간호대학생의 문제해결 적극성과 시스템 사고능력이 회복탄력성에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Proactivity in Problem Solving and System Thinking on Resilience of Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 문제해결 적극성과 시스템 사고능력이 간호대학생의 회복탄력성에 영향을 주는 변인인지 알아보기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 1개 대학의 간호학과 2학년 학생 236명을 대상으로 2019년 11월 11일부터 11월 29일까지 자료수집을 하였다. 자료분석은 빈도와 백분율, t-test, 상관분석 및 위계적 회귀분석을 사용하였다. 연구 결과 문제해결 적극성(r=.76, p<.001)과 시스템 사고능력(r=.80, p<.001)은 회복탄력성과 유의한 상관관계가 있었다. 위계적 회귀분석의 최종단계에서 간호학 전공 적응도, 문제해결 적극성, 시스템 사고능력은 회복탄력성에 영향을 주는 주요 요인인 것으로 나타났으며 이들은 회복탄력성을 71.4% 설명하였다(F=34.17, p<.001). 그러므로 간호대학생의 회복탄력성을 강화하기 위해서는 문제해결 적극성과 시스템 사고능력을 간호 핵심역량으로 포함하여 교육과정을 운영할 필요가 있겠다.

일 지역 초등학생의 성문제 행동 (The Sexual Problem Behavior of the Primary School Students in a Region)

  • Purpose: This study was executed to investigate the route of the sexual knowledge acquisition and the sexual problem behavior of primary school students in a region. Method: The subjects of this research who were primary school 5, 6 grade students of 990 people were chosen at random in big cities, small towns and rural areas in Jeonbuk province. Result: The route of the sexual knowledge acquisition was through taking lesson & teacher in the school(40.6%), the peer group or senior member(26.1%), internet(15.3%), parents(10.0%), and multimedia(8.0%). The domain of the sexual problem behavior showed sexual impulse 3.8%, sexual violence 3.7%, masturbation 2.7%, voyeur 1.8%, prostitution 0.8%, transvestism 0.5%, exhibitionism 0.1%. The sexual problem behavior experienced by 5.0% or more of the subjects showed the experience of another person's compulsory touching on their body, the embrace desire and the kiss desire with opposite sexual friend. And the biggest sexual problem behavior of the subjects was sexual violence and sexual impulse to opposite sexual friend. The experience rate of the 6 grade was higher than that of the 5 grade (p<.05) and the male students' experience rate of another person's compulsory touching on their body showed higher than that of the female students(p<.05). Conclusion: The author through these findings suggests that systematic programs and curriculum should be developed for sexual problem behavior prevention.

3학년 학생의 역량수준과 관련 요소 (Level of Third-Year Students' Competency and Correlating Curricular Factors)

  • The purpose of this study was to assess third-year medical students' competency for development or revision of the undergraduate curriculum and assessments. One hundred and twenty-seven third-year medical students at the Pusan National University were included in the study. After third- and fourth-year students took a common written examination, clinical performance examination (CPX), and objective structured clinical examination (OSCE) with common items as a summative assessment, the third-year students' competency was compared with 132 forth-year students' results. The correlation of the written examination and CPX/OSCE was analysed, and the summative results were compared with the grade point average (GPA) through the second year, CPX/ OSCE in the second year, and GPA in the clerkship. On the written examination, the third-year students' mean score was lower than the fourth-year students' by over 11 points, whereas the gap in the CPX/OSCE was 4 points and there was no difference in the OSCE. There was a moderate correlation between the written examination and the CPX/OSCE scores (R=0.371, p<0.01). The written examination was highly correlated with GPA through the second year, which mainly evaluated medical knowledge (R=0.771, p<0.01). A relatively high correlation was observed between CPX/OSCE scores and GPA in the clerkship (R=0.641, p<0.01). The summative CPX/ OSCE scores showed a moderate correlation with formative CPX/OSCE scores in the second year (R=0.464, p< 0.01). The third-year students' score was quite low on the written examination and slightly low on the CPX/OSCE compared to that of the fourth-year students. The written examination and CPX/OSCE cannot replace each other and should be combined with other methods of evaluation to measure competency. Early OSCE and workplacebased assessment should be useful in the early assessment of clinical skills competency.

