A cyclic shop is a production system that repeatedly produces identical sets of jobs, called minimal part sets, in the same loading and processing sequence. We consider a version of cyclic shop where the operations are processed and unloaded within time limits, so called a time window. We model the shop using an event graph model, a class of Petri nets. To represent the time window constraint, we introduce places with negative time delays. From the shop modeling graph, we develop a linear system model based on the max- plus algebra and characterize the conditions on the existence of a stable schedule.

For a sequence $\{{\eta}_m\}_m$ of unit vectors in $\mathbb{C}^n$, we consider the associated linear functional ${\omega}$ on the Cuntz algebra $\mathcal{O}_n$. We show that the restriction ${\omega}{\mid}_{UHF_n}$ is the product pure state of a subalgebra $UHF_n$ of $\mathcal{O}_n$ such that ${\omega}{\mid}_{UHF_n}={\otimes}{\omega}_m$ with ${\omega}_m({\cdot})$ < ${\cdot}{\eta}_m,{\eta}_m$ >. We study product pure states of UHF and obtain a concrete description of them in terms of unit vectors. We also study states of $UHF_n$ which is the restriction of the linear functionals on $O_n$ associated to a fixed unit vector in $\mathbb{C}^n$.

A new analytic framework based on a linear algebra approach is proposed for examining the performance of a direct sequence spread spectrum (DS/SS) slotted ALOHA wireless communication network systems with delay capture. The discrete-time Markov chain model has been introduced to account for the effect of randomized time of arrival (TOA) at the central receiver and determine the evolution of the finite population network performance in a single-hop environment. The proposed linear algebra approach applied to the given Markov problem requires only computing the eigenvector ${\prod}$ of the state transition matrix and then normalizing it to have the sum of its entries equal to 1. MATLAB computation results show that systems employing discrete TOA randomization and delay capture significantly improves throughput-delay performance and the employed analysis approach is quite easily and staightforwardly applicable to the current analysis problem.

Let A be a uniform algebra, and let $\phi$ be a self-map of the spectrum $M_A$ of A that induces a composition operator $C_{\phi}$, on A. It is shown that the image of $M_A$ under some iterate ${\phi}^n$ of \phi is hyperbolically bounded if and only if \phi has a finite number of attracting cycles to which the iterates of $\phi$ converge. On the other hand, the image of the spectrum of A under $\phi$ is not hyperbolically bounded if and only if there is a subspace of $A^{**}$ "almost" isometric to ${\ell}_{\infty}$ on which ${C_{\phi}}^{**}$ "almost" an isometry. A corollary of these characterizations is that if $C_{\phi}$ is weakly compact, and if the spectrum of A is connected, then $\phi$ has a unique fixed point, to which the iterates of $\phi$ converge. The corresponding theorem for compact composition operators was proved in 1980 by H. Kamowitz [17].

본 연구는 중등수학교육에서 도구화된 CAS에 기반한 최적화 문제해결 활동을 통해 CAS가 교육과정 내용제시 순서에 영향을 줄 수 있는지를 분석하기 위해 설계되었다. 이를 위하여 본 연구자는 CAS를 활용한 최적화 문제해결 활동을 구안하였으며 3개월간의 CAS 활용 수업 경험이 있으나 아직 미적분학을 접해 본 적이 없는 고등학교 2학년 7명을 선정하여 총 9차시의 수업을 실시하고, 수업녹화자료와 면담을 통해 학생들의 활동을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 학생들은 CAS를 이용하여 미 학습된 교육내용인 미분과 삼차방정식, 무리방정식의 해구하기와 그래프 분석이 포함된 최적화 문제해결활동을 수준 높게 다룰 수 있는 것으로 나타나 CAS가 교육과정 내용제시 순서에 영향을 줄 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

Kang and Ko introduced a skew-symmetrizable matrix to describe a structure theorem for complete intersections of grade 4. Let $R=k[w_0,\;w_1,\;w_2,\;{\ldots},\;w_m]$ be the polynomial ring over an algebraically closed field k with indetermiantes $w_l$ and deg $w_l=1$, and $I_i$ a homogeneous perfect ideal of grade 3 with type $t_i$ defined by a skew-symmetrizable matrix $G_i(1{\leq}t_i{\leq}4)$. We show that for m = 2 the Hilbert function of the zero dimensional standard k-algebra $R/I_i$ is determined by CI-sequences and a Gorenstein sequence. As an application of this result we show that for i = 1, 2, 3 and for m = 3 a Gorenstein sequence $h(R/H_i)=(1,\;4,\;h_2,\;{\ldots},\;h_s)$ is unimodal, where $H_i$ is the sum of homogeneous perfect ideals $I_i$ and $J_i$ which are geometrically linked by a homogeneous regular sequence z in $I_i{\cap}J_i$.

시간 속성을 갖는 이벤트 집합에서 동일한 이벤트 타입에 대한 이벤트 시퀀스는 하나의 이벤트로 요약될 수 있다. 그러나 정의된 시간 간격이 경과된 후 발생된 이벤트 타입은 하나 이상의 독립된 서브 이벤트 시퀀스로 요약하는 것이 바람직하다. 본 논문은 Allen의 시간 관계 대수에 기반하여 인터벌 이벤트를 요약하고, 요약된 인터벌 이벤트들로부터 인터벌 연관 규칙을 찾아내는 새로운 시간 데이터 마이닝 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 독립적인 서브 시퀀스 개념을 도입하고 인터벌 이벤트 사이의 연관 규칙을 탐사함으로써 질적으로 우수한 정보를 제공한다.

This paper continues a line investigation in [1]. Let A be a K-algebra and M an A/K-bimodule. In [5] Hamaguchi gave a necessary and sufficient condition for gDer(A, M) to be isomorphic to BDer(A, M). The main aim of this paper is to establish similar relationships for generalized ($\sigma$, $\tau$)-derivations.

In this paper we investigate some situations in connection with two exact sequences of fuzzy linear maps. Also we obtain a generalization of the work [Theorem4] of Pan [5], and we study the analogies of The Four Lemma and The Five Lemma of homological algebra. Finally we obtain a special exact sequence.

In this paper we compute the U-projective resolution of kQ-modules where Q is quiver of type $A_n$ and ${\tilde{A}}_n$. The behavior of the sequence can be seen through its geometric representation.
