  • In this paper, we formally introduce the notion of a general parametric digamma function Ψ(−s; A, a) and we find the Laurent expansion of Ψ(−s; A, a) at the integers and poles. Considering the contour integrations involving Ψ(−s; A, a), we present some new identities for infinite series involving Dirichlet type parametric harmonic numbers by using the method of residue computation. Then applying these formulas obtained, we establish some explicit relations of parametric linear Euler sums and some special functions (e.g. trigonometric functions, digamma functions, Hurwitz zeta functions etc.). Moreover, some illustrative special cases as well as immediate consequences of the main results are also considered.

  • A large number of series and integral representations for the Stieltjes constants (or generalized Euler-Mascheroni constants) ${\gamma}_k$ and the generalized Stieltjes constants ${\gamma}_k(a)$ have been investigated. Here we aim at presenting certain integral representations for the generalized Stieltjes constants ${\gamma}_k(a)$ by choosing to use four known integral representations for the generalized zeta function ${\zeta}(s,a)$. As a by-product, our main results are easily seen to specialize to yield those corresponding integral representations for the Stieltjes constants ${\gamma}_k$. Some relevant connections of certain special cases of our results presented here with those in earlier works are also pointed out.

  • We first review Ramaswami's find Apostol's identities involving the Zeta function in a rather detailed manner. We then present corrected, or generalized formulas, or a different method of proof for some of them. We also give closed-form evaluation of some series involving the Riemann Zeta function by an integral representation of ζ(s) and Apostol's identities given here.

  • In this paper we define the (p, q)-analogue of Bernoulli numbers and polynomials by generalizing the Bernoulli numbers and polynomials, Carlitz's type q-Bernoulli numbers and polynomials. We also give some interesting properties, explicit formulas, a connection with (p, q)-analogue of Bernoulli numbers and polynomials. Finally, we investigate the zeros of the (p, q)-analogue of Bernoulli polynomials by using computer.

  • In this paper, we consider a modified Euler polynomials ${\tilde{E}}_{n,q}(x)$ with variable $[x]_q$ and investigate some interesting properties of the Euler polynomials. We also give some relationships between the modified Euler polynomials and their Hurwitz zeta function. Finally, we derive some identities associated with Bernstein polynomials.

  • The main object of this paper is first to give tow contiguous analogues of a well-known hypergeometric summation formula for $_2$F$_1$(1/2). We then apply each of these analogues with a view to evaluating the sums of several classes of series in terms of Psi(or Digamma) and the Zeta functions. Relevant connections of the series identities presented here with those given elsewhere are also pointed out.

  • In this paper, by using q-deformed bosonic p-adic integral, we give $\lambda$-Bernoulli numbers and polynomials, we prove Witt's type formula of $\lambda$-Bernoulli polynomials and Gauss multiplicative formula for $\lambda$-Bernoulli polynomials. By using derivative operator to the generating functions of $\lambda$-Bernoulli polynomials and generalized $\lambda$-Bernoulli numbers, we give Hurwitz type $\lambda$-zeta functions and Dirichlet's type $\lambda$-L-functions; which are interpolated $\lambda$-Bernoulli polynomials and generalized $\lambda$-Bernoulli numbers, respectively. We give generating function of $\lambda$-Bernoulli numbers with order r. By using Mellin transforms to their function, we prove relations between multiply zeta function and $\lambda$-Bernoulli polynomials and ordinary Bernoulli numbers of order r and $\lambda$-Bernoulli numbers, respectively. We also study on $\lambda$-Bernoulli numbers and polynomials in the space of locally constant. Moreover, we define $\lambda$-partial zeta function and interpolation function.

  • The double Gamma function had been defined and studied by Barnes [4], [5], [6] and others in about 1900, not appearing in the tables of the most well-known special functions, cited in the exercise by Whittaker and Waston [25, pp. 264]. Recently this function has been revived according to the study of determinants of Laplacians [8], [11], [15], [16], [19], [20], [22] and [24]. Shintani [21] also uses this function to prove the classical Kronecker limit formula. Its p-adic analytic extension appeared in a formula of Casson Nogues [7] for the p-adic L-functions at the point 0.
