We extend the Holder-McCarthy inequality for a positive and an arbitrary operator, respectively. The powers of each inequality are given and the improved Reid's inequality by Halmos is generalized. We also give the bound of the Holder-McCarthy inequality by recursion.

In this paper, we consider an implicit iterative process with errors for an in nite family of strict pseudocontractions. Strong convergence theorems are established in the framework of Banach spaces. The results presented in this paper improve and extend the recent ones announced by many others.

In this paper, we consider a hybrid projection algorithm for a pair of inverse-strongly monotone mappings and a quasi-$\phi4-nonexpansive mapping. Strong convergence theorems are established in the framework of Banach spaces.

In this paper, we introduce the shrinking projection method for hemi-relatively nonexpansive mappings to find a common solution of variational inequality problems and equilibrium problems in uniformly convex and uniformly smooth Banach spaces and prove some strong convergence theorems to the common solution by using the proposed method.

In this paper, we first introduce some iterative sequences of Halpern type for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings and nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces and then we discuss strong convergence for the iterative processes. The results presented in this paper extend, supplement and improve the correspoding main results of Reich [11], Shimizu and Takahashi [13], Shioji and Takahashi [15], [16] and Wittmann [18].

New fixed point theorems for permissible maps between $Fr{\acute{e}}chet$ spaces are presented. The proof relies on index theory developed by Dzedzej and on viewing a $Fr{\acute{e}}chet$ space as the projective limit of a sequence of Banach spaces.

The classical Mazur-Ulam theorem states that every surjective isometry between real normed spaces is affine. In this paper, we study 2-isometries in probabilistic 2-normed spaces.
