APPROXIMATE BI-HOMOMORPHISMS AND BI-DERIVATIONS IN C*-TERNARY ALGEBRAS: REVISITED

  • Bae and W. Park [3] proved the Hyers-Ulam stability of bi-homomorphisms and bi-derivations in $C^*$-ternary algebras. It is easy to show that the definitions of bi-homomorphisms and bi-derivations, given in [3], are meaningless. So we correct the definitions of bi-homomorphisms and bi-derivations. Under the conditions in the main theorems, we can show that the related mappings must be zero. In this paper, we correct the statements and the proofs of the results, and prove the corrected theorems.

  • This paper presents in image-based visual servo control scheme for tracking a workpiece with a hand-eye coordinated robotic system using the fuzzy-neural-network. The goal is to control the relative position and orientation between the end-effector and a moving workpiece using a single camera mounted on the end-effector of robot manipulator. We developed a fuzzy-neural-network that consists of a network-model fuzzy system and supervised learning rules. Fuzzy-neural-network is applied to approximate the nonlinear mapping which transforms the features and theire change into the desired camera motion. In addition a control strategy for real-time relative motion control based on this approximation is presented. Computer simulation results are illustrated to show the effectiveness of the fuzzy-neural-network method for visual servoing of robot manipulator.

WEYL'S TYPE THEOREMS FOR ALGEBRAICALLY (p, k)-QUASIHYPONORMAL OPERATORS

  • For a bounded linear operator T we prove the following assertions: (a) If T is algebraically (p, k)-quasihyponormal, then T is a-isoloid, polaroid, reguloid and a-polaroid. (b) If $T^*$ is algebraically (p, k)-quasihyponormal, then a-Weyl's theorem holds for f(T) for every $f{\in}Hol({\sigma}T))$, where $Hol({\sigma}(T))$ is the space of all functions that analytic in an open neighborhoods of ${\sigma}(T)$ of T. (c) If $T^*$ is algebraically (p, k)-quasihyponormal, then generalized a-Weyl's theorem holds for f(T) for every $f{\in}Hol({\sigma}T))$. (d) If T is a (p, k)-quasihyponormal operator, then the spectral mapping theorem holds for semi-B-essential approximate point spectrum $\sigma_{SBF_+^-}(T)$, and for left Drazin spectrum ${\sigma}_{lD}(T)$ for every $f{\in}Hol({\sigma}T))$.

STRONG CONVERGENCE FOR THREE CLASSES OF UNIFORMLY EQUI-CONTINUOUS AND ASYMPTOTICALLY QUASI-NONEXPANSIVE MAPPINGS

  • In this paper, we introduce a modified three-step iteration scheme with errors for three classes of uniformly equi-continuous and asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive mappings in the framework of uniformly convex Banach spaces. We then use this scheme to approximate a common fixed point of these mappings. The results obtained in this paper extend and improve the recent ones announced by Khan, Fukhar-ud-di, Zhou, Cho, Noor and some others.

  • A system of nonlinear variational inclusions involving general H-monotone operators in Banach spaces is introduced. Using the resolvent operator technique, we suggest an iterative algorithm for finding approximate solutions to the system of nonlinear variational inclusions, and establish the existence of solutions and convergence of the iterative algorithm for the system of nonlinear variational inclusions.

ON FIXED POINT OF UNIFORMLY PSEUDO-CONTRACTIVE OPERATOR AND SOLUTION OF EQUATION WITH UNIFORMLY ACCRETIVE OPERATOR

  • The purpose of this paper is to study the existence and uniqueness of the fixed point of uniformly pseudo-contractive operator and the solution of equation with uniformly accretive operator, and to approximate the fixed point and the solution by the Mann iterative sequence in an arbitrary Banach space or an uniformly smooth Banach space respectively. The results presented in this paper show that if X is a real Banach space and A : X $\rightarrow$ X is an uniformly accretive operator and (I-A)X is bounded then A is a mapping onto X when A is continuous or $X^*$ is uniformly convex and A is demicontinuous. Consequently, the corresponding results which depend on the assumptions that the fixed point of operator and solution of the equation are in existence are improved.

  • In this paper, we introduce and study a general iterative algorithm to approximate a common solution of split generalized equilibrium problem, variational inequality problem and fixed point problem for a finite family of nonexpansive mappings in real Hilbert spaces. Further, we prove a strong convergence theorem for the sequences generated by the proposed iterative scheme. Finally, we derive some consequences from our main result. The results presented in this paper extended and unify many of the previously known results in this area.

