종합병원에서 조직문화와 조직유효성과의 관계 (The Relationship of Organizational Culture and Organizational Effectiveness at the General Hospital)

  • Objectives: Organizational culture has beer important in field of organizational behavior research for the past decade. Although there has been a growing interest in the organizational culture and organizational effectiveness, there is few research in health care field. This study was carried out to investigate the relationship of organizational culture and organizational effectiveness at general hospital. Methods: Data was collected by self-administrated questionares. Organizational cultures were measured by using Likert scale. A general hospital in Kyunggi-Do was selected and survey was conducted to 675 workers. Data was analyzed with computer package, PC-SPSS. Results: There were four types of organizational culture in this hospital consensual culture, developmental culture, hierarchical culture, rational culture. Many workers recognized their culture as rational culture and developmental culture. This finding showed that the hospital had both human related and task related climate. There were some differences in recognition of sub-organizational culture by occupational group, but perceived organizational culture was in accordance with sub-organizational culture in general. Multiple regression analysis and multiple logistic regression analysis were conducted to find the relationship of organizational culture and organizational effectiveness. As a result, developmental culture showed a strong relationship with organizational commitment and job-satisfaction. Conclusions: These results showed that types of organizational culture were significantly related to organizational effectiveness and understanding the existing culture is essential to develope their organizational effectiveness.

  • 본 연구는 한국 사회와 기업 경영의 주요 이슈가 되고 있는 ESG 경영 활동과 조직공정성에 대한 영향 관계와 조직공정성이 조직신뢰, 조직동일시에 미치는 영향 관계를 검증하였다. 또한, ESG 활동 인식과 조직신뢰 및 조직동일시 간의 관계에서 조직공정성의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 기업체 종사 종업원의 재직회사의 ESG 활동에 대한 인식은 조직공정성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것이 확인되었다. 둘째, 종업원의 조직공정성 인식은 종업원의 조직신뢰와 조직동일시에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것이 확인되었다. 셋째, 종업원의 ESG 활동 인식과 조직신뢰와 조직동일시 간의 영향 관계에서 조직공정성의 매개효과를 확인하였다. 이에 따라, ESG 활동 강화와 회사의 제도적 관행 개선을 통한 조직공정성을 높여서, 조직의 경쟁력 강화를 위한 종업원의 긍정적 태도와 행동을 이끌어 내어야 할 것이다.

교사가 인식하는 교사발달과 조직갈등이 학교조직효과성에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Teachers' Development and Organizational Conflicts on School Organizational Efficiency)

  • The purposes of this study are to analysis correlations of teachers' developments, organizational conflicts, and school organizational efficiency, and to test the influences of teachers' developments and organizational conflicts on school organizational efficiency. The data were collected from 240 elementary school teachers in Busan. Pearson's correlation analysis among sub-factors and stepwised multiple regression analysis were applied. The research findings are as follows: First, most of the sub-factors of teachers' developments, organizational conflict, and organizational efficiency had statistically significant correlations, showing positive correlation between sub-factors of teachers' developments and organizational efficiency and negative correlation between sub-factors of organizational conflicts and organizational efficiency. Second, through stepwised multiple regression analysis at the significance level of 5%, 'conflicts against administrator' was the most significant predictor with 31.4% explanation of the variance of organizational efficiency. These results suggest the necessity of training to promote teachers' developments and administrators' leadership.

Impact of Organizational Justice and Perceived Organizational Support on Effectiveness of Police Crime Control

  • The main purpose of the research is to examine impact of organizational justice and perceived organizational support on effectiveness of crime control in police organizations. This research employs a survey questionnaire to measure organizational justice, perceived organizational support, and effectiveness of crime control. The number of subject of the study is 285 police officers working in Daegu metropolitan city and some cities of Gyeongsangbuk-do province. The study employs regression analysis to analyze the effect of organizational justice and perceived organizational support on police performance. As the result of analysis, the effect of organizational justice on effectiveness of crime control is statistically significant at the level 0.01, perceived organizational support at the level 0.05. The key finding of this study is that in the performance-based management system, the reciprocal relationships between managers and individual officers with organizational justice and perceived organizational support play an important role in building a sustainable growth system in the police.

조직공정성이 조직냉소주의를 통해 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Organizational Justice on OCB through Organizational Cynicism)

  • The purpose of the present is to investigate the relation of organizational cynicism to organizational justice and OCB(organizational citizenship behavior). Questionnaire data were collected from 265 employees. To test the hypotheses, structural equation model was employed. The model showed adequate fit to the data. Results showed that organizational justice(distributive justice and procedural justice) were negatively related to organizational cynicism. Also, results supported the hypothesized relationship between organizational cynicism and organizational citizenship behavior(OCBIs and OCBOs). And organizational justice indirectly influences OCB through organizational cynicism as expected. Implications are discussed and future research directions are outlined.

