점점 짙어지는 푸르름과 한층 더해가는 더위 속에 어느덧, 캠퍼스에는 여름방학이 시작되었다. 여름방학을 맞이하여 캠퍼스에는 해외 각국의 학생들이 한국을 공부하기 위해, 저마다의 목표를 위해 붐비고 있다. 대학의 국제화 전략과 함께 국제 하계대학 프로그램이 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 그 중 이화여자대학교의 하계대학프로그램은 1971년 국내 대학 최초로 외국 학생들에게 우리나라의 역사와 문화를 알리기 위한 취지로 시작되었다. 국제화 전략의 중요한 프로그램인 "Summer School"을 이화여자대학교의 운영사례와 현황을 통해 살펴본다.

This paper aims to design an educational science program based on rocket propulsion for high school students. Curriculum in high school physics and chemistry were evaluated to find out scientific match with basic principles in rocket propulsion. Also model rocketry was implemented as a part of the educational program. Solid propellants were prepared by the combination of sorbitol and candy after a selection process for solid propellant from several high caloric food candidates. Specially, this program was intended to give an opportunity to organize basic knowledge of high school science with model rocketry by measuring combustion temperature, thrust level of developed propellants. A pilot operation of the program was done with four high school students to evaluate the achievement of final goals of the program both in technical and educational aspect.

항공사가 매년 정기적으로 수행하고 있는 정기 안전 교육 프로그램(Safety Training Programs)을 통한 객실승무원의 안전인식(Safe Recognition) 변화와 직접적인 사고 발생 시 즉시 행동으로 연계되는 안전행동(Safety Behavior)을 연구하여 항공안전의 목표를 달성하고, 사고를 방지하여 항공사의 신뢰도를 향상시키고 다른산업에서 직원안전교육을 수행할 경우 안전교육의 내용,절차, 횟수등을 제시하는 지표로 활용하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 항공사 객실승무원의 안전 교육 프로그램이 객실승무원 안전인식과 행동에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 안전인식이 정기안전교육 프로그램과 안전행동의 관계에 있어서 매개효과(mediating effect)가 있는지 파악해보고자 한다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the content and design of the seven math camp programs for students of the education centers for the elementary gifted students. The analysis focused on the goals, content, and evaluations utilized in the math camp programs. The results of the study were as follows. First, there was no big difference between the goals set for each camp, and they mainly focused on the goals in affective domain. Second, the content of math camp programs was focused on enrichment rather than acceleration. Most of the programs were focused on geometry, whereas fewer programs were focused on measurement, probability and statistics. Based on the Analysis, we found that only nine out of 27 programs applied level-wised or individual exercise programs. Third, all centers for the mathematically gifted carried out evaluations of their math camp programs. However, a specific evaluation plan was not established for the math camp program plans. We suggested the direction of math camp programs as follows. First, the goals should reflect on the intended outcomes of the math camp programs. Also, the goals of math camp programs need to be distinctive from general education goals. Second, the programs should contain harmonious contents with enrichment and acceleration and must include various reactions and task commitment. The math camp programs need to include references and an appropriate information for the gifted students to encourage self-directed learning. Third, a more specific evaluation plan for math camp programs needs to be developed for effective education for the gifted students.

초등학교 학생들의 창의성 신장은 수학 교수-학습 과정에서 꼭 고려해야 할 목표들 중의 하나이다. 창의성 신장을 위한 많은 시도들이 있었지만, 창의성 신장을 위한 학습자료들은아직 많은 연구 문제들을 남기고 있다. 본 연구에서는 초등학교 고학년 영재 아동들의 창의성 신장을 위해 100시간 분량으로 개발된 학습 프로그램을 소개하고, 개발된 자료들을 초등학교 교수-학습에 투입하여 얻은 긍정적인 결과들을 제시할 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to develop a STEAM program based on reverse engineering. To achieve the purpose of this study, STEAM program was developed on the subject of autonomous vehicle. The results of this study are summarized as follows. The program was developed based on STEAM program development model based on reverse engineering. Developed in a five step procedure (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation) with the subject of autonomous vehicle. First, in the analysis step, we explored the definition, goal, content area, and teaching and learning methods of STEAM based on reverse engineering. We extracted the goals and content areas to be included in the educational program. Second, in the design step, topics were selected through consultation with experts. At this time, based on the linkage between the 2015 revised curriculum and the STEAM curriculum, we selected and organized educational goals and learning contents. Third, in the development step, we developed a teacher 's guidebook and student' s textbook, and applied the program to 71 students in the second grade of OO middle school in Seoul. Fifth, at the evaluation stage, the evaluation was made by experts and students based on the program that was implemented, and revised and supplemented based on the results.

