  • Over the years, there has been much research conducted on quadratic curves and the set of points with the generalized notion of eccentricity in a plane with metrics such as taxicab distance or Chinese-checker distance. On the other hand, polar taxicab distance has been newly proposed on the polar coordinate system, a type of curvilinear coordinate system, to overcome the limitation of pre-existing metrics in terms of describing curved routes. Previous study has looked into the fundamental properties of this metric. From this point of view, we study the quadratic curves and the set of points with the generalized notion of eccentricity in a plane with polar taxicab distance.

  • A well-designed computer network technology produces benefits on several fields within the organization, between the organizations(suborganizations) or among different organizations(suborganizations). Network technology streamlines business processes, decision process. Graphs are useful data structures capable of efficiently representing a variety of networks in the various fields. Metagraph is a like graph theoretic construct introduced recently by Basu and Blanning in which there is set to set mapping in place of node to node as in a conventional graph structure. Metagraph is thus a new type of data structure occupying its popularity among the computer scientists very fast. Every graph is special case of Metagraph. In this paper the authors introduce the notion of Meta-Networking as a new network technological representation, which is having all the capabilities of crisp network as well as few additional capabilities. It is expected that the notion of meta-networking will have huge applications in due course. This paper will play the role of introducing this new concept to the network technologists and scientists.

  • The purpose of this study was provide basic data for homemakers' housing notion according to unit size in apartment. This study was conducted by questionnaires that concerning about middle class homemakers whom they lived in Bundang. The results of this study were as follows; 1) In research on the homemakers' general quality, 20pyung unit size was alike 30pyung unit size and 40pyung unit size was similar to 50pyung unit size. 2) Homemakers' perception according to unit size in apartment was various; (a) 20pyungㆍ30pyung unit size-effective household space for husbands' participation, more sports facilities, parking lot space etc. (b) 40pyungㆍ50pyung unit size-homemakers' individual room, ordering and variable unit plan etc. 3) In research on the homemakers' needs, each of unit size was analogous to storage, common facility, new design and new housing form etc.

  • In [3] and [4], Kitahara, Pak and the author obtained the conformally invariant tensor $B_0$, which is an algebraic Hermitian analogue of the Weyl conformal curvature tensor W in the Riemannian geometry, by the decomposition of the curvature tensor H of the Hermitian connection and the notion of semi-curvature-like tensors of Tanno (see[7]). In [5], the author defined a conformally invariant tensor $B_0$ on a Hermitian manifold as a modification of $B_0$. Moreover he introduced the notion of local conformal Hermitian-flatness of Hermitian manifolds and proved that the vanishing of this tensor $B_0$ together with some condition for the scalar curvatures is a necessary and sufficient condition for a Hermitian manifold to be locally conformally Hermitian-flat.

  • A general notion of ${\chi}$-transitive groups was introduced by C. Delizia et al. in [6], where ${\chi}$ is a class of groups. In [5], Ciobanu, Fine and Rosenberger studied the relationship among the notions of conjugately separated abelian, commutative transitive and fully residually ${\chi}$-groups. In this article we study the concept of 2-Engel transitive groups and among other results, its relationship with conjugately separated 2-Engel and fully residually ${\chi}$-groups are established. We also introduce the notion of 2-Engelizer of the element x in G and denote the set of all 2-Engelizers in G by $E^2(G)$. Then we construct the possible values of ${\mid}E^2(G){\mid}$.

  • The aim of this paper is twofold. Firstly, we introduce the concept of semi-partial isometry in a Banach algebra and carry out a comparison and a classification study for this concept. In particular, we show that in the context of $C^*$-algebras this concept coincides with the notion of partial isometry. Our results encompass several earlier ones concerning partial isometries in Hilbert spaces, Banach spaces and $C^*$-algebras. Finally, we study the notion of (m, p)-semi partial isometries.

  • The notion of quasi-valuation maps based on a subalgebra and an ideal in BCK/BCI-algebras is introduced, and then several properties are investigated. Relations between a quasi-valuation map based on a subalgebra and a quasi-valuation map based on an ideal is established. In a BCI-algebra, a condition for a quasi-valuation map based on an ideal to be a quasi-valuation map based on a subalgebra is provided, and conditions for a real-valued function on a BCK/BCI-algebra to be a quasi-valuation map based on an ideal are discussed. Using the notion of a quasi-valuation map based on an ideal, (pseudo) metric spaces are constructed, and we show that the binary operation * in BCK-algebras is uniformly continuous.

  • The notion of intuitionistic fuzzy filters in ordered semigroups is introduced and relation between intuitionistic fuzzy filters and intuitionistic fuzzy prime ideals is investegated. The notion of intuitionistic fuzzy bi-ideal subsets and intuitionistic fuzzy bi-filters are provided and relation between intuitionistic fuzzy bi-filters and intuitionistic fuzzy prime bi-ideal subsets is established. The concept of intuitionistic fuzzy right filters(1eft filters) is given and their relation with intuitionistic fuzzy prime right (left) ideals is discussed.

  • The notion of technological adoption such as Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) has been examined in various domains such as supply chain management, inventory management and health care. However, there are several unanswered questions surrounding how this technology is adopted in disaster management. This study attempts to explore the potential of RFID in disaster management. The notion of Task-Technology Fit (TTF) is deemed suitable for this purpose and thus used as the theoretical framework that is further validated by employing multiple case studies. The empirical findings indicate that there are six key factors influencing the decision to adopt RFID in disaster management. Some relate to aspects of RFID when it is put into practice, namely cost, compatibility, standardisation, implementation and locatability; while the other key factor relates to privacy and security aspect of information. It is hoped that the findings of this research will inform disaster management organizations to better plan the adoption of RFID for their operations.

  • The purpose of this paper is to analyze and discuss the viewpoint dealing with the fundamental figures-point, line segment, and angle-of elementary school teachers. In fact, our main subjects in this article are as follows; how do elementary school teachers deal with the fundamental figures?, what is the general notion about the fundamental figures of elementary school teachers? Our such subjects come from the survey results about the 'fundamental figures in J. A. Ko(2009); the elementary school students have a tendency to regard the fundamental figures as not mathematical figures. In this article, we discuss mainly the meta-cognitive shift in the transform of notion, for example, from 'congruent' concept to 'equal' concept, about the fundamental figures.
