This study is to implement a model of CPC-mentoring program based on the mentoring theory and research environment analysis as well as to present the operation case of teaching and learning in colleges. Major research results should use the practical research methods utilizing the statistical program in order to verify the effectiveness of the program of CPC-mentoring program by comparing the before with the after of running the CPC-mentoring program of the research objects, comparison group (61 people) and experiment group (33 people). After running the CPC-mentoring program, whether there was a certification's acquisition or not of the comparison group and the experiment group, a statistically significant difference between the comparison group 34.3% (21) and the experiment group 72.7% (24), (p<0.05) was shown. The goal of the students participating in the CPC-mentoring program was to help one another in order to obtain certification. moreover, by engaging in mutually developing human relationship activities thru various methods, such as adaptation of college life, development of sociality, graduation, etc., good cooperative relationships with one another as well as further development of the relationship was formed. CPC-mentoring program is neither doing only people that want nor being effective for people only that want. A successful matching will naturally lead to all success since mentoring is human relationships is the misunderstanding. The role of a mentoring coordinator(professor) for the operation of a successful CPC-mentoring program and for the application method of detailed CPC-mentoring program was set. In addition, by considering the connectivity with the counseling guidance (shared and individual guidance) of students, which is the characterization direction of technical department of the college, it is expected to make a positive contribution if utilized in a multilateral manner.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of the mentoring function and mentor trust on the intention to reparticipate in the mentoring program, focusing on university students in fashion related departments. To achieve the purpose, research was conducted through a survey questionnaire. The questionnaire data from 223 university students in fashion related departments who experienced mentoring programs were analyzed. SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 7.0 statistical packages were used to investigate a structural model and test research hypotheses. The results derived from the analysis of the questionnaire survey were summarized as follows. First, the result showed that the mentoring function was composed of three factors: a sensitivity developmental function, psychosocial function, and fashion career developmental function. Second, the sensitivity developmental function, psychosocial function, and fashion career developmental function positively affected mentor trust. Third, the sensitivity developmental function positively affected the intention to reparticipate in the mentoring program, while the psychosocial function and fashion career developmental function did not influence the intention to reparticipate in the mentoring program. Fourth, mentor trust positively influenced the intention to reparticipate in the mentoring program. The results of the current study would be useful for the professor and university administrator who would like to establish a mentoring program in a fashion related department, by exploring the relation of mentoring function, mentor trust and the intention to reparticipate in the mentoring program.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the monitoring experience of nursing students and to suggest considerations when developing mentoring programs. Methods: This qualitative study was conducted by online surveys and individual interviews with 7 nursing students who participated in the health promotion program as mentors. Data were analyzed using qualitative content analysis to identify motives for participating in mentoring and to explore their changes through mentoring. Results: The results were as follows: Motives for participating were 'inquisitiveness about children', 'interest in mentoring activities' and 'curiosity about research'. Recognition of mentor roles were 'actively involved guide', 'exemplary role model' and 'empathetic emotional supporter'. Changes through mentoring experiences were revealed by 'understanding the characteristics of children', 'improvement of interaction ability with children', 'understanding self and changes' and 'recognition of excellence in forest activities'. Conclusion: Nursing students had opportunities to learn the characteristics of general children and to understand themselves through natural interaction. Participation in mentoring has the potential to be a creative educational method of field learning as a form of service learning.
Purpose & Method : To describe medical students' need on the mentoring program and relationship with career choice, 186/251 (74.1%) of first-and second-year medical students at Yonsei University College of Medicine. Seoul. Korea were surveyed. Result : 66.1% of medical students replied that he/she would volunteer as a mentee in mentoring program. Medical students' need area in mentoring program was specialty choice (62.9%). research development(18.8%), adapting to school life (13.9%) and effective learning skill (2.7%). 47.2% of medical students replied that his/her wishful career and working place is university faculty. The purpose of this study was to develop a mentoring program to support the professional growth of new nurses and to check the effectiveness. This mentoring program was developed by research teams and mentoring professionals based on Benner's theory. The data was analyzed using SPSS 18.0 program. The average of satisfaction of mentoring program in the mentees is 4.31 higher than mentor as 3.77. The highest scored item was 'need of mentoring program', the lowest one was 'mentoring program period and number of meetings'. Finally based on the results of the research, the duration of the mentoring program was changed to the six months. A steady support of the organizational policy about mentoring program is required to secure an outstanding nursing workforce.