전략적 인적자원관리관행과 조직시민행동 및 고객지향성 간의 관계에 관한 연구 - 조직지원인식의 매개효과를 중심으로- (A Study about the Effects of Strategic Human Resource Management Practices on Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Customer Orientation - Focused on the Mediating Effect of Perceived Organizational Support -)

  • This study is focused on analyzing whether strategic human resource management practices influence organizational effectiveness such as organizational citizenship behavior and customer orientation. In addition, it also aims to analyze the mediating effect of perceived organizational support between strategic human resource management practices and organizational citizenship behavior and customer orientation. The samples are from five Veterans Hospital and of 344 questionnaires collected, 311 were used in the final analysis. SPSS(18.0) and AMOS(16.0) were employed to describe data and test hypotheses. The findings are as follows: First of all, it is found that education and training and hiring management have positive effects on perceived organizational support while only education and training has a positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior. Secondly, results reveal that career management and hiring management influences customer orientation while only perceived organizational support does organizational citizenship behavior and customer orientation affects organizational citizenship behavior. Thirdly, it is also found that perceived organizational support mediates the relationship between career management and organizational citizenship behavior and that between hiring management and organizational citizenship behavior. In other words, perceived organizational support is a full mediator between career management and organizational citizenship behavior and between hiring management and organizational citizenship behavior because there is no direct effect of career management and hiring management on organizational citizenship. However, results show that any perceived organizational support doesn't mediate the relationship between all strategic human resource management practices and customer orientation.

  • 본 연구는 입학자원의 계속적인 감소와 대학 재정의 외부 의존 심화 등 대학의 대내외적 환경 변화에 따라 대학의 존립과 경쟁력 강화를 위해 대학의 조직혁신이 필요하다는 문제의식에서 대학 교직원들을 대상으로 조직학습역량, 조직몰입, 프로티언 경력태도, 조직 혁신성의 관계를 살펴보았다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 조직학습역량은 조직 혁신성에 정적영향을 나타냈다. 둘째, 조직학습역량은 조직몰입에 정적 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 조직몰입은 조직 혁신성에 정적 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 조직 학습역량과 조직 혁신성의 관계에서 조직몰입은 매개효과, 프로티언 경력태도는 조절효과를 나타냈다. 이러한 연구 결과는 변화하는 환경에서 대학의 조직 혁신성을 높이기 위해서 구성원들이 조직에 몰입할 수 있는 환경과 주도적인 경력 지향성을 개발할 필요가 있다는 시사점을 제공한다.

안전풍토가 종업원 직무태도에 미치는 영향: 외투기업과 국내기업 비교 (The Effect of Safety Climate on the Job Attitude: Comparing Foreign Investment Company and Domestic Company)

  • This study examined the role of safety climate, organizational trust, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. In addition, the study verified the mediating effect of organizational trust between safety climate, and job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Targeting population were the workers in the manufacturing sector. First, it was figured out that employees' recognition of organizations' safety climate has an effect positively on both job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Second, it turns out that individuals' safety awareness has a positive effect on the both job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Third, it was figured out that organizational trust plays a role as mediation when employees' recognition of organizations' safety climate has an effect positively on both job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Fourth, the result revealed that foreign investment company moderated the relationship between safety climate and organizational climate. Fifth, organizational trust mediates the relationship that the individuals' safety awareness are positively affected on the both job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Finally, The results of four hypotheses using intermediary variable in which organizational trust mediates the relationship between the safety climate and "work attitude" such as job satisfaction and organization commitment demonstrate significance of trust in organization in connecting safety climate and work attitude. Therefore, when trust in organization is enhanced, work attitude such as job satisfaction and organizational commitment could be improved.

병원조직 구성원의 조직정치지각과 조직유효성과의 관계: 조직신뢰의 조절효과 (An Empirical Analysis of The Relationship between Hospital Employees' Perception of Organizational Politics, Organizational Effectiveness, and The Moderating Role of Organizational Trust)

  • The purpose of this study was to empirically investigate the relationship between hospital employeesʼ perceptions of organizational politics, organizational effectiveness such as job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention. We also evaluated the moderating effect of organizational trust on the relationships between POPs and organizational effectiveness. By analyzing 726 employeesʼ data including physicians, nurses, medical technicians, and administrators from one private hospital, POPs was found to have had a highly negative relationship with job satisfaction and organizational commitment while a highly positive relationship with turnover intention. Furthermore, organizational trust moderated the relationship between POPs and job satisfaction, and also POPs and turnover intention, while no moderating effect appeared between POPs and organizational commitment. Within the organization, employees who are in a group with high organizational trust have low job satisfaction and high turnover intention when they have high POPs rather than a group with low organizational trust. Further the implications of these results and future directions of the study have been discussed.

공조직에서의 BSC의 효과적인 운영 (An effective operation of Balanced Scorecard(BSC) in Public Organizations)

  • This study investigates the relationships between three BSC communication attributes(support of organizational culture, message valid, and knowledge sharing) and organizational learning and how that translates into relationship organizational performance in public organization. In this paper, first, past studies on BSC communication and organizational learning that identify the attributes of effective communication and organizational learning in organizational performance are reviewed. Second, a research model, key variables, and three hypotheses tested by PLS(partial least squares) are presented. The data was collected from BSC champions and managers of 53 public organizations in Korea. The results indicate, first, BSC communication (except for support of organizational culture) have not significant related to organizational performance. Therefore, H1 was not supported. Second, the structural path coefficient between support of organizational culture and message valid and organizational learning are statistically significant and in the hypothesized direction. But the knowledge sharing has not significant relationship with organizational learning. Therefore, H2 was partially supported. Third, organizational learning was significantly positively related to organizational performance. H3 was supported. Finally, organizational learning play a significantly positive role in mediating the relationship between BSC communication and organizational performance. The theoretical contributions, limitations, as well as future research directions are discussed at the end of the paper.
