  • This study explores high school gifted students' perception of cheating in school using the concept mapping method. The map shows the gifted students' concept structure and the different perception between gifted and non-gifted students on cheating. For the purpose, 63 high school gifted students participated at the brainstorming stage to gather the possible related statements. Finally, 64 statements were confirmed and these were divided and evaluated by 13 focus group students. Then, they were analyzed by multidimensional scaling and processed by hierarchical cluster analysis. The results compiled from this procedure show that high school gifted students' perception of cheating is classified into five clusters: "unacceptable cheating behaviors of friends", "an inseparable relation among social structure, giftedness and cheating", "conflict, coping skills, and tolerance related to the cheating", "immorality in one's inner person" and "the judgement based on morality and social justice". In addition, 150 gifted students and 160 non-gifted students checked the degree of agreement to each statement with the likert 6 points scale and the result showed that there was no significant difference in two clusters, "unacceptable cheating behaviors of friends" and "the judgement based on morality and justice", while it turned out that there were significant perception gaps in three clusters, "inseparable relation among social structure, giftedness and cheating", "conflict, coping skills, and tolerance related to the cheating" and "immorality in one's inner person". Implications of the study related to the gifted students' moral behaviors were discussed in depth.

  • This study reviews preceding research for detailed factors to establish development strategies for Korean Hidden Champion firms and classifies strategy factors into internal ones and external ones through specialists' opinions to draw strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of each factor. It also sets hierarchical model to draw up a survey, distributes the survey to groups of specialists and enterprises respectively and then examines consistency ratio. Fifty-four copies of survey whose reliability on responses is secured through examining the consistency ratio are evaluated with their relative importance in factors by using SWOT/AHP technique and their order of priority is determined. Based on their results, development strategies for Korean Hidden Champion firms are established. SWOT/AHP analyses results show that external factors are with the opportunity of industry growth and the threat of intensified competition and market uncertainty and internal factors are with the strength in order of technological competence, construction competence in customer relation and marketing competence. The weakness in the lack of funds, lack of brand awareness in order. This result suggests that external environments of enterprises that more emphasis should be put on the industry growth and aggressive strategies cannot help but be adopted even in a global competition getting fiercer every day are seen more important. Then, it also seems to be thought that the technological competence including R&D and specialization, construction competence in customer relation and marketing competence should internally chosen for strategies to support strategies. The order of priority in development strategies for Korean Hidden Champion firms is drawn as; (i) aggressive S/O strategy which utilizes opportunities by taking advantage of strengths, (ii) W/O strategy which utilizes opportunities by supplementing weaknesses, (iii) diversified S/T strategy which utilizes strengths to make up for threats and (iv) defensive W/T strategy which supplements weaknesses to overcome threats.

  • According to the Credit Information Act, in order to protect customer information by relationship of credit information subjects, it is destroyed and stored separately in two stages according to the period after the financial transaction effect is over. However, there is a limitation in that the destruction of personal credit information of customers whose financial transaction effect has expired cannot be collectively destroyed when the transaction has been terminated, depending on the nature of the financial product and transaction. To this end, the IT person in charge is developing a computerized program according to the target and order of destruction by investigating the business relationship by transaction type in advance. In this process, if the identification of the upper relation between tables is unclear, a compliance issue arises in which personal credit information cannot be destroyed or even information that should not be destroyed because it depends on the subjective judgment of the IT person in charge. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a model and algorithm for identifying the referenced table based on SQL executed in the computer program, analyzing the upper relation between tables with the primary key information of the table, and visualizing and objectively selecting the range to be destroyed. presented and implemented.

  • Since there are differences in the content, structure and functions of interpersonal communication during the practice of school science classes, it needs to articulate the difference of the modality of pedagogical practice in order to understand science teaching in detail. These characteristics of science teaching can be investigated by further insightful analysis on language in the science classroom. In this study, classroom discourse language codes using Bernstein's code theory were analyzed in the case of a middle school science class on the unit of minerals. The discourse language code was identified by the value of classification, which revealed power relations to the contexts of discourse and participants of discourse. It was also identified by the value of framing, which showed hierarchical relation between teacher and students as discourse subjects, and discursive control on the initiative of discourse. The results addressed that six types of discourse language codes were constructed and that those language codes reflected diverse modalities of science teaching from student-centered instruction to teacher-centered instruction in relation to classroom discourse. The modality of science teaching according to the transition tendencies of discourse language code showed dynamic variations of 'controlled student-centeredness inducing teaching' - 'positional student-centeredness permissive teaching' - 'controlled students' participation permissive teaching' - 'controlled student-centeredness facilitative teaching' - 'student-centeredness enhancing teaching'. In addition, results released that discursively and hierarchically weak control of discourse is necessary for enhancing student-centeredness of science teaching. Moreover, teaching practice enhancing student-centeredness can be accomplished by the harmony of a teacher's perception of discourse language code and his/her orientation to constructivist teaching and student-centered teaching.

