The purpose of this study was to provide basic data for developing nutrition education program focusing on the health-oriented food choice and purchase which affect the adolescents' health. The data was collected by means of questionnaire from the total of 273 students who were living in cities and myun district and final 253 questionnaires were analyzed by using the SPSS/WIN 10.0 program. The results are summarized as follows. First, the major source of information on food was mass media, especially advertisement and students spent $20{\sim}30%$ of allowance on food purchase. The students purchased cookies or ice cream mainly, once every 2-3 days at the store near house, after school, for appeasing hunger or thirst. The influence of gender, mother's education level, economic status of family, the amount of allowance, the period of receiving allowance, the details of allowance recording, school location on food purchasing behavior were significant(p<.05). Second, the price and taste were the most important factors when the students purchase food. Nutrition and food sanitation/safety were considered less important by the students. The factors considered when the students purchase food were significantly different between Sender, father and mother's education level, and the amount of allowance(p<.05). Third, middle school students' food purchase behavior were influenced by advertizement, friends, parents. The influence of advertisement, friends, parents when the students purchase food were significantly different between gender, mother's career, economic status of family, and the amount of allowance(p.<05). From tile result of this study, the middle school students consider price and taste more than the other factors related nutrition and health in purchasing foods. Therefore, it will be necessary to develope and enforce nutrition education program focusing on how to choose and purchase safe, nutritious, delicious and cheap foot for adolescents.
This oral history study explores the past and present Japanese menswear custom-tailoring culture. Two master tailors with more than 50 years of experience and two young tailors with less than a year of experience were interviewed about the tailor training process and environment, working conditions, thinking and behavior, and societal and governmental efforts for vitalizing custom-tailoring. The results indicate, first, a 10-year apprenticeship was required in the past, whereas young tailors today must register for three-year professional tailoring classes. Tailors then and now have been trained in a similar sequence of pants, vests, and jackets. Second, regarding working conditions, tailors had to provide gratitude services to their masters for a few years, even after their training ended. In contrast, young tailors today must continue a probationary period after their three-year schooling; however, they experience difficulty with finding tailoring shops for their probation. Third, in terms of thinking and behavior, master tailors learned their trade to earn a living, whereas young tailors today entered the field due to their interests in it. In addition, young tailors want a systematic learning process, whereas master tailors learned their skills while on the job. Last, tailoring academies today are run by tailoring shops and societies. Career exploration programs are offered to elementary and middle school students by the Kobe government in association with the local tailoring society to provide tailoring experiences.

This study investigated pre-service science teachers' motivation for career choice and their self-image as a science teacher. Although their motivations for becoming science teachers were very personal, three major characteristics emerged. First, during the process of their growth, their interest in education and science existed separately, and later the two interest were naturally focused on the job of a science teacher. When they find out that teaching science is right for them, they developed their inner motivation. Second, teaching opportunities to teach science subjects, including classroom observations, TA, tutor, and teacher-aid, played an essential role for them in finding their aptitude for science teaching. Third, their teaching-related experiences were very effective in building up their self-image as a science teacher and in preparing for the job. It also reinforced their inner motivation, which was important in finding their direction in life as a science teacher. Fourth, there were two categories for the self-image as a science teacher. One was teaching-oriented and the other was science subject-oriented. These images for the science teacher were closely connected with their inner motivation for science teaching.
This study aims to investigate the online class preference depending on students' gender and school level. To achieve this aim, the study conducted a survey on 4,803 elementary, middle, and high school students in 17 regions nationwide. The valid data of 4,524 were then analyzed using the Apriori algorithm to discern the associated patterns of the online class preference corresponding to their gender and school level. As a result, a total of 16 rules, including 7 from elementary school students, 4 from middle school students, and 5 from high school students were derived. To be specific, elementary school male students preferred software-based classes whereas elementary female students preferred maker-based classes. In the case of middle school, both male and female students preferred virtual experience-based classes. On the other hand, high school students had a higher preference for subject-specific lecture-based classes. The study findings can serve as empirical evidence for explaining the needs of online classes perceived by K-12 students. In addition, this study can be used as basic research to present and suggest areas of improvement for diversifying online classes. Future studies can further conduct in-depth analysis on the development of various online class activities and models, the design of online class platforms, and the female students' career motivation in the field of science and technology.
The purpose of this study is to analyze middle-aged female householders' reasons behind becoming female householders, process of adapting to female householders' life, and experiences in preparation for old age using Colaizzi's phenomenological method. The participants were 9 middle-aged women (aged from 40-59) having professions. We interviewed each participants twice, for 60 to 90 minutes at a time from September to December of 2014. The result of this study showed following 6 emergent themes: , , , , and . Regarding the result we suggest the necessity of political support such as providing information and education for female householders' successful old age.

