  • Consider a hypersurface $M^n$ in $\mathbb{R}^{n+1}$ with $n$ distinct principal curvatures, parametrized by lines of curvature with vanishing Laplace invariants. (1) If the lines of curvature are planar, then there are no such hypersurfaces for $n{\geq}4$, and for $n=3$, they are, up to M$\ddot{o}$bius transformations Dupin hypersurfaces with constant M$\ddot{o}$bius curvature. (2) If the principal curvatures are given by a sum of functions of separated variables, there are no such hypersurfaces for $n{\geq}4$, and for $n=3$, they are, up to M$\ddot{o}$bius transformations, Dupin hypersurfaces with constant M$\ddot{o}$bius curvature.

  • We study the asymptotic expansion in small time of the mean distance of Brownian motion on Riemannian manifolds. We compute the first four terms of the asymptotic expansion of the mean distance by using the decomposition of Laplacian into homogeneous components. This expansion can he expressed in terms of the scalar valued curvature invariants of order 2, 4, 6.

  • We define a kind of sectional curvature and 𝛿-invariants for statistical manifolds. For statistical submanifolds the sum of the squared mean curvature and the squared dual mean curvature is bounded below by using the 𝛿-invariant. This inequality can be considered as a generalization of the so-called Chen inequality for Riemannian submanifolds.

  • B. Y. Chen introduced a series of curvature invariants, known as Chen invariants, and proved sharp estimates for these intrinsic invariants in terms of the main extrinsic invariant, the squared mean curvature, for submanifolds in Riemannian space forms. Special classes of submanifolds in Sasakian manifolds play an important role in contact geometry. F. Defever, I. Mihai and L. Verstraelen [8] established Chen first inequality for C-totally real submanifolds in Sasakian space forms. Also, the differential geometry of slant submanifolds has shown an increasing development since B. Y. Chen defined slant submanifolds in complex manifolds as a generalization of both holomorphic and totally real submanifolds. The slant submanifolds of an almost contact metric manifolds were defined and studied by A. Lotta, J. L. Cabrerizo et al. A Chen first inequality for slant submanifolds in Sasakian space forms was established by A. Carriazo [4]. In this article, we improve this Chen first inequality for special contact slant submanifolds in Sasakian space forms.

  • We provide some relations between CR invariants of boundaries of strongly pseudoconvex domains and higher order asymptotic behavior of certain complete K$\ddot{a}$hler metrics of given domains. As a consequence, we prove a rigidity theorem of strongly pseudoconvex domains by asymptotic curvature behavior of metrics.

  • In this study, we investigate the explicit characterization of spherical curves using the Flc (Frenet like curve) frame in Euclidean 3-space. Firstly, the axis of curvature and the osculating sphere of a polynomial space curve are calculated using Flc frame invariants. It is then shown that the axis of curvature is on a straight line. The position vector of a spherical curve is expressed with curvatures connected to the Flc frame. Finally, a differential equation is obtained from the third order, which characterizes a spherical curve.

  • In the present paper, screen isotropic leaves on lightlike hypersurfaces of a Lorentzian manifold are introduced and studied which are inspired by the definition of isotropic immersions in the Riemannian context. Some examples of such leaves are mentioned. Furthermore, some relations involving curvature invariants are obtained.
