  • In this paper, we introduce a new iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of common fixed points of infinite family of nonexpansive mappings and the set of solutions to a generalized equilibrium problem and the set of solutions to a variational inequality problem in a real Hilbert space. Then strong convergence of the scheme to a common element of the three sets is proved. As applications, three new strong convergence theorems are obtained. Our theorems extend important recent results.

  • In this paper, we study the convergence analysis of the sequences generated by the proximal point method for an infinite family of pseudo-monotone equilibrium problems in Banach spaces. We first prove the weak convergence of the generated sequence to a common solution of the infinite family of equilibrium problems with summable errors. Then, we show the strong convergence of the generated sequence to a common equilibrium point by some various additional assumptions. We also consider two variants for which we establish the strong convergence without any additional assumption. For both of them, each iteration consists of a proximal step followed by a computationally inexpensive step which ensures the strong convergence of the generated sequence. Also, for this two variants we are able to characterize the strong limit of the sequence: for the first variant it is the solution lying closest to an arbitrarily selected point, and for the second one it is the solution of the problem which lies closest to the initial iterate. Finally, we give a concrete example where the main results can be applied.

  • In this paper, we introduce and analyze a new class of generalized mixed equilibrium-like problems. By using the auxiliary principle technique, we suggest three iterative algorithms for the generalized mixed equilibrium-like problem. Under certain conditions, we establish the convergence of the iterative algorithms. Our results extend, improve and unify several known results in this field.

  • In this paper, we propose new iteration methods for finding a common point of the solution set of a pseudomonotone equilibrium problem and the solution set of a monotone equilibrium problem. The methods are based on both the extragradient-type method and the viscosity approximation method. We obtain weak convergence theorems for the sequences generated by these methods in a real Hilbert space.

  • In this paper, we propose an iterative algorithm for finding a common solution of a system of generalized equilibrium problems, a split equilibrium problem and a hierarchical fixed point problem over the common fixed points set of a finite family of nonexpansive mappings in Hilbert spaces. Furthermore, we prove that the proposed iterative method has strong convergence under some mild conditions imposed on algorithm parameters. The results presented in this paper improve and extend the corresponding results reported by some authors recently.

  • A globally convergent algorithm for solving equilibrium problems is proposed. The algorithm is based on a proximal point algorithm (shortly (PPA)) with a positive definite matrix M which is not necessarily symmetric. The proximal function in existing (PPA) usually is the gradient of a quadratic function, namely, ${\nabla}({\parallel}x{\parallel}^2_M)$. This leads to a proximal point-type algorithm. We first solve pseudomonotone equilibrium problems without Lipschitzian assumption and prove the convergence of algorithms. Next, we couple this technique with the Banach contraction method for multivalued variational inequalities. Finally some computational results are given.

  • In this paper, we introduce a new algorithm for finding a solution of an equilibrium problem in a real Hilbert space. Our paper extends the single projection method to pseudomonotone variational inequalities, from a 2018 paper of Shehu et. al., to pseudomonotone equilibrium problems in a real Hilbert space. On the basis of the given algorithm for the equilibrium problem, we develop a new algorithm for finding a common solution of a equilibrium problem and fixed point problem. The strong convergence of the algorithm is established under mild assumptions. Several of fundamental experiments in finite (infinite) spaces are provided to illustrate the numerical behavior of the algorithm for the equilibrium problem and to compare it with other algorithms.

  • The purpose of this research is to formulate a new proximal-type algorithm to solve the equilibrium problem in a real Hilbert space. A new algorithm is analogous to the famous two-step extragradient algorithm that was used to solve variational inequalities in the Hilbert spaces previously. The proposed iterative scheme uses a new step size rule based on local bifunction details instead of Lipschitz constants or any line search scheme. The strong convergence theorem for the proposed algorithm is well-proven by letting mild assumptions about the bifunction. Applications of these results are presented to solve the fixed point problems and the variational inequality problems. Finally, we discuss two test problems and computational performance is explicating to show the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

  • By using some existence theorems of maximal elements for a family of set-valued mappings involving a better admissible set-valued mapping under noncompact setting of FC-spaces, we present some non-empty intersection theorems for a family $\{G_i\}_{i{\in}I}$ in product FC-spaces. Then, as applications, some new existence theorems of equilibrium for a system of generalized vector equilibrium problems are proved in product FC-spaces. Our results improve and generalize some recent results.

  • The purpose of this paper is to prove strong convergence theorems for common fixed points of two families of weak relatively nonexpansive mappings and a family of equilibrium problems by a new monotone hybrid method in Banach spaces. Because the hybrid method presented in this paper is monotone, so that the method of the proof is different from the original one. We shall give an example which is weak relatively nonexpansive mapping but not relatively nonexpansive mapping in Banach space $l^2$. Our results improve and extend the corresponding results announced in [W. Takahashi and K. Zembayashi, Strong convergence theorem by a new hybrid method for equilibrium problems and relatively nonexpansive mappings, Fixed Point Theory Appl. (2008), Article ID 528476, 11 pages; doi:10.1155/2008/528476] and [Y. Su, Z. Wang, and H. Xu, Strong convergence theorems for a common fixed point of two hemi-relatively nonexpansive mappings, Nonlinear Anal. 71 (2009), no. 11, 5616?5628] and some other papers.
