SMEs are constantly demanded of changes in the rapidly-evolving business environment, which involves the fourth industrial revolution and the COVID-19 pandemic. In this period, management consulting service becomes more in demand to provide technical and strategic solutions for management problems. This study aimed to empirically analyze the direct effects of emotional intelligence on job satisfaction and the indirect effects of such parameters as learning agility and self-efficacy on job satisfaction in management consultants. On the basis of a literature review, inter-variable association was designed in the research model. Based on an online survey of those in the Korean SME management consultants, this study collected 221 questionnaires then used structural equation modeling for statistical analysis. The results reveal that emotional intelligence significantly affected job satisfaction and, also significantly positively affected learning agility and self-efficacy. In addition, a significant indirect correlation could be found between learning agility and self-efficacy. Meanwhile, if learning agility and self-efficacy mediated job satisfaction, emotional intelligence had no significant effect on job satisfaction and fully mediated learning agility and self-efficacy. It is necessary to develop an emotional intelligence education program that can help management consultants improve their emotional intelligence with the objective of giving successful management consulting services.

Correlation analysis between variables was conducted with the collected data, and regression analysis was conducted to verify the mediating effect of emotional intelligence in the relationship between the job environment of daycare centers and teacher efficacy. Results: First, there was a positive correlation between job environments, teacher efficacy, and teacher emotional intelligence. Second, job environments and teacher emotional intelligence had a significant direct effect on teacher efficacy and teacher emotional intelligence also had a significant indirect effect between job environments and teacher efficacy. Conclusion/Implications: The way to improve the quality of child care is to improve the quality of teachers. Among the teacher's competencies, it is very important to increase teacher efficacy. Teacher efficacy plays a very important role in the quality of childcare and the healthy development of toddlers and children. Second, in order to verify the effects, the empathy reading education program was studied and conducted on 104 grade 5 students in 'A' elementary school in U city, Gyeonggi-do. In conclusion, the empathy reading education program has a positive effect on the empathy ability and emotional intelligence of elementary school students.
This study explored differences in maternal parenting behaviors, children's emotional intelligence, and daily hassles by children's sex and types of aggression. Subjects were 200 children in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade and their mothers from four elementary schools. Instruments were the Maternal Parenting Behaviors Scale (Kim, 2006), the Emotional Intelligence Scale (Lee, 1997), the Daily Hassles Scale(Min & Yoo, 1998), and the Peer-nomination Measure (Crick, 1995; Crick & Grotpeter, 1995). Data were subjected to descriptive statistical analysis and multivariate analysis of variance. Findings revealed that the relational aggressive group had higher emotional intelligence and more daily hassles; girls had higher level of daily hassles than boys. Maternal parenting behaviors did not differ by child's sex and type of aggression.
The purpose of this study was to examine differences in emotional intelligence, social competence and school life satisfaction between institutionalized and home reared children. In total, 584 grade 4, 5, and 6 students were used for this study, 305 of which were institutionalized and 279 home reared. Collected data were subjected to descriptive and comparative statistical analysis. Significant differences were found in emotional intelligence, social competence and school life satisfaction between institutionalized and home reared children. Positive correlations were established among emotional intelligence, social competence and school life satisfaction for both groups of children.

The purpose of this study is to identify the relationships among childcare teachers' emotional intelligence, daycare center directors' emotional leadership, and teacher-infant interactions. Also, this study examines whether a daycare center director's emotional leadership would mediate the correlation between a childcare teacher's emotional intelligence and teacher-infant interactions. A questionnaire was given to 293 childcare teachers. Using SPSS version 21.0, the data were analyzed for Pearson's correlation, hierarchical regression analysis, the Sobel-test, and the meditation effect proposed by Baron and Kenny. The findings are as follows. First, there was a positive correlation between a childcare teacher's emotional intelligence, the director's emotional leadership, and teacher-infant interactions. Second, the influence on teacher-infant interactions from directors' emotional leadership was relatively greater than childcare teachers' emotional intelligence. Finally, the emotional leadership of daycare center directors partially mediated the relationship between childcare teachers' emotional intelligence and teacher-infant interactions. This study provides significant empirical data for improving childcare.
The study was done to investigate the mediating effects of communication ability on the relationship among self-awareness, empathy, emotional intelligence and interpersonal competence of nursing students. Data on subject's self-awareness, empathy, emotional intelligence and interpersonal competence were collected using a structured self-reporting questionnaire. During September and December 2019, data were collected from 282 nursing students in J and K cities. Data were analyzed using three-step mediated regression analysis with the SPSS WIN 21.0 programs. Self-awareness, empathy, emotional intelligence and communication ability were positively correlated with interpersonal competence of nursing students. Also, communication ability had a partial mediating effect on the relationship among self-awareness, empathy, emotion intelligence and interpersonal competence. These finding indicate that it will be more effective to education strategies that can increase self-awareness, empathy, emotional intelligence and communication ability together when developing education programs that improve interpersonal competence.

Subjects were 268 5-year-old kindergarten children who were composed of 131 male children and 137 female children. The collected data were analyzed by using t-test, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression. The major results of this study were as follows: First, female children showed higher emotional intelligence than male children. Second, there was no signifiant difference between male children and female children in their giftedness. Third, controlling for children's IQ, utilization of emotion, appraisal and expression of self-emotion, and relationship with peers were predictable variables of children's giftedness. Among the subareas of emotional intellignece, utilization of emotion was the most important predictor in explaining children's giftedness. The results showed that there was significant relationship between children's emotional intelligence and their giftedness.

The purpose of this study was to discover the relevance between the psychological well-being of highschool students and their emotional intelligence, which functioned as a representative adjustment index in their daily life, as well as their interior-exterior control. To attain this purpose, this study targets as research subjects 402 students who were freshman at two different high schools of Jeju City. The results were as follows. First, female students had a higher level of emotional intelligence than male students had. Second, those with greater feeling of psychological well-being had higher emotional intelligence and interior-exterior control. Third, the psychological well-being had a positive effect on emotional intelligence and interior-exterior control. According to this survey, we need to recognize that there is a close relationship between psychological well-being and emotional intelligence. We also need to strengthen the ability of students to better understand other people through the affective rather than the subject-centered cognitive aspect of counseling education and activities. There is also a need to strengthen their social skills that gives them the ability to deal with and act wisely in human relationship. This can be achieved through counseling education and programs that can promote better understanding of their psychological well-being as well as influencing interior-exterior control.
