  • In this paper, we investigate the boundedness character, the periodic character and the global behavior of positive solutions of the difference equation $$x_{n+1}=p_n+\frac{x_n}{x_{n-1}},\;n=0,1,{\cdots}$$ where $\{p_n\}$ is a two periodic sequence of nonnegative real numbers and the initial conditions $x_{-1}$, $x_0$ are arbitrary positive real numbers.

  • We characterize the boundedness and compactness of the weighted composition operator on the logarithmic Bloch space $\mathcal{L}\ss=\{f{\in}H(D):sup_D(1-|z|^2)ln(\frac{2}{1-|z|})|f'(z)|$<+$\infty$ and the little logarithmic Bloch space ${\mathcal{L}\ss_0$. The results generalize the known corresponding results on the composition operator and the pointwise multiplier on the logarithmic Bloch space ${\mathcal{L}\ss$ and the little logarithmic Bloch space ${\mathcal{L}\ss_0$.

  • A deranged Cantor set (without the uniform bounded-ness condition away from zero of contraction ratios) whose weak local dimensions for all points coincide has its Hausdorff dimension of the same value of weak local dimension. We will show it using an energy theory instead of Frostman's density lemma which was used for the case of the deranged Cantor set with the uniform boundedness condition of contraction ratios. In the end, we will give an example of such a deranged Cantor set.

  • In this paper, the author studies the k-th commutators of oscillatory singular integral operators with a BMO function and phases more general than polynomials. For 1 < p < $\infty$, the $L^p$-boundedness of such operators are obtained provided their kernels belong to the spaces $L(log+L)^{k+1}(S^{n-1})$. The results of the corresponding maximal operators are also established.

  • We obtain some necessary and sufficient conditions for the boundedness of the composition operators between weighted Bergman spaces of logarithmic weights. In terms of the conditions for the boundedness, we compute the essential norm of the composition operators.

  • Upper bounds of the perturbed Co-semigroups of the infinite dimensional systems are investigated by using the algebraic Riccati equation(ARE). In the case that the solution P of the ARE is strictly positive, the perturbed semigroups are uniformly bounded. A sufficient condition for the solution P to be strictly positive is provided. The uniform boundedness plays an important role in extending approximately weak stability to weak stability on th whole space. Exponential Stability of the perturbed semigroups is studied by using the Young's inequlity. Some further discussions on the uniform boundedness of the perturbed semigroups are given.

  • We investigate the representation of the solution of discrete linear Volterra difference systems by means of the resolvent matrix and fundamental matrix, respectively, and then study the boundedness of the solutions of discrete Volterra systems by improving the assumptions and the proofs of Medina#s results in [6].

  • For the stochastic differential inclusion on infinite dimensional space of the form $dX_t{\in}\sigma(X_t)dW_t+b(X_t)dt$, where ${\sigma}$, b are set-valued maps, W is an infinite dimensional Hilbert space valued Q-Wiener process, we prove the boundedness and continuity of solutions under the assumption that ${\sigma}$ and b are closed convex set-valued satisfying the Lipschitz property using approximation.

A series of clearcut characterizations for the boundedness of vector measure $\mu{\;}:{\;}\sum\rightarrow{\;}X$ is obtained, e.g., ${\mu}$ is bounded if and only if ${\mu}(A_j){\;}\rightarrow{\;}0$ weakly for every disjoint $\{A_j\}{\;}\subseteq{\;}\sum$ and if and only if $\{\frac{1}{j^j}{\mu}(A_j)\}^{\infty}_{j=1}$ is bounded for every disjoint $\{A_j\}{\;}\subseteq{\;}\sum$.
