On a Question of Closed Maps of S. Lin

  • Let X be a regular $T_1$-space such that each single point set is a $G_{\delta}$ set. Denot 'hereditarily closure-preserving' by 'HCP'. To consider a question of closed maps of S. Lin in [6], we improve some results of Foged in [1], and prove the following propositions. Proposition 1. $D\;=\;\{x{\in}X\;:\;\mid\{F{\in}\cal{F}:x{\in}F\}\mid{\geq}{\aleph}_0\}$ is discrete and closed if $\cal{F}$ is a collection of HCP. Proposition 2. $\cal{H}\;=\;\{{\cup}\cal{F}'\;:\;F'$ is an fininte subcolletion of $\cal{F}_n\}$ is HCP if $\cal{F}$ is a collection of HCP. Proposition 3. Let (X,$\tau$) have a $\sigma$-HCP k-network. Then (X,$\tau$) has a $\sigma$-HCP k-network F = ${\cup}_n\cal{F}_n$ such that such tat: (i) $\cal{F}_n\;\subset\;\cal{F}_{n+1}$, (ii) $D_n\;=\;\{x{\in}X\;:\;\mid\{F{\in}\cal{F}_n\;:\;x{\in}F\}\mid\;{\geq}\;{\aleph}_0\}$ is a discrete closed set and (iii) each $\cal{F}_n$ is closed to finite intersections.

  • The constructed closed recycling system discussed in this technical report will be economically viable in future for the production of fish and vegetable in earth, space station and space colony, further, it will contribute a lot in the prevention of pollution in the world's ecological system. To make combined system, water management (Nitrification) is required, and it took 45 days to breed microorganism which facilitates this process. After this period , the recycle was confirmed to be working .Using derived equations, the expected nutrient characteristics of waste water were determined and it was found that the resulting nutrient balance was almost same as that in hydroponic solution when KOH was added to maintain pH level. Reverse osmosis (RO) system could solve the problem of the low nutrient concentration . It was found that plants grow well in fish waste water which was produced using RO system. RO system could combine fish and plant production through the advantageous use of separated high concentration water for plant and permeated water for fish in integrated combined system.

  • Let $\mathcal{F}(B)$ be the Fresnel class on an abstract Wiener space (B, H, ${\omega}$) which consists of functionals F of the form : $$F(x)={\int}_H\;{\exp}\{i(h,x)^{\sim}\}df(h),\;x{\in}B$$ where $({\cdot}{\cdot})^{\sim}$ is a stochastic inner product between H and B, and $f$ is in $\mathcal{M}(H)$, the space of all complex-valued countably additive Borel measures on H. We introduce the concepts of an $L_p$ analytic Fourier-Feynman transform ($1{\leq}p{\leq}2$) and a convolution product on $\mathcal{F}(B)$ and verify the existence of the $L_p$ analytic Fourier-Feynman transforms for functionls in $\mathcal{F}(B)$. Moreover, we verify that the Fresnel class $\mathcal{F}(B)$ is closed under the $L_p$ analytic Fourier-Feynman transform and the convolution product, respectively. And we investigate some interesting properties for the $n$-repeated $L_p$ analytic Fourier-Feynman transform on $\mathcal{F}(B)$. Finally, we show that several results in [9] come from our results in Section 3.

SPECTRAL DUALITIES OF MV-ALGEBRAS

  • Hong and Nel in [8] obtained a number of spectral dualities between a cartesian closed topological category X and a category of algebras of suitable type in X in accordance with the original formalism of Porst and Wischnewsky[12]. In this paper, there arises a dual adjointness S $\vdash$ C between the category X = Lim of limit spaces and that A of MV-algebras in X. We firstly show that the spectral duality: $S(A)^{op}{\simeq}C(X^{op})$ holds for the dualizing object K = I = [0,1] or K = 2 = {0, 1}. Secondly, we study a duality between the category of Tychonoff spaces and the category of semi-simple MV-algebras. Furthermore, it is shown that for any $X\;\in\;Lim\;(X\;{\neq}\;{\emptyset})\;C(X,\;I)$ is densely embedded into a cube $I^/H/$, where H is a set.

