어린이집 담임교사와 누리과정 보조교사의 협력 경험에 대한 연구 (A Study on Childcare Teachers' Cooperation Experiences with Nuri Curriculum Teaching Assistants)

  • Objective: The aim of this study was to achieve a qualitative understanding of childcare teachers' cooperation experiences with Nuri curriculum teaching assistants. Methods: The study adopted a qualitative research design. Participants comprised 23 childcare teachers working with Nuri curriculum teaching assistants. Focus group interviews were conducted to discuss their cooperation experience with the teaching assistants. Qualitative themes analyses were carried out following individual-level analyses, group-level analyses, and cross-group-comparisons. Results and Conclusion: The results showed that childcare teachers, at first, had low expectation for Nuri curriculum teaching assistants because they have ambiguous job descriptions. However, the teachers' actual interactions exhibited cooperation effects on improving the quality of childcare. Childcare teachers suggested the ways to promote cooperation between childcare teachers and Nuri curriculum teaching assistants at individual and systemic levels.

보육교사의 수요 전망 (Estimating the Future Demand for Chilacare Teachers in Korea)

  • The purpose of this study was to estimate the future demand for certified teachers at childcare centers. This is an essential step to secure the supply of childcare teachers in the future. To achieve this purpose, the demand for childcare teachers from 2006 to 2020 were estimated using time series techniques with data on the number of childcare teachers from 2002 to 2005. According to time series estimates, the demand for childcare teachers is expected to increase steadily from 1,224 to 1,956 annually. This illustrates the need for mid-term and long-term planing in order to guarantee an adequate supply of childcare teachers.

부모의 행복감이 양육스트레스와 직장어린이집 이용만족도에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Happiness on Parental Stress and Employer-supported Childcare Centers Satisfaction Level)

  • 본 연구는 직장어린이집 이용 부모의 행복감이 양육스트레스와 어린이집 이용만족도에 미치는 영향력을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 통해 일 가정의 조화로운 양립과 직장어린이집 운영의 질적 향상을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 이를 위해 직장어린이집 이용 부모 206명을 대상으로 7개 영역 35문항으로 구성된 행복감 검사도구와 2개 영역 20문항으로 구성된 양육스트레스 검사도구 및 5개 영역 25문항으로 구성된 이용만족도 검사도구를 사용하였다. 본 연구를 통해 나타난 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 직장어린이집 부모의 행복감과 직장어린이집 이용만족도에 대한 인식은 높은 수준으로 나타났고, 양육스트레스는 보통보다 약간 높은 수준으로 나타났다. 둘째, 직장어린이집 부모의 행복감과 양육스트레스는 부적상관을 보였으며, 행복감과 직장어린이집 이용만족도는 정적상관을 보였다. 셋째, 직장어린이집 부모의 행복감은 행복성, 가족의 화목 순으로 양육스트레스에 영향을 미치고, 행복감은 행복성, 대인관계 순으로 직장어린이집 이용만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 부모의 양육지원을 위한 지원 방향이 물질적 구조적 접근뿐만 아니라 부모의 행복감을 증진시키는 정의적 차원의 접근이 필요함을 시사한다.

  • 본 연구는 보육교사의 자기성찰지능과 영유아권리 존중 보육의 관계를 확인하고, 이들 간의 관계에서 전문성의 매개효과를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 J시 지역에 근무하고 있는 보육교사 351명이다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 24.0 통계프로그램을 사용하여 신뢰도분석, 기술통계, 상관분석, 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 보육교사의 자기성찰지능과 영유아권리 존중 보육, 전문성은 모두 유의한 정적 상관이 나타났다. 둘째, 보육교사의 자기성찰지능과 영유아권리 존중 보육 간 관계에서 전문성의 부분매개효과가 나타나, 자기성찰지능은 영유아권리 존중 보육에 정적인 영향을 미치며 매개변인인 전문성은 자기성찰지능이 영유아권리 존중 보육에 미치는 영향력을 증가시킨다는 것이 확인되었다. 따라서 보육교사의 자기성찰지능과 전문성은 영유아권리 존중 보육을 실행하는데 의미 있는 변인이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구결과는 영유아권리 존중 보육을 위해 보육교사의 자기성찰지능과 전문성을 지원할 수 있는 방안이 제시되어야 함을 시사한다.

가정어린이집 보육교사들의 권리실제에 관한 질적 연구 (A Study on the Rights Practice of Childcare Teachers in Home Daycare Centers)

  • Objective: The present study examined how childcare teachers at home daycare centers perceive their rights as teachers and what kind of rights situations pertain to them at their respective daycare centers. Methods: Adopting a qualitative research method approach, this study conducted focus group interviews to collect empirical data. The participants were childcare teachers and directors at home daycare centers, which were shown to have relatively poor work environments compared to other types of daycare centers Results: The findings revealed that the participants at home daycare centers perceived their rights as childcare teachers to be extremely vulnerable. It was shown that their rights could not be protected in various frameworks involving mutual relations between teachers and directors, the Infant Care Act and childcare policy, and social perceptions that fail to recognize them as professionals. Conclusion: The fingdings from the present study contribute to our understanding of the rights situation faced by childcare teachers at home daycare centers and to the social discourse on finding ways to realize the teachers' full rights as childcare professionals.

