  • By establishing a new summation formula for the series $_3F_2(\frac{1}{2})$, recently Rathie and Pogany have obtained an interesting result known as Kummer type II transformation for the generalized hypergeometric function $_2F_2$. Here we aim at deriving their result by using a very elementary method and presenting two elegant results for certain terminating series $_3F_2(2)$. Furthermore two interesting applications of our new results are demonstrated.

In this note, we aim to show how one can establish, in an elementary way, two generalized formulas involving $_0F_1$ which include the above-mentioned identities as special cases. interesting identities involving 0F1, which

  • In this present paper, our aim is to introduce an extended Wright-Bessel function $J^{{\lambda},{\gamma},c}_{{\alpha},q}(z)$ which is established with the help of the extended beta function. Also, we investigate certain integral transforms and generalized integration formulas for the newly defined extended Wright-Bessel function $J^{{\lambda},{\gamma},c}_{{\alpha},q}(z)$ and the obtained results are expressed in terms of Fox-Wright function. Some interesting special cases involving an extended Mittag-Leffler functions are deduced.

  • The aim of this research is to provide twenty five integrals involving hypergeometric function in the form of a single integral. Fifty two interesting integrals follow as special cases of our main findings. These results are obtained with the help of generalized Watson's theorem on the sum of a $_3$F$_2$ recently obtained by Lavoie, Grondin and Rathie. The integrals given in this paper are simple, interesting and easily established, and they may be useful.

  • A remarkably large number of integrals whose integrands are associated, in particular, with a variety of special functions, for example, the hypergeometric and generalized hypergeometric functions have been recorded. Here we aim at presenting certain (presumably) new and (potentially) useful integral formulas whose integrands are involved in a product of $_2F_1$, Srivastava polynomials, and $Kamp{\acute{e}}$ de $F{\acute{e}}riet$ functions. The main results are derived with the help of some known definite integrals obtained earlier by Qureshi et al. [4]. Some interesting special cases of our main results are also considered.

  • In this short research note, we aim to provide a new proof of classical Dixon's summation theorem for the series $_3F_2$ with unit argument. The theorem is obtained by evaluating an infinite integral and making use of classical Gauss's and Kummer's summation theorem for the series $_2F_1$.

  • The main objective of this paper is to obtain a formula containing eleven interesting results for the reducibility of Kamp$\acute{e}$ de F$\acute{e}$riet function. The results are derived with the help of two general results for the series $_2F_1(2)$ very recently presented by Kim et al. Well known Kummer's second theorem and its contiguous results proved earlier by Rathie and Nagar, and Kim et al. follow special cases of our main findings.

  • We aim at presenting certain unexpected functional relations among various hypergeometric functions of one or several variables (for example, see the identities in Corollary 5) by making use of Carlson's method employed in his work (Some extensions of Lardner's relations between $_0F_3$ and Bessel functions, SIAM J. Math. Anal. 1(2)(1970), 232-242).

  • Several useful and interesting extensions of the various special functions have been introduced by many authors during the last few decades. Various integral formulas associated with Wright function have been studied and a noteworthy amount of work have found in literature. The principal object of the present paper is to evaluate finite integral formulas containing the product of orthogonal polynomials with generalized Wright function. These integral formulas are expressed in terms of Srivastava and Daoust function. Some interesting particular cases are obtained from the main results by specialising the suitable values of the parameters involved.
