It is known that there are no real hypersurfaces with parallel structure Jacobi operator $R_{\xi}$ (cf.[16], [17]). In this paper we investigate real hypersurfaces in a nonflat complex space form using some conditions of the structure Jacobi operator $R_{\xi}$ which are weaker than ${\nabla}R_{\xi}$ = 0. Under further condition $S\phi={\phi}S$ for the Ricci tensor S we characterize Hopf hypersurfaces in a complex space form.

We propose and analyze spectral and pseudo-spectral Jacobi-Galerkin approaches for weakly singular Volterra integral equations (VIEs). We provide a rigorous error analysis for spectral and pseudo-spectral Jacobi-Galerkin methods, which show that the errors of the approximate solution decay exponentially in $L^{\infty}$ norm and weighted $L^2$-norm. The numerical examples are given to illustrate the theoretical results.

본 논문은 정수론에 있어서 Legendre 기호의 응용인 Jacobi기호를 이용한 암호화 프로토콜의 정의, 성질 및 확장에 대해 논한다. 본 논문은 먼저 Legender기호와 Jacobi기호의 정의와 성질에 대하여 살펴보고 이를 이용한 프로토콜에 대한 설명을 하며 그 알고리즘을 구축하여 다른 프로토콜과의 비교를 통하여 이 프로토콜의 안전성과 신속성을 고찰한다.

In relation to the generalized Tanaka-Webster connection, we consider a new notion of parallel structure Jacobi operator for real hypersurfaces in complex two-plane Grassmannians and prove the non-existence of real hypersurfaces in $G_2({\mathbb{C}}^{m+2})$ with generalized Tanaka-Webster parallel structure Jacobi operator.

We consider Jacobi filds as the first derivatives for ${\varepsilon}$, the energy of harmonic extensions, in a given manifold. In this paper we see that the Jacobi fild is bounded by the given boundary map. Here we give no restriction concerned with the curvature for the given manifold.

Let N be the 3-dimensional Heisenberg group equipped with a left-invariant metric on N. We characterize the Jacobi fields and the conjegate points along a geodesic on N, which points out that Theorem 4 of [1] is not correct.

In this paper, we investigate some properties of Jacobi fields and conjugate points in a complete Riemannian manifold M. Also we get a necessary and sufficient condition about a geodesic without conjugate points in the manifold with non-negative curvature.
