PL 리더십 성향과 프로젝트 특성요인이 프로젝트 참여 만족 및 성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of PL Leadership and Characteristics of Project on Project Participants' Satisfaction and Performance)

  • The study was originated from recognition that project participants' satisfaction should be Improved to raise project performance and to make progress of a successful project since the above dissatisfaction was operated as a danger factor of the project. The study selected one large-scale sample project and attempted measuring characteristics of the project, participants' satisfaction and project performance with the whole project participants. The study analyzed correlations between individual level (team members) and group level (development team), and examined what effect a sub project manager under complicated hierarchical organization of the large-scale project, namely PL (project leader)'s leadership style had on each individual project participant's satisfaction and what effect project uncertainty in organization/technology environment had on project participants' satisfaction and project performance. The study verified that development team (group) had an effect on team member (individual)-level project participants' satisfaction by disclosing that there was a significant dispersion among groups within project participants' satisfaction by each individual. It is analyzed that it is necessary to make improvement through approach by each pertinent team to raise individual-level project participants' satisfaction. The study also verified PL's ideal leadership under strict methodology and hierarchical control of the large-scale project. Based on the verification of the hypotheses, the results of the analysis were produced as follows. First, the development team affects the satisfaction level that an individual has when he/she participates in a project. This suggests that the satisfaction with project participation should be improved at the team level. In addition, the project management style and leadership orientation of the manager of a sub project who is mostly affected by the team proved to have a direct influence on the satisfaction with project participation and project performances. Second, both the performance-oriented leadership and the relationship-oriented leadership of the PL of the development team were verified to have a significant effect on the satisfaction of the team members associated with project participation. In other words, when the team members recognize that the PL of the development team shows both the performance-oriented leadership and the relationship-oriented leadership, their satisfaction with project participation increases accordingly. Third, it was verified that the uncertainty of the organizational environment significantly affects the satisfaction level when the PL of the development team exerts a relationship-oriented and performance-oriented leadership. The higher the uncertainty of the organizational environment is, the more the satisfaction with project participation decreases whereas the relationship-oriented leadership has a more positive effect on the satisfaction than the performance-oriented leadership style. Fourth, when the PL of the development team exerts the relationship-related and performance-related leadership, the uncertainty of the technological environment has a significant influence on the satisfaction level. The higher the uncertainty of the technological environment is, the more the satisfaction with project participation decreases whereas the performance-oriented leadership has a more positive effect on the satisfaction than the relationship-oriented leadership style. The result of the research on the uncertainty of the project environment suggests that when the development team leader exerts a relationship-oriented and performance-oriented leadership style, the uncertainty of the organizational environment has a significant effect on the satisfaction with project participation; the higher the uncertainty of the organizational environment, the more the satisfaction level decreases, and the relationship-oriented leadership style affects the satisfaction level more positively than the performance-oriented leadership style. In addition, when the development team leader displays a relationship-oriented and performance-oriented leadership style, the uncertainty of the technological environment has a significant effect on the satisfaction with project participation; the higher the uncertainty of the technological environment. the more the satisfaction level decreases. The performance-oriented leadership style as well affects the satisfaction level more positively than the relationship-oriented leadership style. Based on the above results, the research provides the following implications when handling multiple concurrent projects. First, the satisfaction with the participation in the multiple concurrent projects needs to be enhanced at the team (group) level. Second. the manager of the project team, particularly the middle managers should have both a performance-oriented and relationship (task and human)-oriented attitude and exert a consolidated leadership in order to improve the satisfaction of team members with project participation and their performances. Third, as the uncertainty factor of the technological and organizational environment among the characteristics factors of the project has room for methodological improvement depending on one's effort even though there are some complications, we need to continuously prevent and control the risks resulting from the uncertainties of the technological and organizational environment of the project in order to enhance the satisfaction of project participation and project performances. Fourth, the performance (task)-oriented leadership is required when there is uncertainty in a technological environment while the relationship (human)-oriented leadership is required when there is uncertainty in an organizational environment. This research has the following limitations. First, this research intended to select one large-sized sample project and measure the project characteristics, the satisfaction of all the participants associated with project participation, and their performances. Therefore, it is inappropriate to generalize and apply the result of this result onto other numerous projects. Second, as this case study entailed a survey to measure the characteristics factors and performance of the project, since the result value was based on the perception of project team members, the data may have insufficient objectivity. Third, though this research targeted on all the project participants, some development teams did not provide sufficient data and questionnaires were collected from some specific development teams among the 23 development teams, causing a significant deviation in the response rate among the development teams. Therefore, we need to continuously conduct the follow-up researches making comparisons among the multiple projects, and centering on the characteristics factors of the project and its satisfaction level.