Mentoring as a human resources development program is being reconceptualized because of the rapidly shifting work environment which has been recently focused on the necessity of knowledge management. That is, new mentoring network theory as a reconceptualization of mentoring is structured by researchers who have related social network theory and mentoring and they have discovered that the development of individual and organizational is built by the relationships of multiple selves. In their paper, they have asserted that an individual's developmental stage is an important antecedent to the nature of mentoring and developmental networks that are possible. Further, they are suggesting that mentoring developmental network is a key tool for learning, development, and successful performance outcomes in challenging assignments. This paper aims to describe the next empirical research plan that will investigate the developmental stage of teachers as an antecedent of mentoring network. An introduction and background to the research will be explained to provide a conceptual framework for the next study.
Although it has been noted that mentoring program is viewed as a effective way of intervention for the youth at-risk and vulnerable, few empirical studies have documented the benefits of mentoring program on youth. This research focused on effectiveness of campus-based mentoring program for children of unemployed families. It examined psychosocial benefits of mentoring program on mentor and mentee using the experimental design, posttest-only control group design. Significant differences were found between the control and intervention group. Children who have participated in mentoring program marked higher scores than control group in various psychosocial aspects including interpersonal skills, self-efficacy, sense of plan and motivation of schooling. Also university students who have participated as mentors marked higher ego-strength score than not. On the basis of these findings, this study recommended campus-based mentoring program as a effective growth-oriented program for the university students as well as the children of unemployed families.

The purpose his study was a descriptive research study to identify the influencing factors of mentoring for nursing students, and was conducted with 120 nursing students. The collected data were subjected to real number and percentage, mean and standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS/WIN 25.0. As a result of the study, mentoring was found to have a significant positive correlation with organizational socialization, core nursing competency, and clinical performance competency, and the explanatory power of the regression model was 64.1%. Since mentoring is an effective teaching method, based on this study, we propose a study to develop a structured mentoring program including organizational socialization, core nursing competency, and clinical performance competency to test the effectiveness. In addition, proposes a study to identify the relationship with various variables by dividing mentoring into sub-competencies of career development function, psychological stability function, and role model function.

The instruction based on mass production system has contributed to the materialistic abundance, but it caused the innate target of education, development of 'holistic human beings' to be lost. Accordingly, the mentoring has been highlighted as an alternative instructional method because it can support learners in the aspect of cognitive and affective domain. On the other hand, as an effort of overcoming time and place constraints of face-to-face mentoring, e-mentoring is being required. This research aims to propose the e-mentoring system design plan for guiding learning after school, which may support face-to-face mentoring. Based on literature reviews, the direction of design was set and the necessary functions were drawn. e-Mentoring system design plan proposed in this article may be helpful to practitioners who are interested in the enhancement of effectiveness and efficiency of mentoring programs. Also it is required that more practical study should be performed for developing the system and testing its effectiveness.
The purpose of this article described the effects of mentoring program to the underachiever's attitude in learning Mathematics. In order to do this research, a mentoring class had been carried out for 30 weeks, with two students who was underachievers in mathematics. It was carried out contrastive analysis on the student's learning attitude in the math class before and after the mentoring, using a questionnaire of learning attitude in math with 40 questions, filling the blanks in sentence, recording files of class, and mentoring journals. As a result, before taking the mentoring class, students who were participated in the mentoring program were negative and low in five subordinate concepts(learning attitude, such as their tendency, interest, desire, confidence, attitude, and studying habits in math). However, after the mentoring class, the two students were remarkably changed in positive way on the five concepts in learning mathematics. Therefore, it is helpful to underachievers in mathematics if the mentoring program is used since it yields a positive impact on the learning attitude.