의예과 의생명연구과정의 요인들이 교육효과와 학습만족에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 (Factors That Influence Educational Effectiveness and Learning Satisfaction in Biomedical Research Programs during Premedical School)

  • Although student research programs have been implemented worldwide, research programs during premedical school have unique characteristics. The purpose of this study is to evaluate factors that influence the effects of premedical school research programs. Eighty second-year premedical students at Pusan National University were included in the study. Effect elements and influential factors were extracted through reference reviews and in-depth individual interviews. A Likert scale questionnaire was developed using the extracted elements and factors, and Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to analyze the reliability of the survey. The mean value and the standard deviation for each question were calculated to evaluate education effectiveness and learning satisfaction, and the influence of each factor on effect was analyzed using correlation analysis. Students' research skills and knowledge were improved in the short term; however, interest in research or in a career as a researcher did not increase. Student interest, participation, and contributions were important factors. Among professors, passion, considerateness, and teaching method including the level of lesson were influential factors. Implementation of curriculum and support and guidance were influential as well, whereas evaluation system was not a factor. To improve student research programs, several factors that influence education effectiveness and learning satisfaction should be considered.

간호학생의 학습성과 달성과 연계된 시뮬레이션 실습 설계와 운영 (Planning and Applying Simulation-based Practice for the Achievement of Program Outcomes in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to plan and apply simulation-based practice for raising the achievement of program outcomes (POs) in nursing students. Methods: Using convenience sampling, 95 nursing students participated in this descriptive study. A self-reported questionnaire was used to measure the achievement of POs (self-directed learning, problem-solving ability, critical thinking) and usefulness of curriculum in addition to observing tracheal suction skills using a checklist. Results: A scenario with a pneumonia patient was developed to observe tracheal suction skills during simulation-based practices. Self-directed learning, problem-solving ability, and critical thinking were then scored. The mean scores of performance skill, self-directed learning, problem-solving ability, critical thinking were $37.82{\pm}6.03$. $3.61{\pm}0.38$, $3.61{\pm}0.33$, and $3.73{\pm}0.32$, respectively. All students passed the simulation-based practice in terms of performance ability and met the required achievement level for the POs at this university. Students with good suction skills showed significant differences in problem identification (p=.044) and alternative development (p=.019), which are components of problem-solving ability, compared to students with only fair skills. Conclusion: These findings indicate that simulation-based practice related to an adult nursing respiratory course was useful for evaluating the achievement of POs in nursing students. Further study is needed to develop a universal method of outcome measurement.

요양보호사 교육생을 위한 기본심폐소생술 교육프로그램 개발 및 효과 (Development and effects of basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation education program for trainee care workers)

  • Purpose: This study set out to use a one-group pretest-posttest experimental design to develop a highly motivating CPR program for help care workers who lack CPR education, and to evaluate its effects on their knowledge about program application, attitude, and self-efficacy. Methods: For this purpose, 140 questionnaires were administered to subjects who underwent training at an educational institution for care workers in S city and G province. The program was developed from April, 25 to May, 15 in 2016, and the evaluation period was from May to July, 15. The collected data were analyzed through SPSS version 23, and a paired t-test was conducted. Results: The program spanned 240 minutes, including 80 minutes on theoretical education and 160 minutes on practical education. Knowledge of CPR in the post-test proved to be higher than that in the pre-test, from 6.4 to 9.2 (t=-15.72, p<.001),; the score on attitude increased from 38.4 to 41.7 (t=-5.89, p<.001),; and self-efficacy increased from 41.0 to 66.7 (t=-21.83, p<.001). Conclusion: The basic CPR education program emphasizing motivation was effective for the care worker trainees and could be used for other curriculum by expanding the scope of the subject.

