Because the attenuation of AE signal in composite materials is relatively higher than that of metallic materials, it is required to develop a damage assessment technique less affected by the attenuation property of composite materials in order to use AE sensing as a damage detection method. In the signal processing procedure, it is profitable to use the leading wave that arrives first because the leading wave is less influenced by the boundary conditions. Using wavelet transform, we investigated the frequency characteristics of impact induced AE signals focused on the leading wave in advance and chose the key factors to discriminate the damaged condition quantitatively. In this research, we established a damage assessment technique using the sharing percentage of the wavelet detail components of AE signal, and conducted a low-velocity impact test on composite laminates to confirm the feasibility of the proposed signal processing method.

Positive affect has beneficial consequences in various life domains including social relational aspect. This study proposes that 'joy,' a highly arousing positive social emotion, promotes emotionally supportive reactions during a social interaction. In Study 1, after controlling for confounding personality characteristics (e.g., extraversion, agreeableness, adult attachment) and cognitive variables (e.g., empathy, self-esteem), positive affect predicted the amount of emotional support and enthusiasm one showed to a person who was describing a positive experience. The arousal dimension of positive emotion appeared to be the key in creating this outcome. Study 2 found that people were most likely to react in supportive ways (e.g., more laughing, emotion sharing, and active-constructive responses) to other's conversation after viewing a joy-inducing (rather than pride, awe, calm) film clip. These results partly explain why happy people are socially popular and suggest that one of the central functions of "joy" is to promote social bonding with others.

This paper analyses meta-data systems for serials in order to provide the fundamental infrastructure for serials-sharing systems based on semantic interoperability. According to the primitive features of serials information, meta-data for serials are classified into 3 main subsystems: serial identification Information, serial bibliographic information and serial holding information. The serial identification information that play the important role of the primary key in library management systems should be refined to accommodate serials with digital formats. Although MARC formats have been commonly used for the description of serial bibliographic information, a new meta-data format for serial bibliographic information that harmonize with the abundance of meta-data elements in MARC and the simplicity of DCMI. For serial holding information, the newly proposed standards such as ANSI/NSIO Z39.50 are adequate to grasp the varieties of serial holding patterns. It should be able to differentiate the level of description by means of the types of serial information services. As the current computing technology generally uses XML for the representation and Process of information, the meta-data system for serials should be based on XML.

Humanities-collaborated practices in various fields have been supported by several governmental policies as a way to overcome recent social problems. Museum, due to its roles in preserving and sharing cultural and historical heritage for the development of society and communities, has emerged as a key base for the humanities-collaborated practices. This study, in this context, aimed to analyze how the humanities-based museum education programs have been practiced in the museums, which, in turn, might provide a basic data for the future direction and development of the programs and the related governmental policy as well. For this purpose, this study first examined theoretical framework for the link between humanities and museum education, from which a survey was developed. The survey was conducted to 75 museum educators who have been in charge of humanities-based educational programs. The result showed that most programs seemed to reflect the basic direction and purpose of the humanities-linked with museum education. Yet, more needs were found in terms of the educational themes and methods which can facilitate multicultural literacy and reflective thinking and activities within experiential learning environments.

In this paper the Partnership's Influence on the Success of IT-Outsourcing is studied. Especially the role of "Partnership" as Intermediate is mainly researched. As the result we can see the fact that the economic factor does not affect the Partnership and the success of IT-Outsourcing, because the IT-Outsourcing can cause sometimes the increase of the cost. On the other hand strategic factor and technical factor affect directly the Success of IT-Outsourcing. This means that the Success of IT-Outsourcing depends on the close cooperation between customer and service provider, rather than on the following the contents of the Service Level Agreement(SLA). In consequences the Partnership based on the steady and fluent communication and the feeling of sharing the risk and benefit between two parties is the key factor for the Success of IT-Outsourcing.

