Differences between vocational education and training and vocational competency according to the career movement path of middle-aged Koreans (한국 중·장년층의 직업이동경로에 따른 직업교육훈련 및 직업역량의 차이)

  • The purpose of this study is to grasp the difference in vocational education and training and vocational competency according to the career movement path, targeting middle-aged Koreans (ages 40 to 64) who have experience in vocational mobility. A survey was conducted for a month in February 2020, and among the 1,224 data, 845 middle-aged adults who had moved within the last 5 years were selected. First, 69.0% of them moved to work, and 48.2% of them moved to 'employment→employment'. Second, among all groups, 80.6% did not participate in vocational education and training. Third, the 'employment→employment' group had the highest perception of job basic ability and job competency and job seeking skills compared to other groups. And the job competency of middle-aged workers who moved from 'employment to unemployment and housework (childcare)' appeared to be slightly lower than those of other groups.

  • The smartphone is simply beyond the means of communication equipment, to line up the turning point of mobile convergence, is recognized as a service tool of new concept the camera, game, multimedia function, digital multimedia broadcasting, mobile internet etc, that use of smartphone is working toward developed a variety and new business models. The study is empirically studied casualties that self-determination influences flow and satisfaction which is intrinsic motivation of smartphone. There are many studies on flow, is intrinsic motivation, influencing satisfaction and Loyalty, but there are little studies which variables influences flow. this study is explore causality of autonomy, competence, relatedness which are major variables of self-determination theory that studied factors effecting intrinsic motivation influencing flow and satisfaction. This study developed a research model to explain the use of smartphone, and collected 670 survey responses from the office workers of seoul S company who had experiences with such smartphone. To prove the validity of the proposed research model, SEM analysis is applied with valid 670 questionnaires. The results, firstly, autonomy positively influences flow. secondly, competence significantly influences flow. thirdly, relatedness significantly influenced flow. also, upper above results shows that flow influences satisfaction.

A Study on the Effects of Empowerment Perception Level on Job Satisfaction of Hairdresser (헤어 미용사들의 지각된 임파워먼트가 직무만족에 미치는 영향)

  • This study attempted to determine differences between the perceived empowerment level and job satisfaction depending on hairdressers' demographic characteristics and analyze the effects of their empowerment on job satisfaction. For this, a total of 310 hairdressers in Gwangju-Jeonnam and Seoul-Gyeonggi-do were chosen through convenience sampling, and then a questionnaire survey was conducted. The valid 277 copies were used for final analysis. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, ANOVA, Duncan's test, and multiple regression analysis were conducted using SPSS 15.0. The study results found the following: First, in terms of the subordinate factors of empowerment, the following four factors were found: meaningfulness, self-determination, competence, and impact. Second, depending on demographic characteristics (e.g., age, career, type of beauty salon, job title, punch-in time, monthly pay), a statistically significant difference was found between empowerment and job satisfaction (p<.01). Third, hairdressers' perceived empowerment level had a positive impact on job satisfaction (p<.01). In terms of the empowerment on job satisfaction by sub-factor, 'self-determination' was largest, followed by 'meaningfulness' and 'competence.' Therefore, beauty salon owners need to manage their business more efficiently by converging cosmetology and business management by expanding empowerment among hairdressers properly after recognizing the importance of hairdresser empowerment.

Alternatives to Improving the Curriculum of Teacher Training Institutions to Enhance Future Responsiveness (미래 대응력 제고를 위한 교원양성기관의 교육과정 개선 방안)

  • The purpose of this study was to strengthen the practicality of preliminary teachers in preparation for future education, to respond to structural changes in the teacher training system due to a decrease in the school-age population, and to seek a future-oriented direction for the curriculum of teacher training institutions. To this end, we analyzed the competency diagnosis items of the teacher training institutes in the 5th cycle from 2019 to 2020, and based on the proposal for the development plan for the teacher training system announced by the Ministry of Education in July 2021 and the contents of the 4 discussions, content was presented. The results were as follows. First, to nurture creative and convergence-type talents, teacher training institutions need to develop multi-curricular competency and reorganize the curriculum into a future-oriented curriculum. Second, in order to foster the competence of teachers and preliminary teachers in teacher training institutions, it is essential to strengthen the competence of teachers through the introduction of the metaverse, general teaching methods, and ICT-using teaching methods. Third, teachers' training institutions will introduce and strengthen the 'education practice teacher homeroom system' to strengthen school field-oriented practical competencies, 'dedicated mentor-mentee' centered on seniors and juniors, 'monitoring system' led by university professors, and 'probationary teacher system'

An Empirical Study on the Success Factors of Digital Classical Music (클래식 음원의 흥행요인에 관한 실증적 연구)

