Effect of group integrated intervention program combined animal-assisted therapy and integrated elderly play therapy on live alone elderly

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of a group integrated intervention program that simultaneously conducts cognitive activities, physical activities, emotional activities and social interactions by integrating animal-assisted therapy (AAT) and integrated elderly play therapy based on the cognitive functions and depression of the elderly who live alone. This study follows a pre-test post-test design with a nonequivalent control group, to verify the effectiveness of a group integrated intervention. It applies a group integrated intervention program to 20 elderly people who live alone, aged 65 and above (10 in the experimental group, 10 in the control group), once a week for 90 minutes across eight weeks. The study went through MMSE-K, TMT-A and GDSSF-A to assess cognitive functions and the level of depression. The group integrated intervention increased the cognitive functions of the experimental group and decreased levels of depression. Therefore, this study verified that a group integrated intervention program of AAT and integrated play therapy of the elderly, is an effective for increasing cognitive functions and decreasing depression levels of the elderly who live alone. Based on these findings, the study suggests that there is a need to continuously expand group integrated intervention programs and provide relevant political support.

  • The needs of integrated play and space for both healthy children and children with Disabilities is increasing due to positive effect of integrated play. However, existing plan of play space have not considered children with Disabilities as the user and Integrated Perspective what children and children with Disabilities can do together is insufficient. For these reasons, establishing guideline of the Barrier Free Play Space and Model Development is required to meet the New Paradigm's demands. The purpose of this research is to deduce present condition and problem of play space through the Actual Condition Analysis of domestic Play Space. This study have given careful consideration to the actual condition of play space for 3 types by Types of Installation method. As a result, there are many problems from research point of view and facilities for the disablilities too. Consequently, element of plan and facilities for the disabled which are problems should be shown the direction focused improvement, moreover major task is build a barrier free play space as a place of social integration.

  • The present study investigated the effects of a theme-relevant play center on children's play behavior and intersubjectivity with an integrated approach to early childhood education. The subjects were 24 kindergarten children (12 boys and 12 girls). Half of the experimental subjects participated in a novel dramatic play center connected with a specific theme for the duration of 5 weeks. pre- and post-testing was conducted for all children. The theme-relevant dramatic play center wits an integrated approach to early education facilitated a high level of play behavior and children's intersubjectivity.

장애-비장애 유아 통합 그룹에 적용된 이야기 기반 상호적 음악 활동에 따른 유아의 또래수용 및 놀이상호작용 변화 (Changes in Peer Acceptance and Play Interactions in Integrated Groups of Young Children With and Without Disabilities Through Story-Based Interactive Music Activities)

  • 본 연구는 통합 어린이집을 이용하는 장애-비장애 유아를 대상으로 이야기 기반 상호적 음악 활동이 유아의 놀이 상호작용 행동과 비장애 유아의 장애 유아에 대한 또래수용 태도에 미치는 영향을 확인하고자 하였다. 대상자는 만 3-5세의 발달장애 및 발달 지연 유아 6명, 비장애 유아 21명이다. 대상자는 통합 그룹과 비통합 그룹에 배정되어 30분씩 주 2회, 총 10회기의 중재에 참여하였다. 중재는 다양성 인식, 행동 전략 습득, 재경험 및 확장의 3단계로 구성되었으며, 매 회기 중재 이후 자유 놀이 중 나타나는 놀이 상호작용 행동을 측정하였고, 중재 전후에 사회적 측정법을 사용하여 비장애 유아의 또래수용 태도를 측정하였다. 연구 결과, 통합 그룹에 소속된 비장애 유아와 장애 유아의 상호놀이 단절이 유의하게 감소하고, 비장애 아동의 공동행동과 장애 유아의 공동주의가 유의하게 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 통합 그룹의 비장애 유아는 또래 수용 태도에서 유의한 변화가 없었고 비통합 그룹의 비유아는 장애또래에 대한 수용 태도가 유의하게 감소하였다. 본 연구 결과는 이야기 기반 상호적 음악 활동이 장애-비장애 유아 간 상호작용을 향상시키는 효과적인 중재가 될 수 있음을 보여 준다. 반면, 상호작용의 구체적인 변화에 비해 또래수용 태도에서의 미비한 결과는 유아들의 발달수준을 고려할 때 보다 장기적이고 체계적인 개입이 필요함을 시사한다. 또한 장애와 비장애 유아의 개별적 필요에 따른 맞춤형 개입의 중요성도 강조된다. 본 연구는 장애-비장애 유아의 사회적 통합을 위한 개입이 강조되는 시점에 체계적 중재 방향에 대한 중요한 시사점을 제시했다는 데 의의가 있다.

1세 영아의 언어와 놀이의 관계 (The Relationship between Infant's Language and Play)

  • This study explored the relationship between language and play of 42 infants(21 boys and 21 girls) from 13 months to 23 months old and examined how their maternal language and play were related to the infants' language and play. The play of infant-mother and maternal language were videotaped at home. The MacArthur Communicative Development Inventory-Korean(MCDI-K; Fenson, 1991; Pae, 1993) was used to measure infant's language. The score of the infants' receptive language was higher than that of expressive language. Mean level of the infant's play was in the relational play, that is, he/she integrated two or more toys in an inappropriate manner during the play. There was no significant sex difference in the total language scores and in their play. The development of the infant's language was positively correlated with the infant's play level. The maternal language and play were positively correlated with the infant's language and play development.

