국내 감염관리간호사의 핵심역량과 영향요인 분석 (Factors Affecting Core Competencies among Infection Control Nurses in Korea)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to describe core competencies and identify factors affecting core competencies among infection control nurses (ICN). Methods: Infection control nurses from hospital with more than 200 beds comprised the sample. Questionnaires were sent to the sample via e-mail. One hundred and three questionnaires were returned. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and stepwise multiple regression via SPSS/WIN 21.0. Results: The core competency level of healthcare workers area was the highest that of the education and research was the lowest. There were significant differences in core competencies related to demographics such as age, clinical carrier, infection control carrier, position, academic degree, infection control specialist license, hospital location, and hospital type. The explained variances for the core competency were 38.3% and the contributing factors to core competencies were infection control carrier and infection control specialist license. Conclusion: It showed various levels of core competencies depending on infection control nurses' demographics and hospital traits, therefore consistent management efforts for the licensing and career path of infection control would be required.

간호사의 핵심역량과 상사의 직무역량 인식이 간호업무성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Core Competencies and Cognition of Job Competency of Their Senior Nurses on Work Performance in Hospital Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was to investigate the effect of nurses' core competencies and cognition of job competency of senior nurses on work performance. Methods: Three hundred two nurses participated in the study. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS/WIN 20.0. Frequency, t-test, ANOVA and stepwise multiple regression were utilized. Results: The level of nurses' core competencies was 3.65 (${\pm}.40$) points, cognition of job competency of senior nurses was 4.02 (${\pm}.60$) points, and work performance was 4.04 (${\pm}.55$) points. In accordance with the participant's general characteristics, work performance was found to be significant in their age, marital status, educational level, total clinical experience, length of time on the present ward, and their income. Cognition of job competency of senior nurses was found to be the most effective factor in work performance, followed by core competencies and total clinical experience, and these factors accounted for 63.4%. Conclusion: The study suggested that work performance was highly affected by the nurses' core competencies and cognition of job competency of senior nurses. Therefore, effective education programs are required to provide an appropriate experience to both entry-level and experienced nurses, as well as to help in enhancing nurses' and senior nurses competency at the same time.

근로자건강센터 직원의 핵심역량 요구 및 역량수행 (Core Competency Requirements and Implementation of the Workers Health Center Employees)

  • Objectives: This study was established to ascertain the requirements and implementation of core competencies for employees of the a workers' health center. Methods: The study consisted of a four-step process: a literature review, focus group interviews, expert opinions, and a questionnaire. The survey was conducted online among 119 employees of the National Workers' Health Center. Results: As a result of the research, eleven core competencies and 37 sub-competencies were derived in three areas: Competence as a social worker, competence to perform duties, and competence for maintaining expertise. The key demands for core competencies were "health consultation" and "understanding of small businesses.". They responded that they needed to "maintain an ethical attitude" and "consult on workers' health.". The largest score difference between core competency requirements and competency implementation was "collaboration with the community.". Conclusions: It is necessary to increase competencies not only for competencies with high core requirements, but also for relatively low competencies. In addition, efforts should be made to improve the core competencies of the employees of the Workers' Health Center to effectively respond to changes in the industrial structure and crises such as COVID-19.

간호학생을 위한 메타버스기반 활력징후측정과 피하주사 핵심간호술 콘텐츠 개발 및 효과 검증 (The development and effects of metaverse-based core nursing skill contents of vital signs measurements and subcutaneous injections for nursing students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of Metaverse-based core nursing skill contents (CNSC) developed for undergraduate nursing students. Methods: A nonequivalent control group was sampled with a non-synchronized design. Seventy-two participants (experimental group 34, control group 38) were recruited from May to June 2022 in Gwangju metropolitan city. The CNSC consisted of scenarios of vital sign measurements, and subcutaneous injections (including blood sugar tests). The data were analyzed using SPSS version 25 for Windows. Results: At the completion of the CNSC, statistically differences were found between groups in knowledge of core nursing skills (t=6.20, p<.001), confidence in core nursing skills performance (t=5.71, p<.001), and clinical competency (t=3.32, p=.001). Conclusion: These results indicate that the CNSC developed for undergraduate nursing students is effective in improving knowledge of core nursing skills, confidence in core nursing skills performance, and clinical competency for nursing students.