비선형 연속계를 위한 다단계 시간최적 제어기 (Time-Optimal Multistage Controllers for Nonlinear Continuous Processes)

  • The problem addressed in this paper is that of the on-line computational burden of time-optimal control laws for quick, strongly nonlinear systems like revolute robots. It will be demonstrated that a large amount of off-line computation can be substituted for most of the on-line burden in cases of time optimization with constrained inputs if differential point-to- point specifications can be relaxed to cell-to-cell transitions. These cells result from a coarse discretization of likely swaths of state space into a set of nonuniform, contiguous volumes of relatively simple shapes. The cell boundaries approximate stream surfaces of the phase fluid and surfaces of equal transit times. Once the cells have been designed, the bang- bang schedules for the inputs are determined for all likely starting cells and terminating cells. The scheduling process is completed by treating all cells into which the trajectories might unex- pectedly stray as additional starting cells. Then an efficient-to-compute control law can be based on the resulting table of optimal strategies.

도로 네트워크 데이타베이스에서 근사 색인을 이용한 k-최근접 질의 처리 (k-Nearest Neighbor Querv Processing using Approximate Indexing in Road Network Databases)

  • 본 논문에서는 도로 네트워크 데이타베이스에서 정적 객체의 k-최근접 이웃 질의를 효율적으로 처리하기 위한 방안을 논의한다. 기존의 여러 기법들은 인덱스를 사용하지 못했는데, 이는 네트워크 거리가 순서화 된 거리함수가 아니며 삼각 부등식(triangular inequality) 성질 또한 만족하지 못하기 때문이다. 이러한 기존 기법들은 질의 처리 시 심각한 성능 저하의 문제를 가진다. 선계산된 네트워크 거리를 이용하는 또 다른 기법은 저장 공간의 오버헤드가 크다는 문제를 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 두 가지 문제점들을 동시에 해결하기 위하여 객체들 간의 네트워크 거리를 근사하여 객체들에 대한 인덱스를 구축하고, 이를 이용하여 k-최근접 이웃 질의를 처리하는 새로운 기법을 제안한다. 이를 위하여 본 논문에서는 먼저 네트워크 공간상의 객체를 유클리드 공간상으로 사상하기 위한 체계적인 방법을 제시한다. 특히, 삼각 부등식 성질을 만족시키기 위하여 평균 네트워크 거리라는 새로운 거리 개념을 제시하고, 유클리드 공간으로의 사상을 위하여 FastMap 기법을 사용한다. 다음으로, 평균 네트워크 거리와 FastMap을 사용하여 네트워크 공간상의 객체들로 인덱스를 구축하는 근사 색인 알고리즘을 제시한다. 또한, 구축한 인덱스를 사용하여 k-최근접 이웃 질의를 효과적으로 수행하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 마지막으로, 실제 도로 네트워크를 이용한 다양한 실험을 통하여 제안된 기법의 우수성을 규명한다.

저주파필터를 적용한 Wegmann방법의 오차평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Error Estimate for Wegmann's Method applying Low Frequency Pass Filler)

  • 수학적 모델을 컴퓨터 상에 실현시키는데 있어 보다 효율적인 알고리즘을 구현하고 개발하는 것이 수치해석 연구의 궁극적인 목표이다. 일반적으로 컴퓨터 상에서 구한 계산 결과, 즉 근사 값은 수학적으로 구한 값인 참값과 정확하게 같지 않다 따라서 근사 값이 얼마나 참값에 가까운가를 측정하는 오차평가는 알고리즘의 효율성을 평가하는데 있어 가장 중요한 과제라 할 수 있다. 대부분의 경우 오차평가에 있어 오차의 한계를 이용하지만 주어진 문제의 참값을 모르기 때문에 정확한 오차평가를 할 수 없다. 여기서는 수치등각사상을 구하기 위한 해법중 하나인 Wegmann 방법을 다루는데 저자는 수렴하는 문제의 범위를 넓히기 위해 저주파필터를 적용한 알고리즘을 제안한바 있다. 본 논문에서는 몇 가지 수학적 이론에 근거하여 저주파필터를 적용한 Wegmann해법에서 참값을 모르더라도 오차평가를 할 수 있는 방법을 제안하고 수치실험을 통해 그 유효성을 입증한다.