  • This study conducted an exploratory empirical analysis on the factors affecting the performance of digital classical music based on signaling theory. For this purpose, using the classical weekly chart provided by the music platform Genie, 297 digital music sources that entered the top 100 chart from March 2020 to October 2020 (35 weeks). In this study, as signals that can influence consumers' choice to listen to classical nusic, we set an the artist's award history, artist's broadcast content linkage, taking the top spot in the first classical music chart entry, producing companies' competency, and the popularity of classical music repertoire. The effect of these signals on the chart success of digital classical music was verified subsequently. As a result of the verification, it was found that the artist's broadcast content linkage, taking the top spot in the first classical music chart entry, and the popularity of the classical music repertoire indeed had a positive effect on the chart success of a classical music. On the other hand, the artist's award history and the producing companies' competence did not significantly affect the chart success of digital classical music. This study is the first empirical study on the success factors of digital classical music performed from a business perspective, and is expected to contribute to subsequent studies related to classical music.

  • The importance of coaching leadership has been highlighted to enhance creativity and competence of human resources in convergence environment. This paper was validated through a structural relationships model, the impact of coaching leadership on behavioral dimensions of organizational effectiveness by focusing on mediating role of job characteristics. Coaching leadership activities showed a significant positive effect on job characteristics and turnover intentions. Job characteristics appear to have a mediating effect on the relationship between coaching leadership and organizational effectiveness, especially the coaching leadership itself not necessarily to improve organizational citizenship behavior, can increase organizational citizenship behavior when formed into a positive awareness of the job characteristics of organizational members.

  • This research draws the factors of managerial performance that was verified by research model and hypothesis after considering research type, factors of performance and research model. The result of this research is as below. Firstly, psychological traits, capabilities of CEO is positively correlated with cost superior tactic and organizational effectiveness Secondly, entrepreneurial capability of CEO is positively correlated with organizational effectiveness for and managerial capability of CEO is positively correlated with cost superior tactic and technical capability of CEO is positively correlated with organizational effectiveness. Thirdly, technical resource is positively correlated with product innovation differentiation tactic, and organizational effectiveness and finance resource is positively correlated with marketing differentiation tactic and organizational effectiveness, and marketing capability is positively correlated with product differentiation tactic, marketing. Fourthly, product innovation-differentiation tactic, marketing differentiation tactic, and cost superior tactic are positively correlated with organizational effectiveness.

  • As the world economy has been changed into the knowledge-based society, all economic activities have globalized and intensified competition in the marketplace, and the forces of these changes are even more aggressively pressuring today's business. According to many businesses are focused on the core competence and various functions are outsourced by service providers, many firms pay heavily attention to business service. Although the importance of business service, domestic business service industry shows a low labor productivity. On the other hand, foreign business service companies in korea take a substantial portion of business service market. Thus, domestic business service needs to increase a competitiveness because of potential growth opportunities. This study attempts to find out the ripple effect of business service industry on other industry.

Convergence Relationship between Global Citizenship, Self leadership and Global Health Competencies in Nursing Students (간호대학생의 세계시민의식, 셀프리더십과 국제보건역량과의 융복합적 관계)

  • The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship between global citizenship, self leadership and global health competencies in nursing students and utilize the basic data for development of educational program to increase of global health competence. A convenience sample of 207 subjects were invited from three university. Data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA and Pearson's Correlation with SPSS PC 18.0 program. Global health competencies showed that there were differences according to religion, taking education related to global health competency, exposure to mass media about global health. There were a significant positive correlation of global citizenship(r=.364, p<.01), self leadership(r=.372, p<.01) and the global citizenship of nursing students showed a significantly positive correlation of self leadership(r=.463, p<.01). Therefore, on the result of this study, when we develop the educational programs to increase the global health competencies for nursing students, we have to include global citizenship and self leadership.

The effect of managerial ability on income smoothing (경영자 능력이 이익유연화에 미치는 영향)

  • Firms perform various actions that affect management performance measurement by managing the volatility and capital cost of reported income through income smoothing. This study attempted to analyze with a focus on the relationship between managerial competence and income smoothing. Therefore, this study attempted to analyze and focus on the relationship between managerial competency and profit softening using a measure of managerial competency presented in Demerjian et al. (2012). The results of the analysis are as follows. It was confirmed that there was a significant positive relationship between manager ability and income smoothing at the 1% level. When managers make income, it can be interpreted that managers with superior ability can make profits better by accurately predicting the future. It is the same result as the expectation of this study that managers with excellent ability have high incentives to soften profits by reducing profit volatility through more accurate forecasting. Therefore, this study empirically analyzed that managers with excellent abilities are more effective in implementing income smoothing strategies.
