중학교 "기술.가정" 2 교과서 의생활영역의 교과 내용 분석 - 2009 개정 교육과정을 중심으로 - (The Study of Clothing-Related Contents in Middle School Textbook "Technology.Home Economics" 2 - Based on The Revised 2009 Curriculum -)

  • This study focuses on the middle school textbook Technology Home Economics 2, revised in 2009, and aims to analyze the clothing-related contents within the Technology and Home Economics curriculum. All Korean elementary, middle and high school curricula have evolved through a number of changes and repeated revisions from their first versions, and reached their current seventh revised edition in 2009. Over this process, subjects connected to home economics have formed the following structure: Practical Courses in elementary school (5thand6thgrade)and Technology and Home Economics in middle and high school. The curriculum contents of the subjects Technology and Home Economics are divided into Development and Family, Clothing, Dietary Life, Habitation, Home Management and Consumption. Each curriculum teaches the students about its respective contents, e.g. Clothing brings the students in contact with clothing-related matters. Curricula and education methods help students find their own interests during middle and high school. Their school studies determine what majors they are seeking to choose in college and university. There are diverse university programs in Korea that are related to clothing. The above-mentioned textbook deals with clothing in the chapter Eco-friendly Clothing and Mending Habits. The results of this analysis shall help the development of the constantly changing textbook curricula, and furthermore become a reference to middle and high school students who aspire a practical and creative clothing education.

  • As environmental issues have become a worldwide concern after the 20th century, the idea and the term of 'green growth development' has become familiar to the public. After 2008, the green growth development dramatically became an important ideology in Korea; thus industries, studies and product investments in relation are in active progress. Following the trend, the latter major unit of the middle school textbook "Technology & Home Economics" was named the revision of elementary, middle and high school textbooks in 2009. The learning goal of 'green' or 'eco-friendly' of the revised edition of the textbook will guide the middle school students to have better understanding of the issues of clothing habits and the environment. Furthermore, students will be able to apply the 'green' concepts in their real life and put eco-friendly clothing habits into action. Thus, the practice of effective learning will depend on the quality of the current issue of the textbook. Therefore this study analyzes the eco-friendly contents of the semi-unit from 7 different textbooks and presents an example of textbook production to the preliminary teacher of home economics.

중학교 체육교과서에 제시된 보건단원 내용 고찰 (Contents Analysis of Health Unit in the Middle School Physical Education Textbook)

  • The purpose of this research is to investigate various characteristics of the health unit presented in current physical educational curriculum and study a variety of middle school physical education textbooks in the aspect of health education. The conclusions of this research are as follow Acquiring and executing of health knowledge is important in the school health education. Thus, the contents of textbook suitable to the developmental stage of teenager and applicable to future life should be concretely presented in the physical education textbook. The standard of selecting the range of physical education contents should be regulated, and the contents appropriate to standard should be presented in the physical education textbook. We make student utilize the textbook by showing the sample the example of portfolio and self-checklist in the textbook. In the aspect of formation of textbook, scientific and systematic which is appropriate to improving the power of thinking and inquiry should be used in the textbook. In the aspect of format of textbook, application of CD-ROM or video type should be attempted, making the textbook. Moreover, the health education in the physical education textbook should be connected to not only the school health education but the health education in the unit of home and society for the purpose of successful health education.

국어교과서에 기초한 독서치료 프로그램이 중학생의 자아존중감에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Bibliotherapy Program Based upon Literature Units of Korean Language Textbook on Self-Esteem of Middle School Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop bibliotherapy program based upon literature units of Korean language textbook and to test it's effect on self-esteem of middle school students. Sixty-nine female middle school students participated in this study. Thirty-four students were assigned to experimental group and thirty-five ones were assigned to control group. Subjects completed Self-Esteem Inventory. Data analyses were conducted using t-test and ANCOVA. The results of the analyses revealed that subjects of experimental group showed significantly higher scores on self-esteem than ones of control group. Based upon the above results, it is concluded that bibliotherapy program based upon literature units of Korean language textbook was effective in improving self-esteem of female middle school students.

