A Study on the priority of core competencies for the "Korean Hidden Champion(K Champ)" : Focused on the manufacturing SME's in Gyeongsangnam-do

  • In a rapidly changing global environment and the massive development in IT technology, Manufacturing SMEs have difficulties in lack of resources and competencies continued to have strong growth potential "Korean Hidden Champion(K Champ)". In order to overcome the difficulties of Manufacturing SMEs, we examined the core competencies using the AHP and proposed the K Champ development strategy. The implications in the academic is as follows: First, the suggestions for development strategy plan was drawn for the K Champ's core competencies with the recognized importance by the CEO or business executives. Secondly, the manufacturing SMEs were broken down by industry structural characteristics variables(sales amounts, industry sectors, business types and delivery methods) and the importance was investigated, analyzed and clarified. This study is intended to develop strategies of Gyeongsangnam-do manufacturing SMEs for K Champ such as German 'Hidden Champion'. We identified the importance of the level of core competencies and the coherent alternative policy direction and practical alternative were proposed. These mean the concrete relationship of core competencies for the K Champ transition and suggest a realistic directional needed for the local manufacturing SMEs in the proposed 'Government's Development Policy for Korean Hidden Champion'.

IT프로젝트 관리자의 리더십 역량 : 팀 내 사회적 자본 관점에서 (Leadership Competencies of IT Project Managers : from Team Social Capital Perspective)

  • This study explores the applicability of social capital theory in IT project management. Specifically, an empirical model is developed using different types of leadership competencies (emotional, cognitive, and social) as independent constructs impacting IT project performance. Social capital shared among team members are measured and placed as a mediating construct between leadership competencies and performance. Using PLS analysis of 120 data points collected through a survey of IT project participants in two large electronic manufacturers, direct and indirect impacts of leadership competencies are explicated. Research results reveal that emotional leadership competency seems to directly influence the project performance but not through team social capital, while social leadership competency seems to indirectly influence the project performance through team social capital but not directly onto the project performance. Cognitive leadership competency is the only leadership competency that maintains direct and indirect influence on project performance. Total effect of cognitive competency on project performance is almost two times larger than the total effect of emotional leadership competency and six times larger than the total effect of social leadership competency. Implications of findings are discussed at the end, and further studies are suggested.

예비 공업교사의 직업기초능력과 교사효능감과의 상관관계 연구 (A study on the Correlation between Key Competencies and Teacher Efficacy of Pre-service Industrial Teachers)

  • 이 연구는 예비 공업교사들의 직업기초능력과 교사효능감이 개인적 배경변인과 관련지어 어느 정도인지 파악하고, 직업기초능력과 교사효능감과의 상관관계를 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이는 예비 공업교사들의 직업기초능력 이해도와 교사효능감을 신장시키기 위한 예비 교원 양성 프로그램에 기초자료를 제공할 수 있을 것이다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예비 공업교사의 교사효능감은 모두 보통(M=3.0)이상으로 나타났으며, 교수효능감(M=3.41)이 개인효능감(M=3.28)보다 다소 높게 나타났다. 배경변인에 따른 교사효능감의 유의한 차이를 분석한 결과, 성별과 전공은 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났으며 학년별에 따른 교사효능감의 교수효능감은 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 예비 공업교사의 직업기초능력 하위영역은 모두가 평균 3점대로 나타났다. 성별과 학년별은 유의미한 차이는 없는 것으로 나타났으며, 직업기초능력의 글로벌 역량만 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 예비 공업교사의 성별과 전공은 교사효능감과 직업기초능력 모두가 상관관계가 없는 것으로 나타났으며 학년 변인은 교사효능감(r=.274) 및 직업기초능력(r=.168)과 유의한 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 마지막으로 예비 공업교사의 직업기초능력과 교사효능감은 r=.475로 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

도시주부의 소비자능력과 관련요인 (Consumer Competencies of Urban Wives and Related Variables)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate consumer competencies of urban wives an variables on it. The framework of this study was consumer socialization theory. The results were as follows; 1. There were significant differences in competencies of urban wives according to employment status, interaction with family members, interaction with peers and frequency of media exposure. 2. Employment status, interaction with family members and frequency of media exposure were independent influencing factors on consumer competencies of urban wives. 3. Reviewing a causal model, the results were as follows. Employment status, interaction with family members and frequency of media exposure had an effect on consumer competencies of urban wives directly. (Korean J Human Ecology 1(2):23~30, 1998)

A Study on Major Curriculum Based on Individual's Capacities-Focused on Physical Therapy Department in U University