The world is paying attention to the South Korean government's aggressive COVID-19 response, key of which is transparency and openness in sharing information. Opening up government information is essential to enhancing its social and economic value through increased awareness and accessibility. The purpose of this study is to investigate the current status of SNS operated by national open data portals in which government-collected and -disclosed data is available and to suggest improvements for the use of open data portals. To do this, the study compared 3 national open data portals, each from India, U.S.A, and Korea, by performing quantitative analysis, user feedback analysis, time-series analysis, and information type analysis. Based on the identified information types and user needs, the study suggests concrete ways to facilitate the use of open data portals.

As the influence of mankind's actions grows on the earth's climate, the necessity of climate change education is increasing everyday. Therefore, this study will discuss desirable courses about climate changes education that can be used throughout the world. It is meaningful to try to compare the contents and scope of earth global warming education courses of different nations. where education and a research about earth global warming occur simlutaneously. This is key because global warming is not just a national issue, but an international issue. Therefore this study need to understand the status of environmental education is over the world to devise an improvement plan help to solve the problem of climate change on an international level. Therefore, this study compared, the global warming educational contents which appeared in Korean textbooks to Japanese and American textbooks, and analyzed commonalities and differences of each. Also, we will discuss desirable global warming educational instructional strategies. This study analyzed the present situation of nations by looking at common points and differences using an analysis form. Even though the researchers of an each nation analyzed the teaching material through common analysis forms, this study utilized a common analysis method with a colleague researcher regarding environmental education, environment, environmental science to increase the validity of the study in each nation. Also the difference and similarities were aggregated as This study collected the analysis results of each nation. The researchers utilized the results of the analyses to engage in repeated discussion and the sharing of results.

The ferroelectric RAM (FeRAM) has a great advantage for a system on a chip (SOC) and mobile product memory, since FeRAM not only supports non-volatility but also delivers a fast memory access similar to that of DRAM and SRAM. This work develops at three levels: 1) low voltage operation with boost voltage control of bitline and plateline, 2) reducing bitline capacitance with multiple divided sub cell array, and 3) increasing chip performance with write operation sharing both active and precharge time period. The key techniques are implemented on the proposed hierarchy bitline scheme with proposed hybrid-bitline and high voltage boost control. The test chip and simulation results show the performance of sub-1.5 voltage operation with single step pumping voltage and self-boost control in a cell array block of 1024 ($64{\;}{\times}{\;}16$) rows and 64 columns.

In the system integration (SI) industry, improving relationships with outsourcing partners is one of the key challenges faced by SI companies that aim to increase productivity and reduce costs. In the SI industry, over 80% of project development work is performed by these outsourcing partners. Hence, large SI companies focus on fostering high-performing partners through improved cooperation and mutual relations. However, in the SI industry the existing process of managing outsourcing partners is unable to advance to the level of long-term partnerships due to inadequate information sharing and communication in the process of selecting and assessing a potential and existing partner. Based on the theory of partnership, this study identifies the success factors for new strategic partnerships. Further, this study presents a model for assessing partner companies to promote increased productivity and improve the relationship between an SI company and its partner. In addition, this model is used to assess partner relationships for a well-known SI company "A". This study explores the feasibility of a new framework model.

Recently, the Web 2.0 bas gained much attention as an advanced form of Web technology. It is well observed that openness, participation, and sharing are the key ideas of Web 2.0 among many desirable characteristics of the technology. Furthermore, Wiki is one of the best representing tools that reflect effectively most of the characteristics of Web 2.0. Wiki is widely used to provide a Web-based communication tool for collaborative writing and editing freely. Therefore, it may be used for collaborative learning so that students can learn how to interact online with each other effectively and also acquire communication skills in an affirmative way. In the paper, we will discuss how students can change their aggresive, offensive, judgemental attitudes to affirmative, aggreable, thoughtful ones by way of exposing them to collaborative learning environment using Wiki as their interactive communication tool.
