Purpose : Iron deficiency is still the most common nutrient deficient disorder despite the improvement in general health and nutrition. This study is designed to evaluate the dietary history of infants and young children with iron deficiency anemia(IDA) and the effects of nutritional counseling. Methods : This study was conducted on 120 children from 6 to 36 months of age with IDA. Their parents completed a questionnaire and took counsel for nutrition. IDA was defined as Hb <11.0 g/dL, ferritin <10 ng.mL or transferrin saturation <15%, or Hb increase >1 g/dL after iron preparation. The questionnaire consisted of their feeding patterns, weaning time and kinds of food. Results : In the 120 infants and young children aged from 6 to 36 months, the parents of 82 cases was counseled about nutrition. Fifty six infants among 82 cases have started weaning and the main foods of weaning were rice and/or rice gruel. Nutritional problems in weaning were that some children over one year of age were using a bottle, and parents restricted weaning food at will because of allergic disease or chronic disease. Most parents were satisfied with the nutritional counseling given from a clinical dietitian and showed good compliance. Conclusion : Many infants and young children with IDA were provided with non iron-fortified foods and made an inadequate wean. Most parents were satisfied with the nutritional counseling and showed good compliance. The need of dietary counseling was required for prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anemia because of inadequate weaning.
The author thought about how to explain visual functions in an easy-to-understand way to customers visiting the optical shops and provide easy customer consultation, and attempted to evaluate the usability and value of the educational webtoon for patient consultation by applying it to the optical shops's visitors. Survey study was conducted targeting 152 customers who visited optical shops A in Incheon from January to December 2023. In this study, consultation was conducted using educational webtoons to help the general public understand concepts that are difficult to understand, such as binocular vision function, the concept of heterophoria, prism lenses, and binocular balance. The areas of 'understanding', 'interest', 'usability', 'necessity', and 'expression of expertise' felt by the visitors who received counseling were scored and evaluated, and differences according to counseling method were evaluated using an independent sample t-test. Statistical verification was performed. When the optometrist only explained verbally, the score distribution was relatively low: 1.96 points for understanding, 2.06 points for interest, 2.96 points for usability, 4.20 points for necessity, and 3.19 points for expertise. When the optometrist provided explanations along with the book, understanding was 4.14 points, interest was 3.28 points, usability was 3.60 points, necessity was 4.17 points, and expertise was 3.55 points. When the optometrist explained with a webtoon, understanding was 4.57 points, interest was 4.96 points, usability was 4.18 points, necessity was 4.65 points, and expertise was 3.15 points. When explanations were given only verbally, all items showed the lowest scores, whereas consultations using webtoons showed 4 points or more (excellent) in all items except the 'expression of expertise' item. It is evaluated that actively using webtoons in various consultation situations that occur in optical shops will help increase customer interest and concentration.
This study was conducted to contribute to career counseling and career guidance for universities students majoring in social welfare by examining how the career decision level and the career preparation behavior of the students are and the relationship between social work self-efficacy and the career decision level and the career preparation behavior of the respondents. For this study, the social work self-efficacy, the levels of career decision making and career preparation-related behavior of 502 students of social welfare in five universities were measured. The frequency analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis were used for collected data analysis. The research findings are as follows. Firstly, the levels of career decision making and career preparation-related behavior were slightly lower than mid-point on 5 point scale respectively. Secondly, social work self-efficacy was not correlated to their career decision levels while social work self-efficacy positively affected to the career-related behavioral levels. In particular, the client support self-efficacy of the three sub-factors in social work efficacy had a negative influence on the levels of career preparation behavior. Consequently, social work self-efficacy of the participants intensively was correlated with their career preparation-related behavioral levels.
As job market squeezes and more institutions have been requiring NCS(National Competency Standards) based recruitment, the importance of NCS has been growing. Among the 10 domains of NCS, the most relevant one with task processing and organizational performance filed is 'task processing capability group', which is becoming more important with the advent of the fourth industrial revolution era. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of college students' task processing capability group on their career outcome expectation and career preparation behavior. In this study, we set up a process model to comprehend the effect of college students' task processing capability group on career outcome expectation and career preparation behavior based on social cognitive career theory. Empirical analysis showed that task processing capability group(problem-solving capability, information capability, resource management capability, organizational capability) positively influenced college students' career outcome expectation and career preparation behavior for employment. However, the impact of technical capability on career outcome expectation and career preparation behavior was not explained. In order to strengthen the task processing capability group of college students, not only university-level efforts, but also college and faculty's efforts should be accompanied. Other academic and practical implications are discussed.
This study examined the mediating role of collective self-esteem in the relationship between personal self-esteem and career aspiration, and the mediating effects of personal self-esteem and collective self-esteem on the link between social support and career aspiration. Also, This study explored whether the development of career aspiration differs by gender. A total of 316 undergraduate students(155 male and 161 female) completed measures of social support, personal self-esteem, collective self-esteem and career aspiration. Structural equation modeling results provided support for the mediating effects of personal self-esteem and collective self-esteem, In addition, the relationship model differed by gender. The results showed that the full mediation model fit of collective self-esteem in the relationship between individual self-esteem and career aspiration was better than the partial mediation model fit. Next, in the relation of social support and career aspiration, the partial mediating effect of individual self-esteem and collective self esteem was significant. Lastly, when the model of social support, individual self-esteem, and collective self-esteem, and career aspiration was tested to examine gender differences, the relations among these variables were found to be different according to gender-difference. These results suggest that evaluations and perceptions on the individual's social group as well as the individual influedced to career aspiration, interacting with the environmental factors. Also, the gender-difference of relationship model indicates that it might be different from men and women in psychological mechanism in the career aspiration formation.

