If safety injection systems (SISs) do not work in the event of a loss-of-coolant accident (LOCA), the accident can progress to a severe accident in which the reactor core is exposed and the reactor vessel fails. Therefore, it is considered that a technology that provides recoverable maximum time for SIS actuation is necessary to prevent this progression. In this study, the corresponding time was defined as the golden time. To achieve the objective of accurately predicting the golden time, the prediction was performed using the deep fuzzy neural network (DFNN) with rule-dropout. The DFNN with rule-dropout has an architecture in which many of the fuzzy neural networks (FNNs) are connected and is a method in which the fuzzy rule numbers, which are directly related to the number of nodes in the FNN that affect inference performance, are properly adjusted by a genetic algorithm. The golden time prediction performance of the DFNN model with rule-dropout was better than that of the support vector regression model. By using the prediction result through the proposed DFNN with rule-dropout, it is expected to prevent the aggravation of the accidents by providing the maximum remaining time for SIS recovery, which failed in the LOCA situation.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effects of academic procrastination behavior on the relationship between academic stress and dropout intention. The research questions are First, does the academic stress of college students influence the intention to drop out? Second, does academic procrastination behavior the relationship between academic stress and dropout intention? A survey was conducted on 218 college students about academic stress, dropout intention, and academic procrastination behavior. Correlation analysis was conducted to find out the relationship between academic stress, dropout, and academic procrastination behavior, and Multiple regression analysis was performed to determine the moderating effect of academic procrastination behavior. The mediating effect was verified using Baron and Kenny's procedure, and the significance was verified by Sobel verification. The results are as follows: First, academic stress, dropout intention, and academic delay behavior showed significant positive correlations.. Second, Academic stress showed 15% of explanatory power as an influential factor on dropout intention, and 5% of explanatory power was an influential factor on academic procrastination behavior. Third, the through mediation analysis, there was partial mediated effects of academic procrastination behavior between academic stress and dropout intention. Our findings suggest that to improve the dropout intention among college students, educators should carefully design and develop an education program
This study tries to examine the effects of multicultural adolescent's ego-resilience, biculture acceptance, bullying, and parenting attitude on their intention of school dropout. To do this, the subjects(n=1,347) extracted from the 5th year of the Multicultural Adolescent Panel Survey were analyzed by using hierarchical regression analysis. The founded results are as follows. First, multicultural adolescent's strong ego-resilience, biculture acceptance and positive parenting attitude decreased their intention of school dropout. Second, multicultural adolescent's bullying had no effect on it. Third, negative parenting attitude increased multicultural adolescent's intention of school dropout, playing the most significant role in the change of their intention of school dropout. On the based of findings, the study suggested various the programs to prevent multicultural adolescent's intention of school dropout which can be practiced in the field service.

Deep Neural Network (DNN) is a large layered neural network which is consisted of a number of layers of non-linear units. Deep Learning which represented as DNN has been applied very successfully in various applications. However, many issues in DNN have been identified through past researches. Among these issues, generalization is the most well-known problem. A Recent study, Dropout, successfully addressed this problem. Also, Dropout plays a role as noise, and so it helps to learn robust feature during learning in DNN such as Denoising AutoEncoder. However, because of a large computations required in Dropout, training takes a lot of time. Since Dropout keeps changing an inter-layer representation during the training session, the learning rates should be small, which makes training time longer. In this paper, using mutation operation, we reduce computation and improve generalization performance compared with Dropout. Also, we experimented proposed method to compare with Dropout method and showed that our method is superior to the Dropout one.

The purpose of this study is to find out the mediation effect of college adaption for the relationship between learning flow and university dropout in local university. For this study, 281 university students in Chungbuk region were applied to assess the mediation effect of college adaption for learning flow and university dropout by using confirmatory factor analysis, hierarchical multiple regression of Baron and Kenny, and Sobel test. The results show that more learning flow tended to have more difficultly in university dropout, and it was founded that academic and social adjustment for university adaption(mediator) partially mediated the influence of learning flow (independent variable) on univeristy dropout (dependent variable), institutional adjustment was fully mediated, and personal-emotional adjustment was no mediation effect. Based on the results of this study, we suggest a implication to decrease university dropout through increasing learning flow and university adaption.
The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of parent-rearing attitudes on intention of school dropout of multicultural adolescent and the mediating effect of biculture acceptance between two variables. For the purpose, 1,323 subjects selected from the sixth year of the Multicultural Youth Panel (MCAPS) were analyzed. The data was verified by using technical statistics, correlation, and path analysis. The results showed that first, the positive parenting attitude and biculture acceptance decreased the intention of school dropout of multicultural adolescent, while negative parenting attitude increased it. Second, biculture acceptance had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between positive parenting attitude and intention of school dropout. Third, attitude the effect of negative parenting attitudes on intention of school dropout was partly mediated by biculture acceptance. On the basis of above findings, the practical engagements to enhance biculture acceptance and prevent the intention of school dropout of multicultural adolescent were suggested.