지역 보건소 구강보건실 활성화를 위한 치과위생사 역할 정립에 관한 연구 (A study on the role of dental Hygienist for revitalization of Dental Health class in Community Health Center)

  • The purpose of study was to offer devices to activate the dental health class of community health center and to evaluate the present programs and to propose adequate guidelines for future public dental health program of dental health care in health center. For this study, the mail quastionnaire survey was carried out from the 116 dental hygienists who are working in community health center. Present condition and direction of public dental health service are as follows: dentist's office was 90% by area and work department. Dental health department was equipped in 91.7% of 'public health center', but 'health branch office' was 57.9%. Dental hygienist education condition of Public health center was the most frequency in 'At large city'. 'Have no entirely' of dental health education number of times was 35.8% in 3 years. That is 44.5% in supplement insturction. Most Dental hygienist's business was most 'teeth-sealant' and 'Old man false teeth prosthetic dentistry business'. Therefor, The Obstacle factors of dental health service activity were 'manpower tribe(average 3.92)', and next 'lack of understanding and support insufficiency of law(average 3.47)'. Curriculum for educational practice should be also designed for brightening the dental health service business. The most important thing for dental health service is 'expanding and improving the facilities Legal system' and next 'Opportunity enlargement and activation that can take dental hygienist's residency'.

초등수학영재 선발시험에 응시한 3, 4학년생들의 4층 Skeleton Tower 문제해결에 대한 사례 연구 (A Case Study on the 4-high Skeleton Tower Problem Solutions by the 3rd and 4th Graders in a Gifted Children in Math Selection Test)

  • Skeleton Tower 문제는 대수와 기하를 통합하는 교육과정의 한 예로, 산술적인 세기, 정육면체의 개수를 세는 다양한 규칙이나 가능성을 열거하기, 기하학적 그림 그리기, 대수 방정식의 사용과 같은 다양한 방법으로 접근할 수 있으므로, 대수 방정식의 사용 방법만 제외한다면 초등학생에게도 사용 가능한 자료이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 J대학교 부설 영재교육원에서 실시한 2010학년도 초등수학반 영재선발시험에 응시한 3, 4학년생들을 대상으로, '4층 Skeleton Tower'를 해결하게 한 후, 이들의 문제해결 실태를 분석하여, 영재교육을 담당하는 교사들을 위한 시사점을 알아보고자 한다.

간호대학 신입생의 다문화수용성 영향요인 (Factors Influencing Multi-cultural Acceptance of Freshmen in Nursing Colleges)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학 신입생의 다문화수용성 수준을 파악하고 이에 영향을 주는 요인을 분석하고자 하였다. 연구 방법은 W 시 소재 K 대학 간호학과 1학년 학생 410명을 대상으로 2021년 3월 1일- 28일까지 설문조사하였고, 오픈소스 통계패키지 R을 이용하여 빈도, 신뢰도 분석, t-test, ANOVA, correlation, Multiple regression을 시행하였다. 연구결과 간호대학 신입생의 다문화수용성 수준은 평균 77.36점으로 다소 높은 다문화 수용성 능력을 가지는 것으로 나타났고, 다문화수용성 관련 요인의 영향을 분석한 결과 한국인 인정요건(𝛽=0.34, p<.001), 이주민에 대한 지각된 위협 인식(𝛽=0.29, p<.001), 다문화 교육 경험(𝛽=0.14, p<.001), 다문화 교육 적정 연령 인식(𝛽=0.20, p<.001)은 유의미하였다. 이러한 결과에 따라 간호대학생의 다문화 관련 정규 교육과정 및 프로그램을 개발하고 적극적으로 활용해야 할 필요가 있다.

Educational examples of game development methodology and paper prototyping for effective digital game creation

  • 본 연구에서는 게임 개발이 대형화되어감에 따라 많은 자본과 시간을 필요로 하게 되는 상황에서 초기 기획단계에서의 게임 방향성과 재미 검증의 어려움을 해결하기 위한 교육 방안을 검토하고자 한다. 따라서 게임기획의 방향을 적은 비용으로짧은 시간에 검증하고자 방법론들이 개발되고 있으며, 그 중 하나인 페이퍼 프로토타이핑을 이용한 초기 기획검증에 대한 실효성을 확인하고자 한다. 한 학기동안 게임기획을 배우고 있는 재학생 40여명을 대상으로 페이퍼 프로토타이핑 제작을 진행하였으며, 초기 게임기획의 아이디어를 효과적으로 구체화 할 수 있는 코어 메카닉 다이어그램, 스크럼, 기본심리욕구를 활용한 동기부여 방법을 교육하였다. 이 교육과정을 통해 11개의 페이퍼 프로토타이핑으로 보드게임이 완성되었고 수업에 참여한 학생들이 직접 교차플레이를 통해 재미를 검증함으로써 게임성을 확보하는데 유의미하였음을 확인하였다.
