넷 기반 코칭 프로그램의 효과 (The Effects of an Internet Based Coaching Program for Obesity Management in Hypertensive Patients)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the internet based coaching program for obesity management on weight control related knowledge, self-efficacy, eating habits, physical activity and obesity related physiological indexes in hypertensive patients. Methods: The study design was non-equivalent control group pre-test-post-test design. A total of 43 subjects were overweight or obese hypertensive patients aged 30 or older, who were divided into experimental group (n=23) and control group (n=20). This program lasting 12 weeks consisted of a weight control related education, internet based individual coaching for diet, exercise and behavior modification, offering internet community and health counseling. The variables were measured three times (before the treatment, after 6 weeks, and after 12 weeks) and the collected data were analyzed by SPSS/WIN 17.0 program. Results: The experimental group had significantly improved weight control related knowledge, self efficacy, eating habits, body composition, and systolic blood pressure with time. Conclusion: The internet based coaching program was effective in improving obesity management, also this program will help to prevent cardiovascular disease of obese hypertensive patients.
