Factors influencing the organizational commitment and work performance of outsourced workers (아웃소싱 근로자의 조직몰입과 업무성과에 미치는 영향요인)

  • This study designed a research model to analyze the relationship between organizational commitment and work performance for outsourcing workers. The path relationship was analyzed using the PLS-SEM of the sample collected through the survey. As a result of the study, organizational support perception had a direct effect on the work performance of outsourcing workers, and the company commitment and customer company commitment had a mediating effect. In addition, it was confirmed that the workers showed dual commitment to the company and the customer company, and the organizational commitment to both companies was complementary. It was also suggested that the outsourcing company's organizational support activities are more important for improving the work performance of workers.

The Moderating Effects of Employer Trust on the Effect of Organizational Reputation (기업평판이 회사몰입과 이직의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the the effect of organizational reputation on company commitment, turnover intention and the moderating effect of employer trust. Despite the progress of organizational reputation studies, There is a shortage of employee-perspective studies. This study considered the limitation of previous study and the help to the company. This study built a exploratory model that there is causal relationship of organizational reputatio to company commitment, turnover intention and the moderating effect of employer trust on the effect of company commitment, and turnover intention. To test hypotheses empirically, the data was collected from 239 iron and steel company's workers in Po-hang. The study showed following results. First organizational reputation had the effect on the company commitment and turnover intention significantly. a positve reputation in an organization is associate with commitment and negative reputation in an organization is associate with turnover. Second perceived employer trust played the role as the moderating variable in relation with the effect of reputation on the company commitment. The implication of these results to the union and the company, the limitation and the direction of future study were suggested.

  • Purposes of this paper are focused on researching that employees in small and medium-sized construction company embraced green growth policy by Korean government's strong will and they have try to improve it to take advantage of strengths. Specifically, the purpose of this study includes: Firstly, to examine the effects of employee's cognition of green growth policy and their organizational commitment. Secondly, to examine the mediating and moderating effect of the policy trust and company trust between employee's cognition of green growth policy and organizational commitment. In addition, th examine the facilitating effect of employee's self-efficacy between company trust and organizational commitment. In order to verify the relationship, moderating and mediating effects, data were collected from 168 individuals in 19 small and medium sized company to test theoretical model and its hypotheses. Findings are as followed: first, the relationship between the cognition of green growth policy and organizational commitment is positively related. Second, the employee's company trust played as a partial mediator and moderator on the relationship between cognition of green growth policy and organizational commitment. Finally, employee's self-efficacy also played as a partial mediator on the relationship between company trust and organizational commitment. This study contributes to deepen our understanding of employee's organizational commitment by suggesting an alternative theoretical model regarding how the cognition of green growth policy and organizational commitment work to relate employee's company trust, and how the company trust and organizational commitment work to facilitate employee's self-efficacy. These results reveal that the study contributed to combining variables of employee's cognition of green growth policy, company trust, self-efficacy and organizational commitment, and expanded it.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of Big 5 Personality Traits(Extroversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, Openness to experience, Neuroticism) on the organizational commitment of employees and also to investigate the moderating effect of leadership. To summarize the research results, First, Extroversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, Openness of Big 5 Personality Traits had a positive effect on organizational commitment. Second, transactional, transformational and servant leadership had a moderating effect on the relationship between conscientiousness and organizational commitment. And transactional and transformational leadership had a moderating effect on the relationship between openness and organizational commitment. In Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Companies, it was confirmed that personality traits of employees are important factors that affect organizational commitment and organizational leadership interacts with the personality of employees and affects organizational commitment. This study is meaningful in that it attempted to analyze the moderating effect through quantitative design using the scale for the role of personality factors and leadership individually.