시뮬레이션기반 고유량산소요법 교육 프로그램이 임상간호사의 지식, 임상수행능력 및 교육만족도에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of a Simulation-Based High Flow Nasal Cannula Oxygen Therapy Training Program on the Knowledge, Clinical Performance and Educational Satisfaction of Clinical Nurses)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to develop a simulation-based High Flow Nasal Cannula Oxygen Therapy training program based on NLN/ISF to identify the effect on knowledge, clinical performance, and educational satisfaction compared to a group who had traditional High Flow Nasal Cannula Oxygen Therapy training after applying it to clinical nurses. Methods: 31 experimental groups and 33 control groups were conducted from August 2019 to September 2019 for inexperienced nurses over 4 months to 5 years with no experience using high-flow oxygen therapy. Educational programs were developed in scenarios according to Airvo2 and Optiflow, such as facilitator, participant, educational condition, design, characteristics, and educational outcomes. The education application was conducted in advanced for knowledge and clinical performance ability after watching therapy video. Since then, a total of 90 minutes have been conducted for respiratory failure theory training, airvo2 and optiflow simulation training, and debriefing. After applying the education, the medical institution measured nurses' knowledge, clinical performance, and education satisfaction. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, with the SPSS/WIN 22.0 program. Results: Both knowledge and educational satisfaction were higher in the experimental group than in the control group (t=-14.09, p<.001), (t=-12.99, p<.001). The clinical performance for both use of Optiflow and Airvo2 were higher in the experimental group than in the control group (t=-11.39, p<.001), (t=-11.38, p<.001). Conclusion: Results showed that the simulation-based High Flow Nasal Cannula Oxygen Therapy training was effective with the experimental group having increased scores for every area of this study.

자활사업이 참여자의 자립의지 및 만족도에 미치는 영향 -울산광역시 자활참여자 중심으로- (The effect of Self-sufficiency Project on Participants' Self-reliance and Satisfaction -Focusing on Self-sufficiency Participants in Ulsan Metropolitan City-)

  • 본 논문의 목적은 울산광역시 지역자활센터의 자활사업이 참여자들의 자립의지, 참여 만족도에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 한다. 연구 대상은 울산광역시 5개 구·군 자활참여자들에게 설문지를 2020년 10월 1일부터 30일까지 조사하여 최종 233부가 분석에 사용되었다. 연구결과, 첫째, 정부나 지자체, 행정복지센터에 대한 지원 정도 조사 결과, 긍정적 답변(보통 포함) 비율이 71.7%로 양호한 것으로 파악되었다. 둘째, 향후 지원받고 싶은 서비스에 대한 응답으로 생계비 지원, 보건 의료비 지원 등 순으로 나타났으며, 성별 차이 분석 결과 자녀 교육비 지원과 주택자금 지원은 유의미한 차이로 확인되었다. 참여자의 심리적 자립의지 요인 중 근로의욕이 가장 많은 변화 요인으로, 자신감, 자아 통제력 순으로 조사되었다. 참여 만족도는 전반적으로 불만족스럽지 않은 것으로 나타났으며, 급여, 근무시간 등 9가지 만족도 항목 중 일에 대한 전반적인 만족도가 가장 높게 나타났다.