GENERALIZED m-QUASI-EINSTEIN STRUCTURE IN ALMOST KENMOTSU MANIFOLDS

  • The goal of this paper is to analyze the generalized m-quasi-Einstein structure in the context of almost Kenmotsu manifolds. Firstly we showed that a complete Kenmotsu manifold admitting a generalized m-quasi-Einstein structure (g, f, m, λ) is locally isometric to a hyperbolic space ℍ2n+1(-1) or a warped product ${\tilde{M}}{\times}{_{\gamma}{\mathbb{R}}$ under certain conditions. Next, we proved that a (κ, µ)'-almost Kenmotsu manifold with h' ≠ 0 admitting a closed generalized m-quasi-Einstein metric is locally isometric to some warped product spaces. Finally, a generalized m-quasi-Einstein metric (g, f, m, λ) in almost Kenmotsu 3-H-manifold is considered and proved that either it is locally isometric to the hyperbolic space ℍ3(-1) or the Riemannian product ℍ2(-4) × ℝ.

  • Throughout the paper let A be a semifinite, infinite von Neumann algebra acting on a Hilbert space H, .alpha. an infinite cardinal. The main purpose of our work is to give several characterizations of a class of closed ideals in A, by introducing the notions of relative ranks of elements in A and the relative .alpha.-topology on H. The relative .alphi.-topology is an analogue to the .alpha.-topology that we have defined in ([7], [8]). The present work is regarded as an extension of [7], [8] and motivated by works of M. Breuer ([1], [2]), V. Kaftal ([5], [6]) and M.G. Sonis [9].

A NOTE ON WEYL'S THEOREM FOR *-PARANORMAL OPERATORS

  • In this note we investigate Weyl's theorem for *-paranormal operators on a separable infinite dimensional Hilbert space. We prove that if T is a *-paranormal operator satisfying Property $(E)-(T-{\lambda}I)H_T(\{{\lambda}\})$ is closed for each ${\lambda}{\in}{\mathbb{C}}$, where $H_T(\{{\lambda}\})$ is a local spectral subspace of T, then Weyl's theorem holds for T.

  • Orthomodular lattice is a mathematical description of quantum theory which is based on the family CS(H) of all closed subspaces of a Hilbert space H. A partial multiplier is a function F from a non-empty subset D of a commutative semigroup A into A such that F(x)y = xF(y) for every elements x, y in A. In this paper, we define the notion of multipliers on orthomodular lattices and give some properties of multipliers. Also, we characterize some properties of orthomodular lattices by multipliers.

  • In this paper, we study the following extended generalized variational inequality problem, introduced by Noor (for short, EGVI) : Given a closed convex subset K in q-uniformly smooth Banach space B, three nonlinear mappings T : $K\;{\rightarrow}\;B^*$, g : $K\;{\rightarrow}\;K$, h : $K\;{\rightarrow}\;K$ and a vector ${\xi}\;{\in}\;B^*$, find $x\;{\in}\;K$, $h(x)\;{\in}\;K$ such that $\xi$, g(y)-h(x)> $\geq$ 0, for all $y\;{\in}\;K$, $g(y)\;{\in}\;K$. [see [2]: M. Aslam Noor, Extended general variational inequalities, Appl. Math. Lett. 22 (2009) 182-186.] By using sunny nonexpansive retraction $Q_K$ and the well-known Banach's fixed point principle, we prove existence results for solutions of (EGVI). Our results extend some recent results from the literature.

  • Let$P{\rightarrow}M$ be an oriented $S^2-fiber$ bundle over a closed manifold M and let Q be its associated SO(3)-bundle, then we investigate the ring structure of the cohomology of the total space P by constructing the coupling form TA induced from an SO(3) connection A. We show that the cohomology ring of total space splits into those of the base space and the fiber space if and only if the Pontrjangin class $p_1(Q)\;{\in}\;H^4(M;\mathbb{Z})$ vanishes. We apply this result to the twistor spaces of 4-manifolds.
