From designers' viewpoint, today, the major environmental change can be found in the digital environment. Especially, more than the development of physical product which can be characterized as the backup of old function and realization of new function in the field of product design, as the digital product development of program style that exists without substance is deepened, the development of the digital design media has been accelerating. However, it is the recent matter that the link with educational system about the added value which could be embodied by digitech, and the interdisciplinary research about producing goods become regular. The construction of the industrial design development process based on the digital environment must be the major research object. Therefore, the goal of my research is to present the concept of the product design process model required in the digital environment.

The matter of understanding mathematical concepts in learning mathematics is one of the most important issues in mathematics education. There have been so many studies about it but the more practical study has been asked. When we Think using intuitional models such as examples, figures of speech, situations and activities, it is supposed that the major elements of cognitive mechanism are prototypes, analogies, metaphors and metonymies. In this paper, we tried to examine Rosch's prototype theory, the studies about analogies in congnitive psychology, Lakoff and Johnson's metaphor theory from the viewpoint of teaching mathematics, and then tried to analyze examples, analogies, analogical transfers, metaphorical expressions, metonymies in middle school mathematics text books used in Korea now.

Western Medicine had been taking the occurrence of a disease as a physical matter and had tried to step forward from this angle till the late twentieth. But lately for about 20 years, a lot of researchers have started to understand the disease and human function as those in holistic system They supposed that the human function was the result of the interactions in 'Mind-Brain-Body' system and tried to explain and prove about the theory at the molecular level. The name of this new field of human science is 'Mind-Body Medicine' and in the center stand the 'Psychoneuroendoimmunology. Traditional Korean Medicine of which the core system was formed 2500 years ago, explains the complex interaction between mind and body with the theory of 'Mind-Brain-Body' system. To research on the correlation between mind and body, we tried to explain from the viewpoint of medical classic about the philosophical background, relations among mind, five viscera, and body, interaction between mind and body.

Chirality is ubiquitous in physics and biology from microscopic to macroscopic phenomena, such as fermionic interactions and DNA duplication. In photonics, chirality has traditionally represented differentiated optical responses for right and left circular polarizations. This definition of optical chirality in the polarization domain includes handedness-dependent phase velocities or optical absorption inside chiral media, which enable polarimetry for measuring the material concentration and circular dichroism spectroscopy for sensing biological or chemical enantiomers. Recently, the emerging field of non-Hermitian photonics, which explores exotic phenomena in gain or loss media, has provided a new viewpoint on chirality in photonics that is not restricted to the traditional polarization domain but is extended to other physical quantities such as the orbital angular momentum, propagation direction, and system parameter space. Here, we introduce recent milestones in chiral light-matter interactions in non-Hermitian photonics and show an enhanced degree of design freedom in photonic devices for spin and orbital angular momenta, directionality, and asymmetric modal conversion.

In this study, the author researched the process in which the philosophical basis of 'Sa Sang Medicine (四象醫學)' and its methodology build up the principles of Sa Sang Medicine, and then, examined how the principles were applied to the theoretical system of Sa Sang Medicine. The conclusion would be summarized as follows. 1. 'Nae Kyung Medicine (內經醫學)' was developed under the concept that the cosmos's order and its moving rule could be directly applied to that of human body, which corresponded to the 'Theory of Hwang-No (黃老之學)'. On the contrary, Sa Sang Medicine is a thoroughly human-oriented theory formed in the Confucianism system. 2. Lee Jae-Ma's Substantialism can be briefed into 'Mind 心' (Tae Keuk 太極), 'Mind-Body 心身' (Yang Eui 兩儀) and 'Activity-Mind-Body-Matter 事心身物' (Sa Sang 四象), which respectively represents one-elemented substance, two-elemented substance and four-elemented substance. Especially, Sa Sang was used as a basic framework in which he recognized all the objects and phenomena. So, most critical significance of his substantialism consists in the intention of Sa Sang type classifying. 3. By the method of Sa Sang type classifying, Lee Jae-Ma not only redefined the main concepts of confucianism and developed a unique philosophy of his own, but also, in the field of medical science, resystemized and re-explained the structure and function of human body. 4. From the recognition that Activity-Mind-body-Matter (Sa Sang) are four different existence forms of energy 氣 (or four variation types of energy), Yi Jae-Ma thinks that the viscera of human body have a vertical structure of 'four parts 四焦' (upper, mid-upper, mid-lower and lower parts) and its physiological function is operated by the rising and falling action of four energy presentations (sorrow 哀, anger 怒, joy 喜 and pleasure 樂). 5. In "Gyuk Chi Go 格致藁", Lee Jae-Ma understood the concept of joy, anger, sorrow and pleasure on the basis of nature-emotion theory 性情論 from the philosophical viewpoint. But, from the medical viewpoint of "Dong Eui Su Se Bo Won 東醫壽世保元", he understood them on the basis of vital energy theory. That is, sorrow, anger, joy and pleasure are expression of advance or reverse of nature vital-energy 性氣 and emotion vital-energy 情氣. 6. The rising and falling action principle of four energy presentations (sorrow, anger, joy and pleasure) which produces and helps each other is an identical principles of Sa Sang Medicine, distinguished from the Oh-Haeng 五行 circulating principle in Nae Kyung Medicine. Through this principle, Lee Jae-Ma explained the viscera physiology of human body, pathology & diagnosis and pharmacology.