The Clinical Effect with the Use of Gel Anesthesia within Gingival Sulcus during Scaling

  • Although scaling is the primary method for improving oral health, it is also associated with dental fear. The objective of this study was to empirically verify whether the use of gel anesthetic within the gingival sulcus during scaling relieves pain and improves other factors. A total of 128 patients scheduled to undergo scaling at a dental clinic of a general hospital located in the Gyeonggi Province, between July 2014 and July 2015, were enrolled in the study. The participants underwent scaling following the application of 20% benzocaine gel or placebo gel anesthetic within the gingival sulcus, and the data was collected using a questionnaire. There was a significant difference in the severity of pain, participant satisfaction, perceived sensitivity, overall discomfort, and fear of scaling between the two groups. The two groups were compared in terms of perceived need for gel anesthesia, willingness to pay for anesthesia costs, and willingness to receive scaling in the future. There were significant differences in all the three parameters depending on whether gel anesthesia was used or not. There were significant differences between the two groups in perceived sensitivity immediately after scaling and one day after scaling, with no difference seen one week after scaling. With regards to overall discomfort over time, there were significant differences between the two groups immediately after scaling. Based on these findings, we expect that application of gel anesthetic within the gingival sulcus during scaling will reduce pain, perceived sensitivity, overall discomfort, and fear of scaling with increased satisfaction.

독서치료를 통한 대학생의 행복지수 제고에 관한 연구 (The Effect of Bibliotherapy on the Happiness Index of University Students)

  • 본 연구에서는 대학생들을 대상으로 하여 행복지수를 제고할 수 있는 독서치료 프로그램을 계획하여 실시하고 평가하였다. 본 연구에서 밝혀진 중요한 사실은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 독서치료를 통하여 행복지수를 제고할 수 있다. 세부적 요소별로 살펴보면 삶의 만족도 제고의 효과가 가장 확실하고, 긍정적 감정의 제고 측면은 유의미한 효과가 있으며, 부정적 감정을 감소시키기는 힘든 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 기존의 국내 문헌에서 많이 다루어진 독서치료 메커니즘 즉 동일시, 카타르시스, 통찰을 통한 치유 효과 외에도 행복해지는 데 도움을 줄 수 있는 스킬 즉 명상, 기도, 현재에 집중하기, 그리고 기타 마음관리 기법의 학습 및 실시를 통하여 치유 효과를 가져올 수 있다. 셋째, 독서능력이 뛰어난 대학생을 대상으로 독서치료를 시행하는 경우, 치유서를 선택함에 있어 참여자의 자율성을 고려할 필요가 있다.

댄스스포츠 참여 노인의 참여동기, 심리적행복감, 지속의도의 관계 (Relation between Motivation, Psychological Euphoria and Adherence Intention in Elders)

  • 본 연구는 댄스스포츠 참여 노인을 대상으로 참여 동기와 심리적 행복감 그리고 참여지속의도와의 관계를 규명하여 댄스스포츠 참여를 유도하고, 노인들의 지속적인 활동을 통해 건강하고 행복한 삶을 영위시키고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구의 자료를 확보하기 위하여 전라북도 J시와 K시에 소재한 노인복지회관과 보건소에서 댄스스포츠 프로그램에 참여하고 있는 노인 263명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였으며, 설문지 중 부적절하거나 미완성 된 질문 응답지 14부를 제외하고 최종분석 자료는 249명의 자료가 사용되었다. 수집된 설문지는 통계 프로그램인 SPSS Version 18.0 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였다. 자료 분석 방법은 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석, 상관관계 분석 및 다중회귀분석, 3단계 매개회귀분석을 실시하였다. 이상의 연구절차와 자료 분석결과를 기초로 본 연구에서는 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 참여 동기의 하위요인 건강지향과 취미오락지향은 심리적 행복감의 하위요인 성취감과 만족감에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 참여 동기의 하위요인 건강지향과 취미오락지향은 참여지속의도에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 심리적 행복감의 하위요인 성취감, 만족감은 참여지속의도에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 심리적 행복감은 참여 동기와 참여지속의도의 향상을 촉진하는 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다.