임상적 의사소통상황 관련 역할극을 선행한 통합실습프로그램의 개발 및 적용 (Development and Application of Integrated Nursing Practice Program preceded Role-play related to Clinical Communication Situation)

  • 본 연구는 일 대학 간호학생 115명을 대상으로 임상적 의사소통상황 관련 역할극을 선행한 통합실습프로그램을 개발 적용하고 적용 전과 후의 의사소통능력, 임상수행능력 및 문제해결과정 점수의 변화를 확인하고자 실시하였다. 통합실습 프로그램은 6개의 임상적 의사소통 상황 관련 시나리오를 활용한 역할극, 3개의 임상상황 관련 시나리오를 적용한 역할극, 3개의 핵심간호술기로 구성되었으며 매주 4시간씩 8주간 실시되었다. 자료수집기간은 2013년 3월부터 6월까지였으며 프로그램 전과 후에 자가보고식 설문지를 작성하게 하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 19.0을 이용하여 기술통계와 t-test를 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과, 통합실습프로그램 적용 후에 의사소통능력, 임상수행능력 및 문제해결과정 점수가 모두 유의하게 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 이에 본 연구에서 개발한 통합실습프로그램은 간호실습 교육을 위한 효과적인 방법이라고 생각하며 적극 활용할 것을 제안한다.

  • 현재 많이 보급되어 보편적인 이동단말장치로 사용되는 스마트폰은 USB등의 인터페이스를 지원하며 휴대성과 이동성이 편해 기존 모니터링 장비의 대체가 가능하다. 최근 방사능, 나트륨, 전자파 등의 주변 환경을 탐지하는 센서를 USB 액세서리 형태의 입력장치로 개발되어 많이 판매되고 있으나, 기존 방식의 센서 Plug and Play 기술을 스마트폰 USB 액세서리 장치를 연결하는데 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 스마트폰 USB 액세서리 Plug and Play를 위한 통합 앱 구조를 제안하고, 통합 앱과 센서 액세서리 플랫폼 그리고 센서 웹서버와의 데이터교환 방식을 설계하였으며 다양한 센서들의 측정 데이터를 하나의 앱에서 수집하고 표시할 수 있도록 구현하였다.

An Analysis on Simulator Scenarios for the Integrated Evaluation when Applied to Teamwork by Deck and Engine Officers

  • The evaluation systems in SHS(Ship Handling Simulator) or ERS(Engine Room Simulator) give trainees the opportunity to feedback how they responded suggesting them the operation result by scores. If SHS and ERS are integrated each other by network to enable the synchronous training for both deck and engine officers these systems need to include inherently the function of integrated evaluation which produces the evaluation score for the team play of deck and engine officers. The integrated evaluation is effective especially when assessing the responses at emergency situation of ship or the matter of efficiency of ship operation even if assessors feel difficult in editing simulation scenarios for integrated evaluation. This study focuses on the property of integrated evaluation and considerations when editing them. It suggests also a useful procedure to estimate whether a scenario for integrated evaluation is reasonable and balanced or not based on the analysis in the proprieties and reasonabilities which are to be prepared by assessors before testing trainees or examinees.

집단적 놀이치료가 발달장애아동의 사회성 기술 향상에 미치는 효과 (Effects of a Group Play Therapy of Social Skills in Children with Developmental Disorders)

  • Purpose. The purpose of this study is to investigate effects of group play therapy program on improvement of social skills of children with developmental disabilities. Methods. With 4-year children with developmental disabilities with developmental problems, group play therapy program with 16 sections, 40minutes for each section for 16 weeks was conducted, and by using Korean infant social skills test (K-SSRSP), social skills index (SSQ) between before and after applying group play therapy program on children with developmental disabilities were compared. Results. When group play therapy are applied on children with developmental disabilities, it was found that there was improvement of social skills including problem solving, emotional expression, sense of order and self-confidence. Conclusions. According to the result of this study, if more specific studies regarding group play therapy program are conducted and they can reflect on other integrated programs, then it is expected that there will be greater synergy effects on improving not only children with developmental disabilities but also social skills of them.

Fluorescent Compounds Having the Spaced and Integrated Type Receptors

  • Fluorescent receptors have gained much attention because of their usefulness in analysis and clarification of the roles of biomolecules in living systems. Molecular structures of the integrated type including that the receptor itself is fluorescent, and play an important role in having the functionality or selectivity of the fluorescent compounds. These spaced type fluorescent receptors are required to have special molecular design in order to transmit the information of molecular recognition to the fluorescent unit through the spacer unit. Compared with the spaced type fluorescent receptors, number of the integrated type receptors is limited due to the difficult molecular design and synthesis. Modification of alteration of the fluorophore frequently caused deterioration of the fluorescent property. Various spaced type and integrated type fluorescent receptors including switch on-off receptors are introduced in this article.