Recently, due to a decrease in the school age population, it is expected that there will be great difficulties in recruiting students. The dropout rate for the last three years of four-year universities nationwide announced in www.academyinfo.go.kr has been continuously increasing at 4.1% (2016), 4.3% (2017), and 4.6% (2018). It has emerged as the biggest issue facing the university. In this study, through a large-scale empirical study at H University, an analysis of the dropout intention of college students and educational factors affecting their intentions were derived. First, as a result of analyzing the intention to drop out, the dropout intention of students in the engineering department was higher than in the humanities, and it was higher in the upper grades. Students from specialized high schools were higher than general high schools, and the students who raised the tuition fees were higher than those who were not. As a result of factor analysis on dropout intention, it was analyzed that class difficulty, major satisfaction, parent satisfaction, internationalization satisfaction, and college education performance satisfaction had a significant effect on dropout intention.

In this study, interview scripts written in the dropout application was analyzed using BERTopic,, and parental influence, academic adaptation, university dissatisfaction was derived as major topics. An empirical study was conducted through a survey of 199 current students with researchmodel composed of those factors affecting dropout intention. The result shows that parental influence had a negative effect on academic adaptation and university satisfaction. Academic adaptation and university satisfaction had a negative effect on the dropout intention. parental influence did not directly affect the dropout intention, but had an indirect positive effect through academic adaptation and university/major satisfaction. The result shows that university satisfaction and academic adaptation is important factor to lower the dropout intention of students who chose current university by parental influence.
This study sought to investigate the effect of academic satisfaction on the dropout intention of cosmetology undergraduates. Analyzing the effect of academic satisfaction on career dropouts showed that the sub-factors of academic satisfaction-evaluation satisfaction, class satisfaction had a statistically significant part effect. Analyzing the effect of academic satisfaction on psychological factors for dropping out showed that the sub-factors of academic satisfaction have a statistically significant effect. Furthermore, regarding the effect of academic satisfaction on environmental factors, the sub-factors of academic satisfaction have a statistically significant effect on wealth. High satisfaction was shown to have no statistically significant effect on dropout intention. The results of the study showed that the higher the degree of satisfaction with the evaluation and the degree of satisfaction with the course of beauty majors, the more negative (-) the impact on dropout. For cosmetology majors, academic satisfaction is a subjective emotion felt through study at university and major. Students with high academic satisfaction are more likely to love their school and their work, and positively influence their intention to stay in school and reduce student dropout rates. Intention to drop out indicates the intention to lose interest and purpose in cosmetology college students. This is directly linked to the dropout rate of school students and requires steady research. Through this research, we hope that active discussions will be held on academic satisfaction and intention to drop out of university students specializing in cosmetology.
This study aimed to examine the effect of bicultural acceptance attitudes in Korean culture and mother's countries, which are sub-factors of multicultural adolescents' bicultural acceptance, on their intention of school dropout through self-esteem. For the analysis, the 1,105 subjects were selected from the 8th(2018) the Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study(MAPS). The data collected were analyzed by various research methods including correlation analysis, regression analysis and sobel test. The main results are as follows. First, bicultural acceptance of multicultural adolescents reduced their intention of school dropout. Second, self-esteem had a partial mediating effect in the causal relationship between multicultural adolescents' bicultural acceptance in Korean culture and intention of school dropout. Third, the effect of bicultural acceptance in mother's countries of multicultural adolescents on intention of school dropout was completely mediated by their self-esteem. On the basis of the findings, practical programs to decrease the intention of school dropout and to enhance self-esteem of multicultural adolescents were suggested.
