  • When the image registration methods which were generally used to the low medium resolution satellite images is applied to the high spatial resolution images, some matching errors or limitations might be occurred because of the local distortions in the images. This paper, therefore, proposed the automatic image-to-image registration of high resolution satellite images using local properties of control points to improve the registration result.

  • 본 논문에서는 움직임 감지를 사용하여 영상 해상도를 자동 제어하는 실시간 다중 카메라 영상 감시 시스템을 구현하였다. 평상시에는 4개 채널의 영상을 QVGA급으로 취득한 후 하나의 VGA급 영상으로 통합하여 전송한다. 움직임이 포착되는 경우에는 해당 채널의 영상을 자동으로 확대하여 VGA급으로 취득한 후 나머지 3개 채널의 영상을 QQVGA급으로 줄여서 오버레이한다. 이를 통하여 모든 채널의 영상을 놓치지 않으면서도 전송 대역폭을 늘리지 않고 움직임이 포착된 채널을 확대하여 감시할 수 있다. 0.18 um 공정에서 합성한 최대 동작 주파수는 110 MHz로서 이론상으로 4개의 HD급 카메라를 지원할 수 있다.

  • With the rapid development of Urban Mass Transit in China, the Intelligent Transport System becomes inevitable. Based on the brief introduction of the blueprint of Urban Mass Transit in Shanghai, this paper analyses in detail the components and functions of Automatic Train Control (ATC) system applied in Shanghai Metro, presents the key technology of the main three subsystems of the ATC system : Automatic Train Supervision (ATS) subsystem, Automatic Train Protection (ATP) subsystem, Automatic Train Operation (ATO) subsystem. After reading this paper, you will have an general grasp of ATC system. At the end of the paper, it suggests a good resolution about the ATC system equipment to be made in China.   • This paper presents adaptive add-on control algorithms for theconventional mode of operation of MEMS z-axis gyroscopes. This scheme is realized by adding an outer loop to a conventional force-balancing scheme that includes a parameter estimation algorithm. The parameter adaptation algorithm estimates the angular rate, identifies and compensates the quadrature error, and may permit on-line automatic mode tuning. The convergence and resolution analysis show that the proposed adaptive add-on control scheme prevents the angular rate estimate from being contaminated by the quadrature error, while keeping ideal resolution performance of a conventional force-balancing scheme.

  • This paper describes an intelligent user interface to define simulation models from the process and resource models. It also explains an automatic program generator of discrete event simulation model for shop floor control in a flexible manufacturing system. Especially, the paper is focused on the design and development of methodology to automate simulation modeling from the system description. Describing a shop floor control system in simulation is not an easy task since it must resolve various decision problems such as deadlock resolution, part dispatching, resource conflict resolution, etc. The program generator should be capable of constructing a complete discrete simulation models for a multi-product and multi-stage flow shop containing the above mentioned problems.

  • This paper designs a robust controller with improved stability of a system. Robust control theory has been developed by many researchers. The controller derived in that using robust control theory has an assumption that it will be exactly implementation. But, It is very hard because of truncation errors, D-A, A-D transformation, and finite resolution, etc. Such perturbations would make problems in the stability of the system. Recently, Keel's paper presents some examples which shows controllers based on the robust controller design method are very fragile on its own perturbation. In this paper, we try to improve the stability of the closed-loop system in which there exist perturbation in the plant as well as in the controller. The results shows that the stability is improved and the performance is still satisfied.

  • We introduces a development result of semi-automatic karyotyping system using image processing method to improve a long time working of the manual method and 5% error of traditional automatic karyotying system for analyzing karyotying. The karyotyping procedures have many routine tasks such as searching metaphases, taking pictures, developing, editing, etc. There are several automatic karyotyping systems in order to reduce the task in advanced countries. However, they are very expensive, applicable to only human chromosome, and have too many functions to use easily. This paper takes aim at high quality image resolution and development of interface that can adjust brightness and contrast of image on-line. The system can be applied to animal and plants as well as human's chromosome. The system developed in this paper is applied to pig and human. The effectiveness of the system is proved by hospitals in Korea.

Wide-Band Fine-Resolution DCO with an Active Inductor and Three-Step Coarse Tuning Loop

  • This paper presents a wide-band fine-resolution digitally controlled oscillator (DCO) with an active inductor using an automatic three-step coarse and gain tuning loop. To control the frequency of the DCO, the transconductance of the active inductor is tuned digitally. To cover the wide tuning range, a three-step coarse tuning scheme is used. In addition, the DCO gain needs to be calibrated digitally to compensate for gain variations. The DCO tuning range is 58% at 2.4 GHz, and the power consumption is 6.6 mW from a 1.2 V supply voltage. An effective frequency resolution is 0.14 kHz. The phase noise of the DCO output at 2.4 GHz is -120.67 dBc/Hz at 1 MHz offset.

  • In this study, small size stacker Crane for automatic ware house and interface circuit is designed and manufactured. IBM-PC is used as a controller. At 50kg$_{f}$ load, optimal motion velocity is 20 mm/min for X and Y axis and 12 mm/min for Z axis. Position fesolution is 0.005 mm and repeatability is .+-. 0.025 mm. Through characteristic experiment, effectiveness of the designed and manufactured stacker crane. PC control program, and design of interface circuit and construction of control system are shown. From these results, the developed stacker crane can be apply to FMS(Flexible Manufacturing System) and FA(Factory Automation) of industrial field.d.