  • Purpose: Since core competence-based training is in demand, this study aimed to develop a suitable talent model and major competencies for the Department of Physical Therapy at U University and use it to propose appropriate educational subjects. Methods: This case study was conducted at U university in Gyeongju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do. To study curricula based on major competence, related documents were analyzed, expert opinions were obtained, and a consumer survey was conducted. Results: U University assigns major competencies for each department, develops subjects accordingly, maps them, and constructs a competency matrix. The four major competencies of physical therapy were defined as musculoskeletal system, nervous system, cardiorespiratory system and sports injury, and physical management abilities. In order to realize these major competencies, U University added subjects to its curriculum. Conclusion: The results of internal and external environmental analysis should be more actively considered to enable changes in subjects at the departmental level. In addition, the setting of major competencies should be subjected to more detailed, specific reviews to maintain the basic principles of major curricula.

과학교과에서의 핵심역량에 대한 세계의 동향에 준거하여 우리나라 현장 교사들의 인식 연구 (Study on Korean Science Teachers' Perception in Accordance with the Trends of Core Competencies in Science Education Worldwide)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 영국, 호주, 뉴질랜드, 캐나다 온타리오주, 싱가포르 및 우리나라의 과학교과 핵심역량에 대한 동향을 조사하여 과학교육을 통해 기를 수 있는 핵심역량이 무엇인가을 알아보는 것이었다. 또한, 현장 과학교사들이 핵심역량 기반의 과학수업에 대해 어떻게 인식하고 있는지를 탐색하고, 특히 최근 핵심역량 기반의 과학교육과정을 접한 경기도 지역 교사들이 어떻게 인식하고 있는지를 알아보는것이었다. 외국의 역량 기반 과학과 교육과정을 탐색하기 위해 각종 문헌연구를 실시하였으며, 현장 과학교사들의 인식 조사를 위해, 135명의 초 중 고등학교 교사들에게 설문을 실시하였다. 외국의 역량기반 과학과 교육과정 탐색 결과, 각 국가들의 공통적인 특징으로 '범교과 역량과의 연계', '과학 내용과 과학 활동의 결합', '의사소통 능력중시', '역량별 성취 수준 제시' 등이 나타났다. 또한, 각국에서 강조하는 과학과 핵심역량으로는, '비판적 사고력', '창의적 사고력', '문제해결력', '탐구능력', '의사소통능력', '문화적 이해력', '학문간 통합능력', '적용능력', '개인적 역량과 사회적 역량'이 있었다. 현장 과학교사들은 현재 핵심역량에 대한 인지정도 및 과학수업에서의 실행 정도는 보통으로 생각하고 있었으나, 가르쳐야 한다는 움직임과 가르칠 의사에는 긍정적인 인식을 보임으로써, 필요성에 대해서는 공감하고 있었다. 중요한 핵심역량으로는, 초 중 고 세 학교급 모두에서 '창의적 사고력', '문제 해결력', '탐구 능력'을 꼽았으며, 교육 요구도가 가장 높은 역량은 '창의적 사고력'이었다. 경기도 지역의 교사들이 다른 일반지역의 교사들보다 핵심역량에 대한 인지정도가 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 핵심역량 기반의 과학 수업이 과학적 태도와 의사소통능력 형성에 큰 도움이 된다고 보았다. 그러나 수업 운영 방법에 익숙하지 않은 점, 많은 수업 준비시간 등을 어려운 점으로 꼽았다.

한국의 환자 중심 의사 역량 프레임 타당화를 위한 델파이 연구 (A Delphi Study to Validate the Patient-Centered Doctor's Competency Framework in Korea)

  • Defining a competent doctor is important for educating and training doctors. However, competency frameworks have rarely been validated during the process of their development in Korea. The purpose of this study was to validate the patient-centered doctor's competency framework, which had been developed by our expert working group (EWG). Two rounds of Delphi questionnaire surveys were conducted among a panel of experts on medicine and medical education. The panel members were provided with six core competencies, 17 sub-competencies, and 53 enabling competencies, and were asked to rate the importance of these competencies on a 5-point Likert scale. Between April and July 2021, a total of 28 experts completed both rounds. The data of the Delphi study were analyzed for the mean, standard deviation, median, inter-rater agreement (IRA), and content validity ratio (CVR). A CVR >0.36 and IRA ≥0.75 were deemed to indicate validity and agreement. This study found that five enabling competencies were not valid, and agreement was not reached for three sub-competencies and two enabling competencies. In consideration of CVR and the individual opinions of panel members at each session, the final competencies were extracted through consensus meetings of the EWG. The competencies were modified into six core competencies, 16 sub-competencies, and 47 enabling competencies. This study is meaningful in that it proposes patient-centered doctor's competencies enabling the development of residents' milestone competencies, an assessment system, and educational programs.

