  • In this paper, the integral operator is used. We give a new Hilbert-type integral inequality, whose kernel is the homogeneous form with degree - $\lambda$ and with three pairs of conjugate exponents and the best constant factor and its reverse form are also derived. It is shown that the results of this paper represent an extension as well as some improvements of the earlier results.

  • In this paper we consider inverse problem for a general class of nonlinear stochastic differential equations on Hilbert spaces whose generating operators (drift, diffusion and jump kernels) are unknown. We introduce a class of function spaces and put a suitable topology on such spaces and prove existence of optimal generating operators from these spaces. We present also necessary conditions of optimality including an algorithm and its convergence whereby one can construct the optimal generators (drift, diffusion and jump kernel).

  • A similarity transformation of a solution of the Cauchy problem for the linear difference equation in Hilbert space has been studied. In this manuscript, we obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for linear equivalence of the discrete semigroup of operators, generated by the solution of the difference equation utilizing four Canonical semigroups.

  • A vector space K with scalar product <.,.> is called a Krein space if it can be decomposed as a northogonal sum of a Hilbert space and an anti-space of a Hilbert space. The space K induces a Hilbert space $K_{J}$ in the inner product <.,.> $K_{J}$=<.,.>K, where $J^{2}$=I. the eigenspaces of J are denoted by $K^{+}$$_{J}$, which is a Hilbert space and $K^{-}$$_{J}$, which is an anti-space of a Hilbert space. Then the Krein space K is the orthogonal sum of $K^{+}$$_{J}$ and $K^{-}$$_{J}$. Such a decomposition of K is called a fundamental decomposition. In general, fundamental decompositions are not unique. The norm of the Hilbert space depends on the choice of a fundamental decomposion, but such norms are equivalent. The topology generated by these norms is called the strong or Mackey topology of K. It is used to define all topological notions on the Krein space K with respect to this topology. The Pontryagin index of a Krein space is the dimension of the antispace of a Hilbert space in any such decomposition. the dimension does not depend on the choice of orthogonal decomposition. A Krein space is called a Pontryagin space if it has finite Pontryagin index.dex.yagin index.dex.

  • A fundamental problem is to construct linear systems with given transfer functions. This problem has a well known solution for unitary linear systems whose state spaces and coefficient spaces are Hilbert spaces. The solution is due independently to B. Sz.-Nagy and C. Foias [15] and to L. de Branges and J. Ball and N. Cohen [4]. Such a linear system is essentially uniquely determined by its transfer function. The de Branges-Rovnyak construction makes use of the theory of square summable power series with coefficients in a Hilbert space. The construction also applies when the coefficient space is a Krein space [7].

  • In this work, we establish Heisenberg-type uncertainty principle for the Bessel-Struve Fock space ${\mathbb{F}}_{\nu}$ associated to the Airy operator $L_{\nu}$. Next, we give an application of the theory of extremal function and reproducing kernel of Hilbert space, to establish the extremal function associated to a bounded linear operator $T:{\mathbb{F}}_{\nu}{\rightarrow}H$, where H be a Hilbert space. Furthermore, we come up with some results regarding the extremal functions, when T are difference operators.

  • We find the Hilbert function and the minimal free resolution of a star-configuration in $\mathbb{P}^n$. The conditions are provided under which the Hilbert function of a star-configuration in $\mathbb{P}^2$ is generic or non-generic We also prove that if $\mathbb{X}$ and $\mathbb{Y}$ are linear star-configurations in $\mathbb{P}^2$ of types t and s, respectively, with $s{\geq}t{\geq}3$, then the Artinian k-algebra $R/(I_{\mathbb{X}}+I_{\mathbb{Y})$ has the weak Lefschetz property.

  • This paper establishes the Baum-Katz type theorem and the Marcinkiewicz-Zymund type strong law of large numbers for sequences of coordinatewise negatively associated and identically distributed random vectors {X, Xn, n ≥ 1} taking values in a Hilbert space H with general normalizing constants $b_n=n^{\alpha}{\tilde{L}}(n^{\alpha})$, where ${\tilde{L}}({\cdot})$ is the de Bruijn conjugate of a slowly varying function L(·). The main result extends and unifies many results in the literature. The sharpness of the result is illustrated by two examples.

  • Interfacial cracks bonded with dissimilar transversely isotropic piezoelectric media that are subjected to combined anti-plane mechanical and in-plane electrical loading are analyzed. The problem is formulated using complex function theory, from which the Hilbert problem is derived. By solving the Hilbert problem, the general form solution is obtained. Using this solution, closed-form solutions for one or two finite cracks as well as a semi-infinite crack are obtained, for the problem in which one concentrated mechanical and electrical load is imposed on the crack surface. This solution could be used as a Green's function to generate solutions to other problems with the same geometry but different loading conditions.