정보 교과서에 대한 인식 차이의 분석 (Analysis of Recognition Difference Regarding Informatics Textbook)

  • 본 논문에서는 교사와 대학생을 대상으로 두 개의 집단을 구성하고, 중학교 정보 교과서에 대한 인식에 어떤 차이가 있는지 조사하고 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 중학교 정보 교과목 담당 교사와 정보 컴퓨터 표시과목으로 임용시험을 준비하고 있는 대학생들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문 항목은 정보 교과서의 내용 및 구성 체계의 완성도를 조사하고, 교과서에 대한 전반적인 만족도를 조사하도록 작성하였다. 교과서의 내용 및 구성 체계의 완성도는 교과서 검정기준에 기초하여 7개 영역으로 작성하였다. 교과서에 대한 인식에 유의미한 차이가 있는지를 확인하기 위하여 t-검정을 실시하였으며, 그 결과 두 집단 사이에 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있음을 확인하였다. 영역별 검정에서 두 집단 간에 유의미한 차이가 나타난 것은 교육과정의 준수와 내용의 선정 및 조직인 것으로 파악되었다.

중학교 가정 교과서 선정 기준에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Selection Criteria for Home Economics Textbook in the Middle School)

  • The purpose of this study was to make a selection criteria for Home Economics textbooks in the middle school. For this purpose, first, the criteria were out by collecting, analyzing and synthesizing the literature. Second, questionnaire survey of the 6 selection criteria was performed. Questionnaire sent to Home Economics teachers of 401 middle school selected by systematic random sapling, 233 questionnaire were received and 220 questionnaire were analyzed for this study. As a statistical tool, SPSSWIN was used to analyze frequency, mean, standard deviation, and factor analysis. The research findings were as follows ; 1. Now for kinds of Home Economics textbooks are mainly used. At that time when textbooks were selected, these selections were made upon deliberation with the teachers in charge and in future this method will be desirable. Most home economics teachers realize that the selection criteria is needed to improve the objectivity of textbook selection. 2. As a result of making factor analysis, the selection criteria were revised that 52 items in 7 categories were chosen as textbook criteria plan. They consist of 5 items related to the outward form of textbook, 5 items related to the learning materials in textbook, 10 items related to the composition of textbook units, 11 items related to the guiding contents of textbook, 7 items related to the subject of experiment.practice, 9 items related to the composition of picture, photograph and diagram. and 7 items related to the use of instructional-learning method.

  • 본 연구에서는 중학교 수학 (1) 수업에 적용 가능한 스토리텔링 모델교과서의 예시 단원을 개발한다. 그리고 개발된 스토리텔링 모델교과서를 활용한 실험 수업을 실시하고, 수업 지도 교사와의 면담 및 학생들에 대한 설문 조사를 통해 스토리텔링 모델교과서를 활용한 수업에서 드러나는 어려움 및 장점 등을 분석한다. 본 연구의 결과는 스토리텔링 적용 교수학습 모형이나 방안에 대한 연구가 부족한 현재 상황에서 향후 이와 관련된 보다 다양하고 심층적인 연구를 위한 기초 자료로서 그 의의가 있을 것으로 보인다.

중학교 환경 교과서의 내용 구성 방식의 분석

  • Environmental education in Korea has been emphasized since the Fourth National Curriculum. The Environment curriculum became independent as 'Environment' for middle school and 'Environmental Science' for high school were set as independent subjects upon the Sixth National Curriculum of Korea. And the Enviroment Textbook for middle school was published by the Ministry of Education of Korea. The purpose of this study is to analyze environment textbook for middle school focusing on the organization, the format, questions and illustrations. It was expected that the results of this study could be used by Environment textbook developers. According to the analysis of 'Environment',on the organization, the textbook was consisted of 219 pages and 22 units. A unit was consisted of many subunits and activities. On the content of the textbook, the objectives of subunits stressed more on explanation form than on exemplification form. On the questions, most of them were in <activities> and the objectives of questions stressed on the presentation of the contents. The specific aspect referring results, cause, and judgement, etc. were vary rarely checked. The questions seemed as good, because questions were mostly pertinent to the what to ask, and had a good connection to the main text. By the analysis of illustration, illustrations were mostly functioned as supportive and rarely as decorative, Most of them were photographs and printed all in black-and-white pictures.