상급종합병원 간호사의 자기효능감, 비판적 사고성향, 셀프리더십 및 의사소통 능력이 프리셉터 핵심역량에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Self-efficacy, Critical Thinking Disposition, Self-leadership, and Communication Competency on the Core Competencies of the Preceptor in Advanced General Hospitals)

  • Purpose: The study is to confirm the influence of self-efficacy, critical thinking disposition, self-leadership, and communication competency on the core competencies of the preceptor. Methods: Data were collected from August 27 to September 7, 2017 using structured questionnaires for 127 preceptors at a general hospital located in Korea. SPSS/Win 23.0 was used to analyze the frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: The mean score of the core competencies of the preceptors was $3.94{\pm}0.35$ (range 1-5); self-efficacy was $3.88{\pm}0.49$; critical thinking disposition was $3.54{\pm}0.36$; self-leadership was $3.66{\pm}0.39$; communication competency was $3.71{\pm}0.35$. There were no statistically significant differences between the core competencies of the preceptor and general characteristics. The core competencies of the preceptors were significantly correlated with self-efficacy (r=.61, p<.001), critical thinking disposition (r=.69, p<.001), self-leadership (r=.59, p<.001), and communication competency (r=.58, p<.001). The core competencies of the preceptors were affected by critical thinking disposition (${\beta}=.54$, p<.001), followed by communication competency (${\beta}=.24$, p<.001). The explanatory power by the factors was 51% (F=63.66, p<.001). Conclusion: The results suggest that critical thinking disposition and communication competency are important predictors of the core competencies of the preceptors.

간호학 임상실습 현장지도자 핵심역량 측정도구 개발 (Development of Core Competency Scale for clinical nursing student educators)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to develop a Core Competency Scale for clinical nursing student educators. Methods: In this study, we constructed a conceptual framework, selected initial items, verified the content validity, conducted two rounds of Delphi expert consultation, selected secondary and tertiary items, and extracted the final items. The study included 242 clinical educators for nursing students. Item analysis, factor analysis, criterion validity, and internal consistency were used for the data analyses. Results: For the final scale, 35 items were selected and 5 factors were categorized, which together explain 61.7% of the total variance. The factors were education and evaluation, research and cooperation, ethical/legal principles, presenting leadership, and clinical practice. The scores for the scale significantly correlated with the teaching efficacy scale for clinical nursing instructors. The Cronbach's alpha coefficient for the 35 items was .96. Conclusion: The findings of this study demonstrated that the core competency scale has good validity and reliability. This scale can be used to assess the competency of clinical educators for nursing students; hence, it will help in evaluating the relationship between the skills of clinical educators for nursing students and the self-efficacy of those students.

코로나19로 인한 융합실습을 경험한 간호대학생의 핵심간호역량에 미치는 영향 (Effect on Core Nursing Competency of Nursing Students who Experienced Convergence Practice due to COVID-19)

  • 본 연구는 융합실습을 경험한 간호대학생의 핵심간호역량의 영향을 규명하는 것을 목적으로 하였고, U 광역시 소재 간호대학생 123명을 대상으로 하였다. SPSS 22.0 프로그램으로 t-검정, ANOVA, 상관관계 및 다중회귀분석을 하였다. 연구결과 핵심간호역량, 자기주도학습능력, 학습만족도, 학습성과의 평균점수는 5점 만점에 3.99점, 3.71점, 4.11점, 4.25점이었다. 간호대학생들의 핵심간호역량에 영향을 미치는 요인은 자기주도적 학습능력과 학습성과였으며 핵심간호역량을 설명하는 설명력은 29%이었다. 학습만족도는 핵심간호역량에 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과 통해 임상실습현장에서 볼 수 있는 다양한 간호행위를 관찰하거나 시행할 수 있는 아닌 한계점을 개선하기 위해서는 양질의 교육환경 및 프로그램 개발이 마련되어야 함을 알 수 있었다. 교육환경 및 임상실습 평가에 대한 명확하고 체계적인 기준이 필요하고 실습이 다양해짐에 따라 임상실습에 대한 체계적인 표준안이 마련되어야 할 것을 제언한다.

