  • Let X be a normed linear space, M a subspace of X, and V a subspace of the dual space $X^*$. In [3], we studied the Hahn-Banach extension property in V. Here we give the definition and a characterization of the Hahn-Banach extension property in V.

  • Let D$^{p}$ be the space of distributions of $L^{p}$-growth and S the space of tempered destributions in $R^{n}$: D$^{p}$, 1.leq.P.leq..inf., is the dual of the space $D^{p}$ which we discribe later. We denote by O$_{c}$(S:S') the space of convolution operators in S. In [8] S. Sznajder and Z. Zielezny proved the following necessary conditions for convolution operators in O$_{c}$(S:S) to be solvable in S.

  • On the setting of the unit ball of ${\mathbb{R}}^n$, we consider a Banach space of harmonic functions motivated by the atomic decomposition in the sense of Coifman and Rochberg [5]. First we identify its dual (resp. predual) space with certain harmonic function space of (resp. vanishing) logarithmic growth. Then we describe these spaces in terms of boundedness and compactness of certain Toeplitz operators.

  • In this paper, we will provide an alternative proof to characterize the pointwise multipliers which maps a Sobolev space $\dot{H}^r(\mathb{R}^d)$ to its dual $\dot{H}^{-r}(\mathb{R}^d)$ in the case 0 < $r$ < $\frac{d}{2}$ by a simple application of the definition of fractional Sobolev space. The proof relies on a method introduced by Maz'ya-Verbitsky [9] to prove the same result.

  • We define and study a concept of $T_A$-space which is closely related to the generalized Gottlieb group. We know that X is a $T_A$-space if and only if there is a map $r:L(A,\;X){\rightarrow}L_0(A,\;X)$ called a $T_A$-structure such that $ri{\sim}1_{L_0(A,\;X)}$. The concepts of $T_{{\Sigma}B}$-spaces are preserved by retraction and product. We also introduce and study a dual concept of $T_A$-space.
