  • In this paper, we are concerned with abstract random linear operators on probabilistic unitary spaces which are a generalization of generalized random linear operators on a Hilbert space defined in [25]. The representation theorem for abstract random bounded linear operators and some results on the adjoint of abstract random linear operators are given.

  • The present paper is devoted to self-adjoint cyclically compact operators on Hilbert-Kaplansky module over a ring of bounded measurable functions. The spectral theorem for such a class of operators is given. We use more simple and constructive method, which allowed to apply this result to compact operators relative to von Neumann algebras. Namely, a general form of compact operators relative to a type I von Neumann algebra is given.

  • Let $\mathcal{B}(H)$ and $\mathcal{B}(K)$ denote the algebras of all bounded linear operators on Hilbert spaces $\mathcal{H}$ and $\mathcal{K}$, respectively. We show that if ${\phi}:\mathcal{B}(H){\rightarrow}\mathcal{B}(K)$ is an additive mapping satisfying ${\phi}({\mid}A{\mid}^2)={\mid}{\phi}(A){\mid}^2$ for every $A{\in}\mathcal{B}(H)$, then there exists a mapping ${\psi}$ defined by ${\psi}(A)={\phi}(I){\phi}(A)$, ${\forall}A{\in}\mathcal{B}(H)$ such that ${\psi}$ is the sum of $two^*$-homomorphisms one of which C-linear and the othere C-antilinear. We will also study some conditions implying the injective and rank-preserving of ${\psi}$.

  • Let $\mathcal{S}^{\prime}(\mathbb{R})$ be the dual of the Schwartz spaces $\mathcal{S}(\mathbb{R})$), A be a self-adjoint operator in $L^2(\mathbb{R})$ and ${\Gamma}(A)^*$ be the adjoint operator of ${\Gamma}(A)$ which is the second quantization operator of A. It is proven that under a suitable condition on A there exists a nuclear subspace $\mathcal{S}$ of a fundamental space $\mathcal{S}_A$ of Hida's type on $\mathcal{S}^{\prime}(\mathbb{R})$) such that ${\Gamma}(A)\mathcal{S}{\subset}\mathcal{S}$ and $e^{-t{\Gamma}(A)}\mathcal{S}{\subset}\mathcal{S}$, which enables us to show that a stochastic differential equation: $$dX(t)=dW(t)-{\Gamma}(A)^*X(t)dt$$, arising from the central limit theorem for spatially extended neurons has an unique solution on the dual space $\mathcal{S}^{\prime}$ of $\mathcal{S}$.

  • In this paper, we introduce the reverse of the operator Davis-Choi-Jensen's inequality. Our results are employed to establish a new bound for the Furuta inequality. More precisely, we prove that, if $A,\;B{\in}{\mathcal{B}}({\mathcal{H}})$ are self-adjoint operators with the spectra contained in the interval [m, M] with m < M and A ≤ B, then for any $r{\geq}{\frac{1}{t}}>1,\,t{\in}(0,\,1)$ $A^r{\leq}({\frac{M1_{\mathcal{H}}-A}{M-m}}m^{rt}+{\frac{A-m1_{\mathcal{H}}}{M-m}}M^{rt}){^{\frac{1}{t}}}{\leq}K(m,\;M,\;r)B^r,$ where K (m, M, r) is the generalized Kantorovich constant.

  • In this paper, we establish results about operators similar to their adjoints. This is carried out in the setting of bounded and also unbounded operators on a Hilbert space. Among the results, we prove that an unbounded closed operator similar to its adjoint, via a cramped unitary operator, is self-adjoint. The proof of this result works also as a new proof of the celebrated result by Berberian on the same problem in the bounded case. Other results on similarity of hyponormal unbounded operators and their self-adjointness are also given, generalizing well known results by Sheth and Williams.

  • In this paper, making use of symmetric differential operator, we introduce a new class of ℓ-symmetric - mutually adjoint functions. To make this study more comprehensive and versatile, we have used a differential operator involving three-parameter extension of the well-known Mittag-Leffler functions. Mainly we investigated the inclusion relation and subordination conditions which are the main results of the paper. To establish connections or relations with earlier studies, we have presented applications of main results as corollaries.

  • Let A be a positive bounded linear operator acting on a complex Hilbert space (𝓗, ⟨·,·⟩). Let ωA(T) and ║T║A denote the A-numerical radius and the A-operator seminorm of an operator T acting on the semi-Hilbert space (𝓗, ⟨·,·⟩A), respectively, where ⟨x, y⟩A := ⟨Ax, y⟩ for all x, y ∈ 𝓗. In this paper, we show with different techniques from that used by Kittaneh in [24] that $$\frac{1}{4}{\parallel}T^{{\sharp}_A}T+TT^{{\sharp}_A}{\parallel}_A{\leq}{\omega}^2_A(T){\leq}\frac{1}{2}{\parallel}T^{{\sharp}_A}T+TT^{{\sharp}_A}{\parallel}_A.$$ Here T#A denotes a distinguished A-adjoint operator of T. Moreover, a considerable improvement of the above inequalities is proved. This allows us to compute the 𝔸-numerical radius of the operator matrix $\(\array{I&T\\0&-I}\)$ where 𝔸 = diag(A, A). In addition, several A-numerical radius inequalities for semi-Hilbert space operators are also established.

  • The study of self-adjoint operator algebras on Hilbert space is well established, with a long history including some of the strongest mathematicians of the twentieth century. By contrast, non-self-adjoint CSL-algebras, particularly reflexive algebras, are only begins to be studied by W. B. Wrveson [1] 1974.