부모와 교사의 평정에 기반한 학생정서·행동특성검사에 대한 인식 조사 (Awareness of Students' Emotional and Behavioral Screening Test based on Parental and Teacher Ratings)

  • Objectives: Since 2013, the Students' Emotional and Behavioral Screening Test (SEBT) has been conducted annually for 1st grade and 4th grade elementary school students, 1st year middle school students, and 1st year high school students. The SEBT has been considered to have effectiveness and strength for screening high risk students who have a strong possibility of harboring emotional or behavioral problems in school. Therefore, in this study, we conducted an investigation into the awareness of the SEBT based on the rating score of the parents and teachers to determine its future direction and management. Methods: A total of 731 parents and 149 teachers participated in this study. Each participant completed a self-administered questionnaire on their awareness of the SEBT. Results: 428 (58.5%) parents and 99 (66.4%) teachers rated their overall satisfaction at more than 4 points out of a total of 5 points. The test reliability was rated at more than 4 points out of a total of 5 points by 52.1% of the parents (n=381) and 47.7% of the teachers (n=71). Conclusion: Both parents and teachers consider the SEBT to be highly satisfactory and reliable.

감성적 인터페이스 디자인을 위한 스토리텔링 접근 (A Storytelling approach to user affective interface design)

  • 산업의 각 분야에서 사용자에 대한 감성적 접근이 중요시되어 가는 추세 속에서 소비 경향에 영향을 주는 핵심 요인으로 단순한 기능을 넘어서는 감성적 요인이 크게 대두되고 있다. 하지만 인터페이스에 관련된 대부분의 연구들이 아직 논리적 정보설계와 사용자의 인지적 반응에만 중점을 두고 있을 뿐이다. 본 연구는 사용자 인터페이스에 스토리텔링을 적용시킴으로써 사용자들의 감성적 경험에 대한 새로운 개선 방안을 제시하고 검증 하고자 하였다. 80명의 실험참가자들을 대상으로 논리적 접근 방식을 적용한 두 종류의 인터페이스들과 스토리텔링 방식을 적용한 두 종류의 인터페이스들을 사용하게 한 후 실험참가자들의 감성적 경험, 만족도, 편리성을 측정하였다. 실험 결과, 사용자들은 스토리텔링을 적용한 인터페이스에 대해 더 높은 감성적경험, 만족도와 사용 편리성을 표시하였다. 또한 이러한 결과는 사용자의 개인의 감성강도에 따라 더욱 뚜렷이 나타났다. 감성 강도가 높은 사용자들은 스토리텔링을 적용한 인터페이스에서 감성 강도가 낮은 사용자들에 비해 더 강한 감성적 경험을 하고 더 높은 수준의 만족도를 표시하는 것으로 나타났다.

일개 어린이병원의 프리셉터 교육과정 개발과 효과 평가 (The development and evaluation of a pediatric nurse preceptor education program in a children's hospital)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of a preceptor educational program in a children's hospital. The program's impact was assessed by measuring improvements in clinical competency, communication competency, and leadership competency. Methods: Four day pediatric nurse preceptor education program was developed using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. A single-group pretest-posttest design was employed to assess the program's effects with seventeen participants who were newly trained preceptors. Additionally, participant satisfaction with the program was measured. Results: Following the implementation of the program, significant improvements were observed in clinical competency (Z=-3.62, p<.001), communication competency (Z=-2.77, p=.006), leadership competency (Z=-2.08, p=.038), other competence (Z=-2.64, p=.008), and total competency (Z=-3.52, p<.001) among participants. The overall satisfaction score was 4.41±0.62 on a 5-point scale. Conclusion: The pediatric nurse preceptor educational program significantly enhances the overall nursing competencies of preceptor nurses in a children's hospital. Further research is needed to evaluate the effects of this preceptorship on newly graduated nurses.

장애인의 차량 탑승 시 휠체어 수납에 대한 만족도 조사 (The Research of People with Disabilities Satisfaction about Loading Wheelchair while Boarding on Vehicle)

  • 본 조사는 휠체어를 사용하는 장애인이 차량을 탑승할 때 휠체어 수납에 대한 불편함을 파악하여, 향후 관련 제품 개발에 개념설계를 하고자 실시하였다. 연구는 수동휠체어를 사용하고 있으며, 자가 운전을 할 수 있는 장애인 50명을 대상으로 직접 면담하는 설문조사 방식으로 실시하였다. 그 결과 설문에 참여한 88%의 장애인이 차량에 휠체어를 수납할 수 있는 보조 장치의 개발이 필요하다고 응답하였다. 이러한 장치로써 차량 트렁크에서 로봇팔이 차량의 운전석 문까지 나와서 휠체어를 트렁크에 수납하는 방법을 가장 선호하였다.
