  • In this paper, we are to study the generic submanifold M of a Kenmotsu manifold and consider the integrability condition of the almost complex structure induced on the even-dimensional product manifold $M{\times}R^p{\times}R^1$ where p is the codimension.

  • Recently, Chen establishes sharp relationship between the k-Ricci curvature and the squared mean curvature for a submanifold in a Riemannian space form with arbitrary codimension. In this paper, we establish sharp relationships between the Ricci curvature and the squared mean curvature for submanifolds in quaternion projective spaces.

  • Let G denote an upper semicontinuous(usc) decomposition of an (n + k)-manifold M into closed, connected n-manifolds. What can be said about the decomposition space B = M/G\ulcorner What regularity properties are possessed by the decomposition map $p : M \to B \ulcorner$ Certain forms of these questions have been addressed by D. Coram and pp. Duvall [C-D].

  • In this paper we study some nonpositively curved Riemannian manifolds acted on by a Lie group of isometries with principal orbits of codimension one. Among other results it is proved that if the universal covering manifold satisfies some conditions then every nonexceptional singular orbit is a totally geodesic submanifold. When M is flat and is not toruslike, it is proved that either each orbit is isometric to $R^k\timesT^m$or there is a singular orbit. If the singular orbit is unique and nonexceptional, then it is isometric to $R^k\timesT^m$.

  • Let M be an n-dimensional compact connected and oriented Riemannian manifold isometrically immersed in an (n+2)-dimensional Euclidean space $R^{n+2}$. Moore [5] proved that if M is of positive curvature, then M is a homotopy sphere. This result is generalized by Baldin and Mercuri [2], Baik and Shin [1] to the case of non-negative curvature, which is stated as follows: If M of non-negative curvature, then M is either a homotopy sphere or diffeomorphic to a product of two spheres. In particular, if there is a point at which the curvature operator is positive, then M is homeomorphic to a sphere.e.

  • In this paper, we show that any product of a closed orientable n-manifold $N_1$ with finite fundamental group and a closed orientable asgerical m-mainfold $N_2$ with hopfian fundamental group, where X($N_1$) and X($N_2$) are nonzero, is a condimension 2 fibrator. Moreover, if <$\pi_i(N_1)$=0 for 1$N_1\timesN_2$ is a codimension k PL fibrator.

  • In this paper, we get several centroaffine invariant properties for a ruled surface in ${\mathbb{R}}^4$ with centroaffine theories of codimension two. Then by solving certain partial differential equations and studying a centroaffine surface with some centroaffine invariant properties in ${\mathbb{R}}^4$, we obtain such a surface is centroaffinely equivalent to a ruled surface or one of the flat centered cyclic surfaces. Furthermore, some centroaffine invariant properties for centered cyclic surfaces are considered.

  • We study some special cases of Chow groups of a ramified complete regular local ring R of dimension n. We prove that (a) for codimension 3 Gorenstein ideal I, [I] = 0 in $A_{n-3}(R)$ and (b) for a particular class of almost complete intersection prime ideals P of height i, [P] = 0 in $A_{n-i}(R)$.

  • In this paper, we study the developing maps of the Lie groups with left-invariant affinely flat structures. We make some bacis observations on the nature of the developing images and show that the developing map for an incomplete affine structure splits as a product of a covering map of codimension 1 and a diffeomorphism of dimension 1.