간호대학생의 자기주도학습 준비도, 교수-학생 상호작용, 학업성취도가 핵심역량, 학습동기와 학습만족도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Self-Directed Learning Readiness, Teacher-Student Interaction, and Academic Achievement on Core Competency, Learner Motivation, and Learner Satisfaction in Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생을 대상으로 핵심역량, 학습동기, 학습만족도에 영향을 주는 요인을 파악하여 다양한 학습법을 적용할 때 대상자의 핵심역량, 학습동기, 학습만족도를 높이기 위한 근거를 제시함으로써 보다 효과적인 교수학습법을 개발하고자 함이다. 본 연구의 설계는 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상은 S시에 위치한 E대학교 간호대학생 2, 3학년을 대상으로 하였으며, 총 134명의 자료가 최종 분석에 포함되었다. 본 연구의 결과 간호대학생의 핵심역량은 2학년보다는 3학년에서 높았고, 간호대학생의 핵심역량, 학습동기와 학습만족도 모두 자기주도학습 준비도와 교수-학생 상호작용이 평균이상인 학생이 평균미만인 학생보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 자기주도학습 준비도, 교수-학생 상호작용, 학업성취도 3개의 변수로 구축된 핵심역량에 대한 회귀모형의 설명력은 45.1%이었고, 자기주도학습 준비도, 교수-학생 상호작용, 학업성취도, 학습만족도 4개의 변수로 구축된 학습동기에 대한 회귀모형의 설명력은 47.5%이었으며, 교수-학생 상호작용, 학습동기 2개의 변수로 구축된 학습만족도 모형의 설명력은 43.4%이었다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과 핵심역량과 학습동기를 높이기 위해서는 자기 주도학습 준비도와 함께 교수-학생 상호작용을 증진시키는 것이 필요하며, 학습만족도를 높이기 위해서는 학습동기를 고취시키고 교수-학생 상호작용이 효율적으로 일어날 수 있도록 하는 중재가 필요하겠다.

간호대학생의 임상실습 중 핵심기본간호술 수행자신감에 영향을 미치는 요인 (The Factors Influence of Clinical Competency of Core Basic Nursing Skills During the Clinical Practice in Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 임상실습 중 핵심기본간호술의 수행자신감에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위해 시행된 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상은 경상북도 G시에 소재한 4년제 간호학과에 재학중인 3, 4학년 학생 190명으로 일반적 특성 및 임상실습 특성, 핵심기본간호술 경험 정도와 수행자신감을 설문조사하였다. 자료분석은 기술통계, t-test, 분산분석 및 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 수행경험한 핵심기본간호술의 수는 5개 이하가 51.1%였으며, 관찰경험한 핵심기본간호술의 수는 11개 이상 78.4%였다. 일반적 특성, 임상실습 만족도와 핵심기본간호술 경험 정도에 따른 수행자신감은 남자, 연령과 학년이 증가할수록, 전공만족도와 임상실습 만족도가 높아질수록 높아졌으며, 특히 수행경험한 핵심기본간호술의 수가 증가할수록 높아졌다(p<0.001). 하지만 수행자신감은 관찰경험한 핵심기본간호술의 수에 따른 차이는 없었다(p=0.463). 간호대학생의 수행자신감에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 연령, 학년, 임상실습 만족도와 수행경험한 핵심기본간호술의 수로 나타났다. 따라서 간호교육과정에서 간호대학생의 임상실습 중 다양한 핵심기본간호술을 직접적으로 경험할 수 있는 기회를 늘리는 것이 중요하고, 보안책으로 시뮬레이션 교육을 적극적으로 활용하는 방안이 모색되어야 할 것이다.

교수의 핵심역량과 대학생의 인지역량 및 생애역량의 구조적 관계 분석 (The study on the structural relation among professors' core competency, college students' cognitive learning competency and life competencies)

  • 본 연구에서는 교수의 핵심역량과 대학생의 인지역량 및 생애역량의 구조적 분석을 위해 전국 7개 대학의 대학생 500명을 대상으로 빈도분석, 기술통계분석, 신뢰도 분석, 상관분석과 확인적 요인분석, 구조방정식모형 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 교수의 핵심역량은 대학생의 생애역량에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 교수의 핵심역량은 대학생의 인지역량에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 대학생의 인지역량은 생애역량에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 대학생의 인지역량은 교수의 핵심역량과 대학생의 생애역량 사이에서 유의한 매개효과가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이는 교수의 핵심역량이 대학생의 인지역량을 기반으로 생애역량에 더 많은 영향을 준다고 할 수 있다.