예비교사 테크놀로지 활용 역량의 중요도와 실행도 분석 (Importance and Performance Analysis of Pre-service Teachers' Competencies related to the Use of Technology)

  • 본 연구는 TPCK 모델을 활용하여 초등 예비교사들의 테크놀로지 활용과 관련한 역량 실태를 분석하고, 중요도-실행도 분석을 통하여 테크놀로지 활용 교육에서 개선해야 할 사항들을 우선순위를 분류하여 제안하였다. C대학교 4학년에 재학중인 예비교사 165명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문도구를 사용하여 테크놀로지 지식(TK), 테크놀로지 교수지식(TPK), 테크놀로지 내용지식(TCK), 테크놀로지 교수 내용지식(TPCK)과 관련한 중요도와 실행도에 대하여 예비교사의 인식을 알아보았다. 중요도와 실행도 차이를 분석하고자 t검정을 실시한 결과, TK, TPK, TCK와 TPCK 각 역량 뿐 아니라 모든 17개의 세부 역량들에 대해 중요도와 실행도 간에 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 또한 중요도-실행도 분석을 실시한 결과, 우선적으로 집중하여 개선해야 할 세부 역량 5가지, 좋은 성과를 보이기에 유지해야 할 세부 역량 4가지, 저순위를 두어야 할 세부 역량 5가지 그리고 과잉 노력을 지양해야 할 세부 역량 3가지를 제안하였다.

공업계 고등학교 학생들의 직업기초능력 수준과 중요도에 대한 집단 간 인식차이 (A Study on the Difference between Groups in Perception of the Level and Importance of the Key Competencies of Technical High School Students)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 공업계 고등학교 학생들의 직업기초능력 수준과 중요도를 측정하고 향상방안을 제시하는 것이다. 이 연구의 대상자는 공업계 고등학교에서 산학협동교육을 담당하는 담당자 12명과 기업체 현장실습 담당자 7명 이었다. 이 연구의 결과 직업기초능력의 여러 부분에서 산학협동교육 담당 교사와 기업체 업무 담당자 사이에 인식차가 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 영어문서이해능력에서는 두 집단 모두 수준과 중요도를 낮게 평가하여 직업기초능력으로 재고할 필요가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 기존 직업기초능력에 추가되어야 할 능력으로는 한자 독해능력, 경청 능력 등으로 밝혀졌다. 직업기초능력을 향상시키기 위해서는 공업계 고등학교 학생들이 습득해야할 직업기초능력의 수준을 정확히 규명하고, 이를 근거로 직업기초능력을 측정할 수 있는 도구의 개발이 뒤따라야 할 것이다.

작업치료과 대학생의 직업기초능력, 구직효능감 및 진로준비행동의 관계 (The Relationship between Occupational Basic Competencies, Job Searching Efficacy, and Career Preparation Conduct and Attitude of Occupational Therapy Students)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to understand the correlations between occupational basic competencies, job searching efficacy and career preparation behavior of department on occupational therapy students. Methods : The subjects of this study were 103 occupational therapy students in D college. The data collection period was from July 1, 2018 to July 30, 2018. The collected data was processed using SPSS 21.0 and were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test and Pearson's correlation coefficient. Results : The mean scores for occupational basic competencies, job searching efficacy and career preparation behavior of the occupational therapy students were 3.61 (${\pm}0.59$), 3.58 (${\pm}0.61$) and 3.31 (${\pm}0.66$) respectively. The occupational basic competencies score of the Occupational Therapy students was significantly differed according to their age (t=-2.13, p=.03) and grade point average (F=15.01, p=.00). The job searching efficacy of the Occupational Therapy students was significantly different by grade point average (F=3.40, p=.02). There were no significant differences in job preparation behaviors among occupational therapy students according to gender, age, grade and grade point average. There was a positive correlation between occupational basic competencies and job searching efficacy (r=.675, p<.01), between occupational basic competencies and career preparation behavior (r=.455, p<.01), between job searching efficacy and career preparation behavior (r=.702, p<.01). Conclusion : The results of this study suggest the following: It is necessary to repeat this study with a greater number and range of subjects. In addition, it suggests that the progress of study should be developed and continued and refined in order to identify factors that affect the career preparation behavior of students of occupational therapy. In addition, the development of a program and the application of a curriculum to promote occupational basic competencies and job searching efficacy should be a priority.
