The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of educational evaluation with the application of flipped learning on undergraduate students' self-directed learning ability (cognitive domains, motive domains, conductive domains) and cognitive learning competency (knowledge and thought, creation, problem solving). An educational evaluation class, which applied flipped learning designed on the basis of pre-class, in-class, and post-class, was taught to 57 undergraduate students for twelve of the sixteen weeks of a semester. It was held each week on Thursdays for two (Ed- I don't understand 'for two'). The study results showed that, applying the flipped learning educational education class for undergraduate students improved self-directed learning ability (motivation domains, behavior domains) and cognitive learning competence (higher order thinking, metacognition, creativity tendency, problem-solving process). This study provides meaningful suggestions on exploring instructional design and effective teaching and learning methods applied to flipped learning.
This study was carried out qualitative study to figure out the process of the perception of creativity conception by kindergarten teachers in Korea. The interviewees are 4 current teachers in kindergarten in Seoul. Data was collected from semi-structured in-depth interview. Collected data were analyzed using Modified Grounded Theory Approach by Kinoshita, a kind of qualitative research method. As a result of data analysis, kindergarten teachers who experts in child education understood key concepts of creativity as unique thinking and rich expression ability. Such concept is mainly acquired at the class in which direct encounter with children is made. Besides, they formed the concept of creativity through reading books and articles, graduate studies and teaching Nuri Curriculum. In the preceding studies on the concept of creativity targeted to elementary and secondary school teachers, they had shared wide concept, but kindergarten teachers shared only some key concepts on creativity. This result would mean that the concept of creativity in the early children education is relatively coherent and such concept and teaching method are relatively well delivered to children at the education field.
The purpose of this research is to find out the usefulness of the Mentorship program for gifted science students. The usability has been proved by the results from a survey of a group of mentorship education students. Among those surveyed some are the students a gifted science education institute in university. Students have improved their own study ability, creative problem solving ability by performing the experiment planning on their own, and presented their papers through Mentorship program, and it is possibly observed that they have their own dignity as scientist by performing the actual science activities. Also, with the result of the survey, the effectiveness of the Mentorship program is very positive onto the students. Mentorship program is one of the educational method to widen the students' experience chances, and the depth of thought, and improve the scientific ability and creative problem solving ability.
In this work, we develop an instructional method in which students create 3D animations based on problem-solving techniques and computational thinking. The educational, easy-to-learn programming environment/language called "Alice 2.3", which supports story-telling, is used for the delivery of the instructional method. Unlike typical 3D animation instructional methods using command-based demonstrations and/or 3D animation tools, learners engage in a group project in which they develop a story and solve problems by creativity, computational thinking and reasoning skills. Then they develop animations based on the story by programming with Alice. The analysis based on the collected data showed that learners had to put much effort while working on the project, but their critical-thinking skills were improved. It also showed they were more involved and their interests were heightened in developing animation through programming.

Kodu made by MS is a new 3D visual programming language made specifically for creating games. This language is based on creativity, problem-solving methods, and storytelling. So, it is very suitable for game programming education for kids. In this paper, we designed learning method to develop games based on elementary school students' creative thinking. The instruction was given to 27 6-grade elementary school students in 30 hours. And we applied the learning method in class. Also, we analyzed the changes in the learners' creative thinking and the learning effects of game programming.

When you look at computer training techniques, generally you will see an unbalanced focus towards the software applications being used. Office programs, including software applications, or simply the ability to operate has been assigned in the attempt to develop more information. Omitted, while a students thought process dealing with computer applications is usually clear and effective, the functional oriented tasks involved are time consuming. In order to keep up with the pace of today changing requirements, creativity and problems solving ability is a necessity. These are the areas in which both our training techniques are inefficient, and the resulting ability of student's is unsatisfactory. In this study of 5thand6thgradelevelcomputerteachingtechniques.

Personality traits have been considered as one of the stable predictors having significant correlations with creativity, although there is lack of study figuring out whether those relationship keeps constant across different educational stages. Exploratory research is conducted to investigate how the correlation between personality traits and creativity changes before adulthood using HEXACO personality measurement renowned for its efficient prediction and explanation of behavioral patterns. A total of 230 elementary, middle, and high school students who participated in Korea Destination ImagiNation completed two divergent thinking tasks(the Alternative Uses Tasks and the Remote Associates task) and HEXACO to measure their creativity and personality traits, respectively. The results showed there was a correlation between some of the personality traits and creativity, which differed by their educational stages.

The current curriculums for the gifted and talented students in informatics are not practical and systematic in teaching methods because it is hard to provide the gifted and talented students with appropriate education individualized at their own levels. Furthermore, there are still some problems in previous curriculums for the gifted and talented students in informatics as follows. First, there are not sufficient on previous curriculums for the gifted and talented education in informatics in middle and high schools. Second, previous curriculums in use do not contribute to cultivating the creativity, problem-solving, logical thinking abilities and insight for the gifted students. Third, there is no curriculum, which reflects on individual's ability and aptitude, for the gifted and talented education in informatics. Therefore, in this paper, we suggest stepwise enrichment curriculums that enables the gifted and talented students to be equipped with creative problem-solving skills and computational thinking abilities. In this regard, at first, The problem with existing research and educational institutes for the gifted and talented in informatics were analyzed. Next we developed a concrete stepwise enrichment curriculum in accordance with the practical educational objectives of the gifted and talented in informatics.

In this study, we developed analogical experimental activities to foster scientific creativity in inquiry learning and applied them to 7th grade science-gifted students. The influences of inquiry learning-based analogical experiments were investigated with respect to the experimental design processes. We classified the patterns of experimental design processes by creative thinking processes and analyzed performance levels by the elements of experimental design processes. The students' experimental design processes were categorized into three kinds of patterns such as reinitiated motion, backward-divergent motion and stationary motion. Those belonging to the reinitiated motion performed precise experimental design from new perspectives by identifying the mapping in depth and considering the elements of experimental design processes. In the case of the backward-divergent motion, they shifted their positions to new directions, but the concreteness of experimental design was insufficient due to the lack of mapping or considering the elements. In the type of stationary motion, maintaining their previous positions, they showed less performance of experimental design without considering the elements sufficiently. Educational implication of these findings are discussed.
