Conceptual Design of 154kv, 3GVA Class Superconducting Power Cable (154kV, 3GVA급 초전도 송전케이블의 개념설계)

  • A superconducting power cable is one of the promising ways for transmitting huge electric power efficiently in the future. We performed a conceptual design of 154kV, 3GVA class superconducting power cable. The AC loss of superconductor was estimated by using the Bean model. The cross sectional area of stabilizer was calculated under the adiabatic condition. In this paper, the results of the conceptual design of superconducting power cable is described.

  • The stabilization of the conductor in superconducting power cable is very important from the view point of protection. In this study, critical thicknesses of superconducting layer of $Nb_{3}Sn$ conductor and stabilizer Cu have been estimated under the adiabatic condition. The bending stress of $Nb_{3}Sn$/SUS composite superconducting tape on the curvature radius was also evaluated.

  • In order to study the basic I-V behavior and quench characteristics, we fabricated two kinds of small superconducting coils which were wound with different superconductors. In this study, it was made clear that the propagation. velocity of normal zone preferentially depends on the operation current rather than heat pulse energy and also increases exponentially with respect to operation current.

  • The rheological properties of the aqueous solution of scleroglucan industrially produced by Sclerotium rolfsii at concentrations ranging from 0.1 % to 2 % (w/w) were determined by using brookfield viscometer and rheometer. Gel matrices of scleroglucans were stable over a wide range of pH and ionic strength in the aqueous medium. In the oil dispersion with phytosqualane in oil phase and three kinds of thickening agent in aqueous phase, scleroglucan showed the highest dispersion properties. The synergistic effect between scleroglucan and locust bean gum was also examined. The highest viscosity was obtained for the solution mixture at scleroglucan/locust bean gum weight ratio of 5 : 5. The results of this study suggest the potential of scleroglucan as thickner for a wide variety of cosmetic formulations.

Research with Statistical Model to Analyze Efficiency of Heavy Metal Soil Washing (통계학적 모델을 이용한 중금속 토양 세척의 효율 분석에 관한 연구)

  • In soil washing, there are many variables including types of reagent and contaminant, washing time, soil-liquid ratio, washing cycles, washing agent concentrations, and etc. To identify the most influencing factors on soil washing process, regression analysis was performed for eight single variables and five combined variables. A quantitative model that employs W/H (molar ratio of washing agent to heavy metal) as a major variable was established based on the regression. The validity of the model was demonstrated by conducting lab experiments with Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni and As-contaminated soils, and various washing reagents including acetic acid, citric acid, malic acid, oxalic acid, ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA) and nitriloacetic acid (NTA). The washing efficiencies were compared with the EDTA washing data reported in the literature. The correlation between W/H and removal efficiency was analyzed after dividing data into two groups according to the heavy metal mobility.

  • Currently, a majority of artificial intelligence is used to secure big data; however, it is concentrated in a few of major companies. Therefore, automatic data augmentation and efficient learning algorithms for small-scale data will become key elements in future artificial intelligence competitiveness. In addition, it is necessary to develop a technique to learn meanings, correlations, and time-related associations of complex modal knowledge similar to that in humans and expand and transfer semantic prediction/knowledge inference about unknown data. To this end, a neural memory model, which imitates how knowledge in the human brain is processed, needs to be developed to enable knowledge expansion through modality cooperative learning. Moreover, declarative and procedural knowledge in the memory model must also be self-developed through human interaction. In this paper, we reviewed this essential methodology and briefly described achievements that have been made so far.

  • We isolated Actinomycetes strain No. 1882-5, which produces the inhibitor on the bleb formation of K562 cell induced by phorbol ester, from soil sample. Through solvent extraction, Amberlite XAD-4, silica and Lobar low pressure LC, antifungal antibiotic MT 1882-1 and bleb forming inhibitor MT 1882-II were purified from strain No. 1882-5. MT 1882-1 was identified as piericidin $A_{1}$($C_{25}H_{37}0_4N$, M.W. 415) and MT 1882-11 as glucopiericidin A($C_{31}H_{47}0_9N$, M.W. 577) from the analysis of physico-chemical properties and UV, $^1H-NMR$, $^13C-NMR$, and mass spectra of these compounds.

