Registration System of 3D Footwear data by Foot Movements (발의 움직임 추적에 의한 3차원 신발모델 정합 시스템)

  • Application systems that easy to access a information have been developed by IT growth and a human life variation. In this paper, we propose a application system to register a 3D footwear model using a monocular camera. In General, a human motion analysis research to body movement. However, this system research a new method to use a foot movement. This paper present a system process and show experiment results. For projection to 2D foot plane from 3D shoe model data, we construct processes that a foot tracking, a projection expression and pose estimation process. This system divide from a 2D image analysis and a 3D pose estimation. First, for a foot tracking, we propose a method that find fixing point by a foot characteristic, and propose a geometric expression to relate 2D coordinate and 3D coordinate to use a monocular camera without a camera calibration. We make a application system, and measure distance error. Then, we confirmed a registration very well.

2~6 GHz Wideband GaN HEMT Power Amplifier MMIC Using a Modified All-Pass Filter (수정된 전역통과 필터를 이용한 2~6 GHz 광대역 GaN HEMT 전력증폭기 MMIC)

  • In this paper, a 2~6 GHz wideband GaN power amplifier MMIC is designed and fabricated using a second-order all-pass filter for input impedance matching and an LC parallel resonant circuit for minimizing an output reactance component of the transistor. The second-order all-pass filter used for wideband lossy matching is modified in an asymmetric configuration to compensate the effect of channel resistance of the GaN transistor. The power amplifier MMIC chip that is fabricated using a $0.25{\mu}m$ GaN HEMT foundry process of Win Semiconductors, Corp. is $2.6mm{\times}1.3mm$ and shows a flat linear gain of about 13 dB and input return loss of larger than 10 dB. Under a saturated power mode, it also shows output power of 38.6~39.8 dBm and a power-added efficiency of 31.3~43.4 % in 2 to 6 GHz.

  • A new microwave transmission line frequency discriminator in MIC is described, which is composed of a branch-line hybrid 3dB coupler, a λ/2-short stub and a λ/4-opcn stub. It is experimentally verified that the discriminator is linear in a 400 MHz bandwidth at center frequency 4.94 GHz and has return loss more than 15dB in that range.

  • AlGaAs/GaAs HBT를 이용하여 1.9 GHz 대역 2단 MMIC 전력증폭기를 설계하였다. HBT의 실측 S 파라미터를 이용하여 정합회로를 설계하였으며, 목적에 따라 적절한 형태의 출력 정합 회로를 하이브리드 형태로 칩 외부에 부가할 수 있도록 설계하였다. HBT의 실측정 S 파라미터의 fitting을 통하여 비선형 등가모델을 추출하였고, load-pull 시뮬레이션으로 최대 출력 정합 임피던스를 결정하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과, 29 dBm의 출력 전력, 40 %의 전력 부가 효율, 그리고 16 dB의 전력 이득을 얻었다.

  • In this paper, We design the microwave integrated circuits for a broadband amplifier using elliptic filters and auxilliary networks at input and output. The input and output equivalent circuits of GaAs MESFET modeled unilaterally are adapted for analysis of this amplifier. The experimental results of this amplifier on 4~8GHz frequency range show that its gain, VSWR and noise figure are 10.5dB, 2.1:1 max. and 2.5dB max., repectively.

  • In this paper, we presented the stereo algorithm for 3-D object recognition. In order to solve the problem for matching time in existed methods, we proposed the method which used the moving direction vector. On the other hand, after we extracted the moving vectors by moving direction of objects, rotated object was matched on axis of it. Using the Hough transform, we obtained the 2-D synthesed image as reference images corresponding to the rate of moving, and then compared with the unknown input images.

  • In this paper, we propose a novel reconfigurable antenna that can change the electrical shape of the matching network using RF switches of PIN diodes. The designed antenna operates at two different modes that are Mode 1 (HSDPA band, 2.1~2.2 GHz) and Mode 2(WiBro WiFi band, 2.3~2.5 GHz). The antenna is built on both sides of a polyarcylate substrate. The measured reflection coefficient shows a matching bandwidth of 547 MHz($S_{11}$ <-3 dB, 2.035~2.582 GHz) for Mode 1 and 600 MHz($S_{11}$ <-3 dB, 2.2~2.8 GHz) for Mode 2, and it shows average vertical gains of -4.4 dBi and -4.5 dBi in x-y plane, respectively.

  • The dual-stream based stereoscopic 3D HDTV broadcasting service was launched recently. Although the dual-stream based HDTV service has been successfully provided, the 3D HDTV broadcasting system requires more bandwidth efficient transmission schemes because it should convey both left and right HD resolution images simultaneously in the finite 6MHz bandwidth. In this paper, we consider more advanced ATSC transmission schemes that use higher modulation such as 16-QAM and concatenated RS code and block LDPC codes. Compared with conventional ATSC system and the modified ATSC system in [2], the proposed system has about 2.97dB and 1.12dB SNR gain at the payload data rate of 19.44Mbps compared with the existing ATSC system and the modified ATSC system [2]. Also, the proposed scheme requires only 1.05dB power increase for the 3D HDTV service, which is reasonable SNR increase value and applicable to the advanced 3D high definition broadcasting realization in limited 6MHz bandwidth.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 오브젝트의 3차원 형상 정보와 사진이 주어졌을 때, 3D-2D 정합을 통하여 고품질의 가상모델을 생성하는데 있다. 이러한 실세계 오브젝트의 3D-2D 정합은 3차원 형상에 대응되는 2차원 이미지 정보의 매칭을 통한 텍스쳐 매개변수화 과정으로 정의 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 카메라 내부파라미터 검정 과정, 신뢰도가 높은 초기해 설정과정, 비선형 최적화 과정을 통한 효율적인 텍스쳐 매개변수화 기법(texture parameterization)을 제안한다.

Design and fabrication of Power Amplifier with HBT for IMT-2000 Handsets (IMT-2000 단말기용 HBT 전력증폭기 설계 및 제작)

  • In this paper, a 2-stage power amplifier(PA) for IMT-2000 handset has been designed and fabricated using SiGe HBT, which has excellent frequency characteristics and linearity, to reduce size and weight instead of existing linearization techniques. DC I-V characteristics and S-parameter of SiGe HBT were simulated by Agilent circuit simulator(ADS), with large signal Gummel-Poon nonlinear circuit model. Then the output and interstage matching circuits were designed to satisfy the high power condition and the high gain condition, respectively. The experimental results showed output power of 27.1dBm and ACLR of 20dB, PAE of 34%, and linear power gain of 18.9dB over frequency ranges from 1920MHz to 1980MHz.