This study is currently presenting a creative education policy through the new 2015 revised curriculum and the Free semester system of Middle School as part of the education policy reform in the government-led, high freedom grade in each regional school board first, emotional schools, friendly school, campus type schools, etc. with creative thinking and improve students' autonomous judgment with the psychological and political reasons meant to provide amusement and certainty of their career choice. This creates space for creative education through the theoretical understanding of the educational philosophical thinking on creativity was to identify the appropriate means of educational space. The purpose of this study was to extract the linkage to produce creative educational environment that is generated through the philosophical thinking of the historical and psychological analysis of creativity with a human being. Future school construction has a future-oriented task should create a creative learning space in the center of the member schools. This creates space for creative education through the theoretical understanding of the educational philosophical thinking on creativity was to identify the appropriate means of educational space. Therefore Philosophical Thinking Creative School of members through the grounds centric collaboration focused on convergence enemy curriculum and school creative autonomy of operation which is central educational environment, that is diversified assistance as an attribute of the environment, space, space, flexible outdoor space, linking enemy center space, different types and sizes of the space case situation, the open space and spatial fusion can be seen the configuration doeeojim with different training space element.
This research aims to analyse the features and meaning of students' participation in lifelong learning city project in Germany. Lifelong learning city project has been running for several years to develop a new learning culture in the grass root level. In Germany, many students in elementary, middle and high school have actively participated in diverse lifelong learning projects such as learning support, career development, community participation. This case study shows us to reshape a new model of lifelong learning and widen the range of target group for lifelong learning in Korea. Student participation can enrich the quality of lifelong learning city project, which could make a significant contribution to embodying the lifelong learning society by creating a new learning culture.

The purpose of this study was to investigate middle school Home Economics(HE) teachers' perspective on HE curriculum, their Housing Education Value in Home Economics, and then find out correlations between them. Questionnaire was administered to HE teachers who had experienced teaching Housing content over the whole country through e-mail or face-to-face meeting. 207 data collected from the responses were finally analyzed statistically with mean, standard deviation, percentage, T-test, one-way ANOVA, post verification(Scheffe) and Pearson correlation by using SPSS/WIN(ver. 10.0) program. The results of the study were as follows: First, about Home Economics teachers' perspective on HE curriculum, the existential perspective was the highest, followed by the structural perspective and the traditional perspective. Second, about their perspectives on Housing Education Value, generally the most important thing they value was an aspect of ecology, followed by an aspect of economics, an aspect of Socio-Psychology, an aspect of space planning, an aspect of local environment, an aspect of career education, an aspect of culture, an aspect of housing management and an aspect of housing policy. Third, about the relation between their perspectives on curriculum and Housing Education Value, among 9 kinds of Housing Education Value, the traditional perspective was low associated with only housing management value including to Housing Education Value. However, the existential perspective and the structural perspective tended to be moderately or low associated with most of the values including to Housing Education Value.
The purpose of this study was to monitor evaluation in science education at primary and secondary school in Korea. In order to do this, the survey was administered. The subject was 518 teachers; 292 elementary school teachers, 110 middle school science teachers and 116 general high school science teachers. It was found that the ratio of paper examination increased while that of performance evaluation decreased according to the grade of school. In the science paper examination, the ratio of selection type item was higher than that of supply type item, and the ratio of item belonging to knowledge area was higher than that of item belonging to the inquiry area regardless of the grade of school, teaching career, and teacher's gender. The teachers recognized the necessity of supply type item, but they suffered from the reliability of the result of that item. And it was hard for them to do performance evaluation because it took much time and effort. This study suggested that the high-quality in-service teacher training be provided and laboratory assistants who help the science experiment and grading test papers be employed in order to fulfil the performance evaluation and increase the ratio of supply type item and items belonging to the inquiry area.
The purposes of this study are to compare practical ability of vocational education high school, investigate effectiveness of recruitment practical examination, and provide basic data that can be helpful to recruit teaching staffs of occupational training institution in the middle stage and strengthen practical guidance capability of teacher through the analysis by variables of teacher's background. To achieve them, concrete capability areas related to practical ability were conceived and differences of new teacher's abilities were compared between area that fulfilled recruitment practical examination and areas that didn't fulfill. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, practical abilities among specialized subject teachers of vocational education high school were compared by existence of vocational education high school teacher recruitment practical examination. As a result, the average of practical ability of the group who was fulfilled by recruitment practical examination was somewhat high in all of 5 sub-areas for practical ability, but wasn't significant statistically. Second, the differences of practical ability by background variable among specialized subject teacher of vocational education high school were compared. As a result, the group who possesses national technology licence, existence of short-term teaching career, teaching course completion form of open teacher training showed higher average and it showed significant differences statistically.