The Effect of Large Company's Corporate Social Responsibility on the Trust and Relationship Commitment of Supplier Company's Workers (대기업의 사회적 책임활동이 협력회사 구성원의 신뢰와 관계몰입에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of large company's corporate social responsibility(CSR) on trust and relationship commitment of partner companies' members. This study is different from previous studies with respect to inclusion of safety/environment responsibility as one of CSR components and inclusion of supplier company's members as one of major stakeholders in CSR. Corporate social responsibility activities, which are independent variables, are composed of four components: economic, legal, ethical, and safety/environment responsibility. The trust is composed of the dependent variables as the parameter. For the empirical analysis, data were collected from 186 members of supplier companies of 'S' large companies. The data collected were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0 to verify the hypothetical relationship. The results of this study are as follows. First, social responsibility activities have an effect on trust and relationship commitment, and trust has a positive effect on relationship commitment. In the relationship between social responsibility activities and relationship commitment, trust was found to play a full mediating role. Based on these results, implications were discussed in terms of theory and practice, limitations were pointed out, and some research directions for future research were also proposed.

  • The purpose of this paper is to examine the effects of internal marketings including education and training, internal communication, reward system, and welfare to job satisfaction and organizational commitment in the taxi company in Kangwon province. The results of this study were as follows. Firstly, reward system and welfare are having the positive effect to job satisfaction, but education & training and internal communication are having negative effect on job satisfaction. Secondly, the result of the analysis on the effect of internal marketing to organizational commitment has shown that education & training, reward system, and welfare are have the positive effect on organizational commitment. Unfortunately, the internal communication has shown the negative effect on organizational commitment. Thirdly, the result of the analysis has shown that job satisfaction has the positive effect on the organizational commitment. Lastly, on the result of the hypotheses verification, the internal marketing has an effect to job satisfaction and organizational commitment partly and job satisfaction has a positive effect to organizational commitment. Therefore, through continuous effort of internal marketing activities make a positive effect on taxi driver's job satisfaction and organizational commitment and help to maximize the effectiveness of the organization.

Impact of Internal Marketing on Job Satisfaction, Job Involvement, Customer Orientation and Job Performance of the Employees in Securities Firm's Branch (증권회사 지점 종사자의 내부마케팅이 직무만족, 직무몰입, 고객지향성 및 직무성과에 미치는 영향)

  • The impacts of internal marketing in the security firms have not been studied much. This study analyzes the impact of internal marketing on job satisfaction, job commitment, customer orientation, and job performance for the security firm's branches using multiple mediation model which differs from simple mediation model. The data were collected from 263 employees of securities firm's branches in Seoul, Busan and other Korean metropolitan cities. The research hypothesis was validated by the tools of SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 22.0. The results are as follows. First, among the internal marketing factors, delegation of authority, reward systems and education training had a significant effect on job satisfaction. And internal communications were shown to have a significant effect on job commitment and customer orientation. Second, job satisfaction have a significant direct impact on the job commitment, customer orientation. And customer orientation have direct impact on the job performance. Also, delegation of authority and reward systems were found to have a significant indirect effect on the job performance in mediation of job satisfaction and customer orientation. These results imply that internal marketing factors affect job performance mainly through the mediation of job satisfaction, job orientation and that specially delegation of authority and reward system affect on the performance much, which are different from other industry cases.

A Study on Influence of Foodservice Managers' Emotional Intelligence on Job Attitude and Organizational Performance (급식관리자의 개인적 감성지능이 직무태도 및 조직성과에 미치는 영향)