The core of accreditation for engineering education is to improve the ability and quality of graduates through CQI system based on outcomes. For the program outcomes of the engineering education accreditation criterion, it is necessary to understand the relationship among education assessment, objective and curriculum. This study has focused on the program outcomes and the assessment. First the measure for improving the general problems of the program outcomes associated with assessment tool have been stated. And the detailed measure for practicing the program outcome, the assessment system and the assessment tool, which makes use of Rubrics, have been discussed. Therefore it is expected that the program outcome and the assessment may be conducted at universities with the assessment tool established in this study.

이 연구의 목적은 초등학교 어린이들을 대상으로 의사소통 능력 중심의 영어교육을 하기 위하여 그 기초가 되는 영어발음지도와 관련된 문제점들을 살펴보고 아울러 그 해결방안을 모색하는 것이라. 먼저 초등학교 어린이를 위한 영어교육의 특성과 제문제를 살펴보고, 보라 효과적인 발음지도를 위해 구체적인 발음지도 목표와 그 목표에 맞는 발음지도 법을 알아보았다. 발음지도 목표로는 우선, 영어를 모국어로 하는 사람들이 알아듣고 이해할 수 있는 정도의 발음을 갖추도록 하며, 이를 위해 (1)영어자, 모음 식별 청취 및 발음, (2)올바른 강세와 억양 식별 및 구사, (3)연음 및 기타 주요 발음 현상 식별 및 구사 등을 지도하되, (1)보다 (2)와 (3)을 보다 집중적으로 지도할 것을 제시하였다. 아울러 이들 각각의 내용을 보다 효과적으로 지도하기 위하여 의사소통 능력을 중심으로 한 여러 가지 지도 법 및 어린이들을 위한 학습활동들을 소개하였다. 끝으로 자질을 고루 갖춘 초등학교 영어교사 양성이야말로 성공적인 영어교육의 제일조건임을 강조하고 보다 실제적인 교사교육 프로그램에 포함되어야 할 사항을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to develop a school violence prevention program featuring the Practical Action Teaching Model(hereafter, PATM) for middle school students to prevent school violence by Home Economics Education. To accomplish this purpose, the processes of analysis, design, development, and evaluation based on ADDIE were conducted. The validity of the program was evaluated twice by Home Economics education experts(36 experts for the first group and 10 experts for the second group) and the contents of the program were modified according to the comments from the evaluators. The school violence prevention program in Home Economics classes consisted of 5 topics such as changing perception on school violence, enhancing self-esteem, relating with others, practicing consideration and sharing, and strengthening the will of preventing school violence. Twenty-four units were developed with 7 practical problems(What should I do to make friends to help with each other?, What should I do to establish positive self-concept?, What should I do to communicate to build good relationship?, What should I do to solve the conflicts peacefully?, What should I do to practice consideration and sharing in food consumption?, and What should I do to practice consideration and sharing in clothing?) in 5 topic areas. Teaching-learning plans included four steps such as problem perception, practical reasoning, action, and evaluation that comprise PATM to solve the practical problems. Every step of the teaching-learning plan consisted of questions for practical reasoning and activity assignments. Materials for students and teachers were developed. Materials for students comprised 80 pieces in total including student activity, reading, movie, and clips to make students enhance understanding and interest. Materials for teachers comprised 35 pieces in total such as rationales, newspaper articles, and movies that make teachers that lesson teaching loads and were helpful for teachers. The PATM was incorporated into developing the program and a Likert-scale was used to assess usefulness, applicability, appropriateness, fidelity, substantiality, and validity of this program. This program gained more than 4.00 on a 1-5 Likert scale. This result indicated that program is expected to be effective and useful to school violence prevention.

In this study, it is necessary to supplement the Korean language curriculum in order for international students to adapt and settle in Korea in an era where education is being transformed into future education due to the 4th industry. In the KFL (Korean as a Foreign Language) situation encountered by international students, they suffer from difficulties in university mathematics due to communication problems due to lack of language ability, which is one of the stress factors for cultural adaptation in the Korean language education program. To solve this problem, we analyzed ESL programs in English-speaking countries and KSL programs in Korea to set educational goals, curriculum, and educational methods to achieve goals for international students, and to establish curriculum and learning processes. Therefore, the Korean language education program (KSL program) for foreign students in the Korean language curriculum should also be supplemented by accepting the advantages of setting accurate goals for the ESL program and linking it with university graduation in the curriculum of English-speaking countries. In addition, for international students to learn Korean, an integrated Korean language education course and management system using IT suitable for the 4th industrial age is needed.
