  • The manifold $^*g-ESX_n$ is a generalized n-dimensional Riemannian manifold on which the differential geometric structure is imposed by the unified field tensor $^*g^{{\lambda}{\nu}}$ through the ES-connection which is both Einstein and semi-symmetric. The purpose of the present paper is to study the algebraic geometric structures of 3-dimensional $^*g-ESX_3$. Particularly, in 3-dimensional $^*g-ESX_3$, we derive a new set of powerful recurrence relations in the first class.

  • Recently, we have introduced a group invariant, which is related to the number of elements $x$ and $y$ of a finite group $G$ such that $x{\wedge}y=1_{G{\wedge}G}$ in the exterior square $G{\wedge}G$ of $G$. This number gives restrictions on the Schur multiplier of $G$ and, consequently, large classes of groups can be described. In the present paper we generalize the previous investigations on the topic, focusing on the number of elements of the form $h^m{\wedge}k$ of $H{\wedge}K$ such that $h^m{\wedge}k=1_{H{\wedge}K}$, where $m{\geq}1$ and $H$ and $K$ are arbitrary subgroups of $G$.

  • This paper is a continuation of [1] and [3]. In [3], the notion of BCI-G parts of BCI-algebras was introduced and various properties were investigated. In this paper, we consider the inverse of [3; Theorem 15], and define a KG-union BCI-algebra and investigate their properties.

  • Given a C-dynamical system (A, G, $\alpha$) with a locally compact group G, two kinds of C-algebras are made from it, called the full C-crossed product and the reduced C-crossed product. In this paper, we extend the theory of the classical C-crossed product to the C-dynamical system (A, G, $\alpha$) with a left-cancellative semigroup M with unit. We construct a new C-algebra A $\alpha$rM, the reduced crossed product of A by the semigroup M under the action $\alpha$ and investigate some properties of A $\alpha$rM.

  • M. Cohen and S. Montgomery showed that a Maschke-type theorem for the smash product, which unlike the corresponding result for group actions, does not require any assumptions about the characterstic of the algebra. Our purpose in this paper is a Maschke-type theorem for the graded smash coproduct C⋊kG: let V be a right C⋊kG-comodule and W a C⋊kG-subcomoduleof V which is a C-direct summand of V. Then W is a C⋊kG-direct summand of V. Also this result is equivalent to the following : let V be a graded right C-comodule and W a graded subcomodule of V which has a complement as a C-subcomodule of V. Then W has a graded complement.

  • This paper continues a line investigation in [1]. Let A be a K-algebra and M an A/K-bimodule. In [5] Hamaguchi gave a necessary and sufficient condition for gDer(A, M) to be isomorphic to BDer(A, M). The main aim of this paper is to establish similar relationships for generalized ($\sigma$, $\tau$)-derivations.

  • An element in a ring R with identity is called invo-clean if it is the sum of an idempotent and an involution and R is called invoclean if every element of R is invo-clean. Let C(R) be the center of a ring R and g(x) be a fixed polynomial in C(R)[x]. We introduce the new notion of g(x)-invo clean. R is called g(x)-invo if every element in R is a sum of an involution and a root of g(x). In this paper, we investigate many properties and examples of g(x)-invo clean rings. Moreover, we characterize invo-clean as g(x)-invo clean rings where g(x) = (x-a)(x-b), a, b ∈ C(R) and b - a ∈ Inv(R). Finally, some classes of g(x)-invo clean rings are discussed.

  • Let K be a Galois extension of a field F with G = Gal(K/F). Let L be an extension of F such that $K\;{\otimes}_F\;L\;=\; N_1\;{\oplus}N_2\;{\oplus}{\cdots}{\oplus}N_k$ with corresponding primitive idempotents $e_1,\;e_2,{\cdots},e_k$, where Ni's are fields. Then G acts on $\{e_1,\;e_2,{\cdots},e_k\}$ transitively and $Gal(N_1/K)\;{\cong}\;\{\sigma\;{\in}\;G\;/\;{\sigma}(e_1)\;=\;e_1\}$. And, let R be a commutative F-algebra, and let P be a prime ideal of R. Let T = $K\;{\otimes}_F\;R$, and suppose there are only finitely many prime ideals $Q_1,\;Q_2,{\cdots},Q_k$ of T with $Q_i\;{\cap}\;R\;=\;P$. Then G acts transitively on $\{Q_1,\;Q_2,{\cdots},Q_k\},\;and\;Gal(qf(T/Q_1)/qf(R/P))\;{\cong}\;\{\sigma{\in}\;G/\;{\sigma}-(Q_1)\;=\;Q_1\}$ where qf($T/Q_1$) is the quotient field of $T/Q_1$.

  • Throughout the paper let A be a semifinite, infinite von Neumann algebra acting on a Hilbert space H, .alpha. an infinite cardinal. The main purpose of our work is to give several characterizations of a class of closed ideals in A, by introducing the notions of relative ranks of elements in A and the relative .alpha.-topology on H. The relative .alphi.-topology is an analogue to the .alpha.-topology that we have defined in ([7], [8]). The present work is regarded as an extension of [7], [8] and motivated by works of M. Breuer ([1], [2]), V. Kaftal ([5], [6]) and M.G. Sonis [9].