  • The purposes of this study were to: a) provide evidence concerning the effects of emotional intelligence on job outcomes, b) examine the impacts of emotional intelligence on employee-related variables such as 'job satisfaction', 'organizational commitment', 'organizational performance', and 'turnover intention' c) identify the conceptual framework underlying emotional intelligence. A survey was conducted to collect data from foodservice managers (N=231). Statistical analyses were completed using SPSS Win (16.0) for descriptive analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, t-test, correlation analysis, cluster analysis and AMOS (16.0) for confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling. The concept of emotional intelligence (EI) has been on the radar screens of many leaders and managers over the last several decades. The emotional intelligence is generally accepted to be a combination of emotional and interpersonal competencies that influence behavior, thinking and interaction with others. The main results of this study were as follows. The four EI (Emotional Intelligence) dimensions correlated significantly with age. The means of job satisfaction score were above the midpoint (3.04 point) scale. The organizational commitment score was above the midpoint (3.41 point) scale and was higher at 'loyalty' factor than 'commitment' factor. The means of organizational performance score were above the midpoint (3.34) scale. The correlations among the four EI (emotional intelligence) factors were significant with job satisfaction; organizational commitment, organizational performance and turnover intention. The test of hypothesis using structural equation modeling found that emotional intelligence produced positive effects on job attitude and job performance. Emotional intelligence enhanced organizational commitment, and in turn, managers' attitude produced positive effects on organizational performance; emotional intelligence also had a direct impact on organizational performance. This study has identified the effect of emotional intelligence on organizational performance and attitudes toward one's job.

  • The purposes of the study are as follows; First, to find out valid variables from preceding studies which expedite and revitalize the electronic information sharing between shipping company and container terminal and (to) verify the effect empirically. Second, to examine the impacts of electronic information sharing between shipping company and container terminal on performance by empirical research. The results are as follows; First, the degree of support by the CEO, the stage of information technology infrastructure, committment and dependence were proved as valid factors affecting the electronic information sharing between shipping company and container terminal. Second, it was proved that the electronic information sharing between shipping company and container terminal has influenced on the performance.

조직구조, 조직문화의 업무특성이 조직몰입 및 조직성과 미치는 영향: 7년 미만의 초기 스타트업 중심으로

  • 1년에도 수십 수백 개씩 스타트업이 생겨나고 있다. 아마도 모두 미래의 구글과 페이스북, 그리고 아마존이 되길 희망하며 하루하루 가열차게 달리고 있다. 하지만 그 많은 스타트업 중 소위 성공했다 불릴 수 있는 기업은 손에 꼽는다. 능력 있는 창업가, 기발한 사업 모델과 아이디어 그리고 이를 뒷받침해 줄 기술력과 자본이 있다고 성공할 수 없다. 스타트업 기업을 굴러가게 하는 힘은 결국 그 조직의 구성원에게서 나오기에 성공한 스타트업에겐 모두 그들 만의 '조직문화'가 있다. 그게 모두에게 좋은 문화일 필요는 없을 것이다. 그 조직에 가장 접합한, 그래서 구성원의 구성원의 공감대를 사 '일하고 싶은 회사'가 될 수 있게 하는 '조직 문화'가 있는 스타트업이 수많은 인재를 모아 성장을 거듭해 올 수 있었고 그것이 결국 스타트업을 성공으로 이끌었던 것이다. 이런 조직 문화는 회사 초창기에 세팅할수록 해당 기업의 성공 확률도 높아진다. 7년 미만의 초기 스타트업 기업을 대상으로 조직문화 유형이 스타트업 구성원의 조직 몰입과 조직성과에 어떠한 영향을 주는지에 대한 실증분석을 목적으로 하였다. 초기 스타트업 기업의 조직문화 차원은 경쟁가치모형의 혁신문화와 위계문화로 구분하였으며, 조직성과는 스타트업의 서비스, 제품을 경험한 이용자들의 서비스 만족도를 활용하였다. 조직문화는 외부환경에 대한 적응과 조직내부 통합의 문제를 해결하기 위하여 구성원들에 의해 창조 발전되어 학습되는 기본가정으로서 스타트업 구성원들에 의해 공유된 가치(values), 신념(beliefs), 규범(norms)의 체계로 정의한다. 따라서 어떠한 조직문화를 갖는냐에 따라 조직 구성원의 몰입, 충성심, 직무동기, 직무성과는 물론 조직성과와 혁신을 포함하는 여러 조직 요인도 직 갑적인 영향을 받는다. 7년 미만의 초기 스타트업 혁신문화가 스타트업 구성원의 조직몰입에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며, 조직몰입이 스타트업 서비스, 제품을 경험한 이용자들의 서비스 만족도에도 긍정적인 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