어린이집 교사의 창의적 인성이 교사효능감에 미치는 영향에서 스트레스 대처전략의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effect of Stress-coping Strategies of Childcare Teachers' Creative Personality on Teacher Efficacy)

  • Objective: This study aimed to investigate the mediating effect of stress-coping strategies of childcare teachers' creative personality on teacher efficacy. Methods: Study subjects were 204 childcare teachers working at nursery schools located in S city of Gyeonggi province, and this study collected materials from childcare teachers through a self-report survey. For materials collected, this study conducted frequency analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis using spss 21.0, and verified the mediating effect through the Sobel Test. Results of this study are as follows. Results: First, there was a positive correlation among creative personality, teacher efficacy and stress-coping strategies. Second, results show that stress-coping strategies mediate the effect of childcare teachers' creative personality on teacher efficacy. Lastly, problem-focused coping strategies turned out to be full mediation, whereas coping strategies seeking social support was partial mediation. Conclusion: Based on the results, this study suggested the necessity to prepare a practical plan for enabling childcare teachers to use stress-coping strategies in a successful way.

보육교사의 직무스트레스에 대한 자아탄력성과 원장.동료의 사회적 지지 (The Effect of Ego-resilience and Directors' and Fellow Teachers' Social support on Childcare Teachers' Job Stress)

  • This study examined the effects of ego-resilience and directors' and fellow teachers' social support on childcare teachers' job stress. The participants were 323 childcare teachers in Chung nam Province and Daejeon Metropolitan City. The research instruments were Job Stress Scale by Cho(2004), Ego-resilience Scale by Park(1996) with CPI and CAQ correction, and Social Support Scale by Park(1985). Collected data were analysed by t-test, F test and Scheff$\acute{e}$ test for post hoc test, Pearson's productive correlation and stepwise multiple regression, and Cronbach's $\alpha$ for reliability by SPSS PC program (17.0 version). The results were as follows: First, the childcare teachers' job stress level was low (M=2.51, SD=.63), while ego-resilience level and social support level of directors and fellow teachers (M=3.68, SD=.58; M=3.62, SD=.94; M=3.83, SD=.69, respectively) were above the average. Second, there were significant differences between different levels of ego-resilience and of social support from directors and fellow teachers. Last, directors' social support and childcare teachers' optimistic attitude of ego-resilience were the most dominant variables that affected childcare teachers' job stress level(R2=38.3% for total score of childcare teachers' job stress).

보육교사 양성학과 평가·인증 방안 및 실무추진체계 연구 (A Study on the Accreditation Method and Implementation System of the Childcare Teacher Education Department)

  • Objective: In this study, a department accreditation system was introduced as a specific way to improve the professionalism of childcare teachers, and evaluation indicators for department accreditation and the implementation system were derived to find a practical direction. Methods: According to the purpose of this study, related laws and websites were reviewed. In addition, in order to investigate opinions on the composition and implementation system of qualification indicators, a meeting was conducted with professors of the department of childcare teacher education and other qualification experts. Results: In order to introduce a department accreditation system for childcare teacher education, it is necessary to specify the relevant laws, and that the operation of an organization affiliated with a public institution is appropriate for the practical implementation of the system. In addition, an evaluation index plan composed of three indicators of educational conditions, curriculum, and performance areas was derived. Conclusion/Implications: In this study, a practical preparation plan, such as evaluation indicators and an implementation system, was presented for the introduction of a department accreditation childcare teacher education system. It is expected that this study will contribute to the successful establishment of the accreditation system of childcare teacher education.

보육교사의 직장 내 사회적 지지가 직무만족도에 미치는 영향: 대인관계 유능성의 매개효과 (The Impact of Social Support in the Workplace on Job Satisfaction Among Childcare Centers Teachers: The Mediating Role of Interpersonal Competence)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to verify whether teachers' interpersonal competence serves as a mediator between perceived social support in the workplace, as perceived by childcare teachers, and their level of job satisfaction. Methods: The participants of this study comprised 422 childcare teachers employed in childcare centers across Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi Province. Correlation analysis was performed using the collected data to examine the relationships between variables. Additionally, regression analysis was carried out to validate the mediating role of interpersonal relationship competence in the association between workplace social support and job satisfaction. Results: The study's findings revealed a positive correlation between interpersonal competence and job satisfaction. The study successfully confirmed the mediating role of interpersonal competence among childcare teachers in the connection between workplace social support and job satisfaction. Conclusion/Implications: The results suggest that enhancing the job satisfaction of childcare teachers requires identifying diverse social support systems within childcare centers that influence them. It is imperative to formulate strategies that highly value social support and concurrently enhance interpersonal skills.

유아가 인식하는 남성보육교사의 역할과 유아의 성역할 개념 (Children's Understanding on the Roles of Male Childcare Teachers and Children's Gender Role Concepts)

  • 본 연구는 유아가 인식한 남성보육교사의 역할과 남성보육교사의 역할 수행에 따른 유아의 성역할 개념을 알아보는데 목적을 두었다. 유아교사의 역할을 분석하기 위해 수도권에 위치한 어린이집 유아 34명을 대상으로 심층면담과 그림 그리기를 실시하고, ${\chi}2$ 검증 및 내용분석을 실시하였다. 또한 유아 38명을 대상으로 유아의 성역할 개념의 평균, 표준편차를 산출하였다. 연구결과 유아가 인식한 남성보육교사의 역할은 가르치는 역할이 가장 높게 나타났고, 일상을 돌보는 역할, 놀이자의 역할이 그 다음으로 많이 나타났다. 반면에 환경을 조직하는 역할, 업무를 지원하는 역할, 컴퓨터로 일하는 역할은 낮게 나타났다. 성역활 개념에서는 남성보육교사의 역할 수행에 따라 남성보육교사의 유아가 여성보육교사의 유아보다 성역할 개념이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 아동권리협약에 명시된 유아의 참여권을 보장하기 위해 유아와의 인터뷰뿐만 아니라 유아의 그림 자료도 분석에 활용하여 유아가 인식하는 남성보육교사의 역할을 심층적으로 분석했다.