This study presents the discourse for academic generation of 'School Library Education Science' based on integrative research between library & information science and education science. The study discusses research fields and themes of 'School Library Education Science' as the base to define the roles of the school library and of teacher-librarians. It contributes to upgrading the research level of the school library. The research field in the school library analyzes and integrates both aspects of library & information science and of education science. The developed theories of 'School Library Education Science' present Library-Based Education and Library-Based Learning, Base Connectionism, Base Integrationism, Top456 Approach, Curriculum-Based Approach, Viewpoint Approach, and Education of Information and the Library as a Subject Matter. The trends in research of the school library analyze the thesis numbers of academic journals. The future research challenges of 'School Library Education Science' discuss the educational basics of the school library, operational management, electronic school libraries, and educational activities. Conclusively, this study analyzes the current situation of the school library & of teacher-librarians in Korea, and provides its solution by the aspects of 'School Library Education Science'.

Recently KISTEP(Korea Institute of Science and Technology Evaluation and Planning) held an open forum for examining 'the Manuscript of National Science and Technology Standard Taxonomic System'. I submitted my opinion letter to the forum because I thought that the matter of setting the standard taxonomic system for Science and Technology is so closely related to the research concern of STS that it needs checking from the viewpoint of STS. This paper primarily focuses on making a criticism of and constructing an alternative to the mamuscript, but it goes so far as to ground the matter upon the STS viewpoint. I propose that we interpret an open forum related to science and technology as an example case of the community of inquiry. Further I try, standing in the context of learning to form a model of doing STS interdisciplinary research. In the context of decision I point out the problem with the 'scale' principle involved in categrizing criteria of the taxonomic system and argue that the problem leads to omitting STS from National Science and Technology Standard Taxonomic System although STS takes up science and technology themselves as its research concern proper. In the context or teaming I seek to set up a typical case study or STS. One of the typical STS research tasks is trying to construct a positive alternative to as well as make a criticism of a given suggestion, for clearer alternatives will, in him, provoke sharper criticisms or safer acceptances. I hope that the model in this paper will exemplify such an alternating procedure of criticism and acceptance.

Recently, as sense of crisis about human survival has become serious due to worsening environmental pollution, people have begun to pay attention to their health more and more. In order to improve health conditions, multifarious approaches have been made from such diverse sectors as foods, clothing, medical sciences and environment, and particularly space environmental matters of housing cannot but be a matter of great concern to maintain and enhance the health of the residents. However, scarcely empirical studies have been made from the viewpoint of the users regarding the characteristics of Modern Hanok that has been appreciated as an example of a representative healthy housing. Therefore, this study aimed to study the recognition of apartment residents concerning the health characteristics of Modern Hanok. The health characteristics of Modern Hanok analyzed through literature investigation were classified into three categories of physical, mental and social health, and based on these characteristics, survey was made through web-survey upon 200 apartment residents who have interest in Hanok but have not lived or stayed in Hanok yet. The survey result revealed that about 60% of the respondents have recognized the health characteristics of Modern Hanok, and the respondents recognizing this fact expected that on a comparatively low average level of 2.09 out of 5 the health characteristics of Modern Hanok would affect their health. At current housing market where users' viewpoint and roles function more importantly than ever, the result of this study will contribute to enhance the comprehensive understanding about the health characteristics of Modern Hanok through empirical study on what the users think and expect.

The Contemporary animation style based on technology become various within some categories and genres as recreating the importance and meaning of many formalities. According to the variation of the contemporary animation style, The computer animation that has affected on continuous development of science and its following broad-band culture takes charge of the important position in producing the contemporary visual art. On this thesis, I will research < Ani-matrix > which has 9 episode each for the different Matrix world focused on its animation style. I will analyze their forms of expression into the both aspects of esthetics viewpoint technologically and film making style traditionally regarding to the matter of reality and reemergence on a viewpoint of a realistically esthetics. Also I will analyze mutual connection among the reinterpretation for the reality, philosophical message, and animation style within < Ani-Matrix> suggested by influence of Post-modernism. Thus, I intend to prospect the formation of animation style followed by its esthetics construction and effect on computer animation of the film genre.

This study analyzes the realities of computer curriculum to accommodate computer study as an elementary and secondary educational course of study, and reviews its value and character as a course of computer subject matter, and the strategy for organizing educational courses, reflecting those value and character, etc. First of all, the study raises some questions on the excessively instrumentaI and study-oriented approach of the computer educational curricula at this point of time, as well as summarizing and analyzing viewpoints from the related societies and experts on the character and distinctive feature of the computer study. And this study verifies that the character of computer study is pretty similar to the empirical meaning curriculum from the viewpoint of an educational scholar. Based on the foregoing, a strategy is needed to expand the extrinsic value of computer study as an elementary and secondary school educational curriculum, clarify the knowledge structure internally and to organize a computer subject curriculum which is closely related to daily life of students.