  • This paper describes and constructs object-oriented analysis models using Galois-lattices that we are always studying in discrete mathematics, shows fundamental approaches to maintain the models, analyzes the construction of object-oriented analysis models through good examples. Also, we define several properties of Galois-lattices that have binary relations between class objects, propose the incremental updating algorithms that can update the Galois-lattice whenever new classes are added. This proposal shows that in case of adding new class nodes the results from simulations can implement in constant time and have linearly the incremental structures in worst cases, and in that the growth rate of lattices is proportioned to class nodes in time complexity. This results can achieve the high understandability of object-oriented analysis models and the high traceability of maintenance models. Furthermore it is possible to make more efficient performances of class reusability in advantages of object-oriented systems and support truly the class hierarchical maintenances.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between children and adolescents' moral emotions - empathy, guilt and gratitude - and helping behavior. For this study, questionnaires on empathy, guilt, gratitude and helping behavior were administered to 938 students in the 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th, 10th and 11th grades attending elementary, middle and high school in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. The data were analyzed through frequency analysis, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, enter multiple regression analysis and hierarchical multiple regression analysis by using SPSS Win 12.0. The main findings of this study are as follows: Firstly, by gender, empathy, guilt and helping behavior differed significantly, also, by grade, empathy, guilt, gratitude and helping behavior differed significantly. In addition, religion made a significant difference in empathy, gratitude and helping behavior. Secondly, variables influencing helping behavior were found to differ by developmental stage. The variable influencing the helping behavior of elementary school students was found to be empathic concern. For middle school students, guilt was found to influence their helping behavior, while for high school students, perspective-taking was found to be the key variable. Thirdly, gratitude was found to have a partial mediating effect on the relation between empathy(or guilt) and helping behavior.

  • This study examined the relationship among temperament, social support and hope of institutionalized children. A total of 198 children, aged 10 to 13, recruited from 20 institutions in Seoul participated. Demographics, temperament, social support from friends, institution-family and school teacher, and hope were assessed by self-report. Results showed that in bivariate level, temperament and social support were significantly associated with level of hope. However, hierarchical multiple regressions indicated that children's hope was predicted only by age and social support from friends, institution-family and school teacher. That is, temperament was not contributed to predict hope, whilst social support contributed unique variance to the prediction of hope, controlling for age. The more social support the children felt they had, the higher levels of hope they reported. Further analyses revealed that support from friends, institution-family and school teacher were influential factors in explaining hope agency, while support from institution-family and school teacher were influential factors in explaining hope pathway of institutionalized children, controlling for age.

  • This study investigated the interaction between consonants and vowels in Korean syllable perception using a speeded classification task (Garner, 1978). Experiment 1 examined whether listeners analytically perceive the component phonemes in CV monosyllables when classification is based on the component phonemes (a consonant or a vowel) and observed a significant redundancy gain and a Garner interference effect. These results imply that the perception of the component phonemes in a CV syllable is not linear. Experiment 2 examined the further relation between consonants and vowels at a subphonemic level comparing classification times based on glottal features (aspiration and lax), on place of articulation features (labial and coronal), and on vowel features (front and back). Across all feature classifications, there were significant but asymmetric interference effects. Glottal feature.based classification showed the least amount of interference effect, while vowel feature.based classification showed moderate interference, and place of articulation feature-based classification showed the most interference. These results show that glottal features are more independent to vowels, but place features are more dependent to vowels in syllable perception. To examine the three-way interaction among glottal, place of articulation, and vowel features, Experiment 3 featured a modified Garner task. The outcome of this experiment indicated that glottal consonant features are independent to both the place of articulation and vowel features, but the place of articulation features are dependent to glottal and vowel features. These results were interpreted to show that speech perception is not abstract and discrete, but nonlinear, and that the perception of features corresponds to the hierarchical organization of articulatory features which is suggested in nonlinear phonology (Clements, 1991; Browman and Goldstein, 1989).
