The purpose of this study family functioning and self-identity as a mediating effect on the impact of school life adaptation were investigated. This aspect of the study, panel survey was used to researchers from the Korea Youth Policy and their parents of about the consciousness and family awareness, the youth of 6, 979 people. Youth Policy Institute of Korea analyzed the panel. frequency using SPSS program, AMOS using factor analysis, path analysis was performed. The following results were obtained. First, the family of functions of the sub-factors and school life adaptation sub-factors had a significant correlation with each other. Second, the youth's family function in school life adaptation had a significant impact which parameters, excluding self-identity. Third, the family functions as a self-identity parameter had a significant impact on school life adaptation.

This study focused on the classification of triangles by angles in elementary school mathematics. We examined Korean national mathematics curriculum from the past to the present. We also examined foreign textbooks and the Euclid's . As a result, it showed that the classification is not indispensable from the mathematical and the perceptual viewpoint. It is rather useful for students to know the names of triangles when studying upper level mathematics in middle and high schools. This study also suggested that the classification be introduced in elementary school mathematics in the context of reasoning and inquiring as shown foreign textbooks, and example topics for the reasoning and inquiring.

In this paper, we analyzed the use of computer games relating their scholastic achievements and behaviors of the first and second grade boy students in vocational high schools. The analysis based on the location of schools turned out to be meaningful because computer games seemed to deteriorate urban students' school grades more than those of the rural students. However, another analysis based on types of schools such as agricultural, technical, and commercial schools did not show any meaningful differences in their GPA(Grade Point Average). It was analyzed that such items in the given questionnaire as whether or not computer games made them less attentive to their classes, whether or not games made them put off their stud? and work, and whether or not they played computer games even during their exam periods had no meaningful results. Besides, it seemed that there was no connection between how well one plays computer games and how well he or she does at school work did not seem to be correlated. In short, most of the subjects seemed to enjoy computer games regardless of their scholastic achievements.

In this study we examined the topic analysis and correlation analysis by text mining to extract meaningful information or rules from the self introduction letter of freshman at Korea National College of Agriculture and Fisheries in 2020. The analysis items are described in items related to 'academic' and 'in-school activities' during high school. In the text mining results, the keywords of 'academic' items were 'study', 'thought', 'effort', 'problem', 'friend', and the key words of 'in-school activities' were 'activity', 'thought', 'friend', 'club', 'school' in order. As a result of the correlation analysis, the key words of 'thinking', 'studying', 'effort', and 'time' played a central role in the 'academic' item. And the key words of 'in-school activities' were 'thought', 'activity', 'school', 'time', and 'friend'. The results of frequency analysis and association analysis were visualized with word cloud and correlation graphs to make it easier to understand all the results. In the next study, TF-IDF(Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency) analysis using 'frequency of keywords' and 'reverse of document frequency' will be performed as a method of extracting key words from a large amount of documents.

This study investigated high school students' perception of English extensive reading (ER) after introducing ER to general high school students in a metropolitan area. In addition, as the free semester system was expanded in high schools as well as middle schools, we developed a class model for English extensive reading. 91.4 percent of the students who participated in the study said that they wanted to try using the English extensive reading method. Also 35 high school students who experienced English extensive reading chose the 'Five Finger rule' and 'Graded Readers' Series' as the most helpful factors in their extensive reading experiences. In interviews with English teachers, teachers expressed their demand for the development of a model of English extensive reading suitable for free semesters in general high schools. This study proposes an English extensive reading class model utilizing library resources that can be used in the free semester system as well as a performance assessment-oriented English extensive reading class model.

The purpose of this study was to investigate science high-school students' creativity and scientific attitude when an integrated science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) project themed 'lighting of quantum dot solution' was applied to them. The subjects were a one team composed of 3 students in the 11th grade desiring to participate in the Korea Science Exhibition. They began with a scientific inquiry related to the physical properties of the QD solution and then gradually showed the process of expansion of their ideas into the integration of engineering, technology, and mathematics. Also, during the process, they showed problem solving ability and scientific attitudes, such as cooperation, endurance, and satisfaction of accomplishment.

An infatuation with webtoons is facilitated by the ultra-rapid internet infrastructures and the highest ratio of penetration of smartphones in the world. Recently, the webtoon has been the focus of a new cultural content and its development has been noticed both and home and abroad. This study aims to find the new role of webtoon as a socio-cultural communication media. The webtoon reflects the reality as it is and shows directly and minutely the social problems, even although the other media make it glorified or reduced. We observe the role of webtoon as a new communication media content that can make the place for social discussion within several generations and social stratums, in which the producer and the consumer can communicate directly and immediately. Two webtoons( and ) have been selected for a textual analysis. In two webtoons, we analyse the method of representation of the social problem in the technique of expression and storytelling. This helps us maintain that the webtoon deserves as the socio-cultural communication media and the social problems represented in webtoon must have been evaluated more valuable in a new perspective.

This study is the design and implementation of digital textbooks for elementary school computer education based on smart phone. It suggests how to cultivate self-directed learning ability depending on the level and selection of individuals by maximizing on interaction as advantage of digital textbooks. As the content of the digital textbooks, this study used Excel's charting capabilities. As a result of the evaluation of elementary learners having a implemented digital textbook, execution time of creating a chart is reduced in comparison with paper-based textbook user group.

Purpose: In this study, the researchers analyzed Adolescence's physical symptoms, self esteem and self identity to identify the effects and development of Maumgongbu group counseling on adolescents. Methods: There were two groups involved in this study: the group counseling team and the individual counseling group. Group counseling program was performed with 14 sessions, involving the students who applied for the program. Individual counseling was performed with 14 sessions through one-on-one session by students and their counselors. The data were collected three times: during the pre-treatment, post- treatment and 8 weeks after post-treatment using questionnaires. SPSS/WIN. 11.5 program was used for data analysis. Results: After the intervention, Group counseling prevented physical symptoms from getting worse. Self esteem improved during the pre-post treatments, and Self identity improved during the pre-8weeks after post-treatment in group counseling. Physical symptoms, Self esteem and Self identity aggravated during individual counseling groups. Conclusion: In this study, it was confirmed that the group counseling program was useful for the respondent's individual development through the improvement of their Physical symptoms and establishment of their Self identities through Maumgongbu group counseling.

In this study, an experimental elementary school mathematics textbooks in use in the effects of the storytelling investigated. For this purpose, three different elementary schools teachers and students to a group of grades 3-4 mathematics textbooks for the effects of the storytelling questionnaire study. Survey, teachers were given an overall rating of storytelling in mathematics textbooks were positive recognition. Specifically, learning motivation and communication have significant positive recognition and learning of mathematics content that was helpful. The students are given an overall rating of storytelling textbooks showed a positive reaction. Grade 3 students were more positive than the four-year students. More specifically, mathematics is interesting storytelling. That public education was more fun than private supplementary education. But for storytelling low-level math students need measures showed insignificant changes.