The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze differences of perceived career barriers based on demographic characteristics of cyber university students. The results of this study will provide a valuable basis for guiding adult learners in their career development. Subjects included 937 adult learners at cyber universities in Seoul, Korea, aged 20 and above. Results were as follows: The level of career barriers perceived by females aged 20-29 who were unemployed and single were higher than that of males aged 30 to 59 who were employed and married. Female students were higher in 'anxiety of future', 'lack of interest', 'lack of job information', 'interpersonal difficulty'. The only component in which subjects aged 50-59 perceived higher than other age groups was 'conflict with important people'. There was no significant differences by grade. These results imply that the perception of the career barriers of adult learners should be considered in customizing career development programs and career counselling.

In recent years, artificial intelligence using big data has become a big issue in IT. Various studies are being conducted on services or technologies to effectively handle big data. The educational field, there is big data about students, but it is only a simple process to collect, lookup and store such data. In the future, it makes extensive use of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and statistical analysis to find meaningful rules, patterns, and relationships in the big data of the educational field, and to produce intelligent and useful data for the actual students. Accordingly, this study aims to design a program to predict the career of students using a decision tree algorithm based on the data from the student's classroom observations. Through a career prediction program, it is believed to be helpful to present application paths to students ' counseling and to also provide classroom behavior and direction based on the desired courses.
The aim of this qualitative study was to explore and understand the roles, efforts, difficulties and challenges parents have in the process of raising teenage children and supporting their career development in the underprivileged families. The research was conducted through focus group interviews with low-income parents, with support from 11 local community welfare centers nationwide, and then thematic analysis was done with collected data. And we could draw on findings on the difficulties those parents are dealing with while assisting career plans of their children, the endeavors they make when doing so, the helpful support from the society, and things to be done in the future. With the results, we provide final recommendations on family-centered action plans and the roles of community welfare center that can effectively assist career development of teenage kids in the process of child upbringing of the underprivileged families.
The purpose of this study was to figure out the influence of social capital in out-of-school youths upon career behavior and to examine the mediating effect of resilience in its relationship. To achieve the research objective, the questionnaire survey was conducted targeting 127 out-of-school youths who dwell in Busan Metropolitan City. In the relationship between social capital and career preparation behavior, the resilience appeared to have a mediating effect. Seeing the outcomes of this study, a positive support seems to be necessary so that out-of-school youths can make good use of the social capital in local community in order to increase the career preparation behavior in out-of-school youths. Furthermore, the psychological and emotional programs must be developed that can enhance resilience in out-of-school youths. A career counseling with the focus on resilience will need to be carried out.

Korean society believes that graduating from university is essential but even though choosing a career is important because of this social phenomenon, teenagers or the younger generation lack many aspects to choose or take responsibility of their career. Therefore, they are affected by others and this study explores how university students' career identity affects their self-career control and major satisfaction. The subjects of this research were 300 students of M college ranging from freshmen to juniors. The research period was 2015.09.30~10.07. Among the study results, the results of career identity affecting self-career control are career environment setting 18%, career commitment will 27%, planning and examining 18%, career feedback 12%, positive thinking 22% and study shows that career commitment will has a large impact on career identity. Second, the results of how career identity affects major satisfaction revealed that recognition satisfaction, relation satisfaction, and normal satisfaction have a large influence on career decision. This analysis result concludes that a college student's career identity lowers the conflict of choosing a major or job and with a higher satisfaction of their major, can obtain self-confidence of choosing a job, searching for a job, and setting a life goal. Therefore, in order to raise career identity, colleges need to research and develop career guidance programs and career counseling.