  • Sonolysis of TCE (Trichloroethylene) was performed in 584 kHz rectangular reactor. At first, the effect of acoustic power and aqueous temperature which are both important factors to operate ultrasound system on sonolysis of TCE were examined under one side irradiation condition. First degradation rate constants of TCE and chloride yields were increased with increasing acoustic power from 100 to 300 W. And increasing the aqeuous temperature resulted in the increase of first degradation rate constants of TCE and the decrease of chloride yield. Sonolysis of TCE was performed under multi ultrasound irradiation conditions that total acoustic power of 300 W was distributed according to the number of irradiation sides. First degradation rate constants of TCE followed the order 4 sides > 3 sides > 1 side > 2 sides (parallel) > 2 sides (orthogonal). When comparing the experimental results under parallel and orthogonal irradiation conditions of 2 sides with 300 and 450 W, first degradation rate constants of TCE were similar, while production rate constants of hydrogen peroxide were more higher at parallel conditions compared to orthogonal conditions.

Hydrogen Production from Tofu Manufacturing Wastewater by Heat-treated Anaerobic Microflora from the Concentrated Sewage Sludge (농축 하수오니 유래 열처리 혐기세균 복합체를 이용한 두부제조 폐수로부터 수소 생산)

  • 합성 및 두부 제조 폐수로부터 혐기 세균 복합체를 이용하여 수소를 생산하였다. 수소생산 혐기 세균 복합체는 하수처리장 농축 소화조에서 발생하는 슬러지를 $90^{\circ}C$에서 20분간 열처리하여 얻었다. 혐기 세균 복합체는 $37^{\circ}C$ 회분식 운전조건에서 1% (w/v) 포도당 함유 PYG (peptone-yeast extract-glucose) 배지로부터 1.15 L-$H_2$/g-균체건조량의 수소를 생산할 수 있었고, 이때 주요 유기산으로 15 mM acetate와 32 mM butyrate가 생성되었다. 같은 발효조건에서 1.4% 전분과 0.07% 환원당을 포함하는 두부 제조 폐수로부터 1.76 L $H_2$/L-두부제조폐수의 수소를 발생하였다. 이와 같은 결과로 부터 포도당과 두부 제조 폐수로부터 혐기세균 복합체에 의한 수소생산 효율은 각각 1.9과 0.9 mol $H_2$/mol 포도당을 나타내었다. 반연속운전(HRT, 12 시간)시 합성폐수를 이용하여 60일 이상 안정적으로 수소를 생산할 수 있었고, 이 때 혐기 세균 복합체는 1.3-2.0 L $H_2$/L-배양액을 발생하였다. PCR-DGGE(polymer chain reaction-denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis) 분석결과, 반응기 내 세균 복합체의 주요 미생물은 Clostridium 종이었다. 본 연구는 적절한 열처리를 통해 혐기 소화조 슬러지로부터 고활성 수소생산 세균 복합체를 얻을 수 있으며, 이들 세균 복합체를 이용하여 합성 및 두부제조 폐수로부터 효율적인 수소생산이 가능하다는 것을 나타내고 있다.

Established the Non-stop Cluster system that was the H/W side, L4 and the applied system which was the 3-tier structure and Firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS security control system, S/W side, that utilized the WAS MVC architecture used WAS and a SOA architecture. an ASP EAI function. A user and a manager, designs and constructor, the user efficiency who were an evaluation basis of a Verification commissioner, Ubiquitous evaluated system stability. Information security anger, and evaluated former system and comparison. Therefore is evaluated to the excellent Convention e-Portal Systems that a performance 25.9% improvement consisted of compare with the existing Convention e-Portal Systems, and will contribute so as to be able to carry out-driven enemy role in development of the industrial our country Convention Ubiquitous Internet IT information Industry and International Society Conventions.
