The Effect of Sonographers' Professional Self-Concept on Job Satisfaction (임상초음파사의 전문직 자아개념이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a method to improve the job satisfaction of sonograpers by analyzing the factors affecting professional self-concept and job satisfaction. For data collection, total 141 sonographers working in Busan took part in the structured questionnaire survey. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS. For verification of the professional self-concept and job satisfaction, independent t-test and one way ANOVA were executed. When the statistical significance was verified, Sheffe was used for post hoc test. As a result, professional self-concept and job satisfaction were higher when got married, and also when a proper salary was paid according to work experience and professional qualification was acquired. In addition, the factors that have the greatest effect on the job satisfaction were analyzed as professional self concept. In conclusion, in order to improve the job satisfaction of sonographers, it is necessary not only to establish a professional qualification system for the job skill development but also to provide an appropriate compensation system according to work experience.

Relationship among Organization-Public Relationships, External Reputation and Job Satisfaction of Workers in Small and Medium-sized IT Enterprises (IT 관련 중소기업 종사자들의 조직-공중관계성과 외부평판 및 직무만족의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among organization-public relationships, external reputation and job satisfaction of workers in small and medium-sized IT enterprises. The subjects were 221 workers in small and medium-sized IT enterprises selected. The data were analyzed by the exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, reliability analysis and structural equation modeling analysis using IBM SPSS 21 program and IBM AMOS 21 program. The results were as follow. First, Organization-public relationships influenced positively on external reputation. Second, Organization-public relationships influenced not significantly on job satisfaction of workers in small and medium-sized IT enterprises. Third, External reputation influenced positively on job satisfaction of workers in small and medium-sized IT enterprises. These results will contribute to provide implications related to organization effectiveness.

The Relations of Stress, Job Satisfaction, Organizational Commitment and Turnover Intention in Medical Technicians (의료기술직의 스트레스, 직무만족, 조직몰입 및 이직의도 간의 관계)

  • The aim of this study was to analyze relations of stress, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention in medical technicians. The subjects were 468 medical technicians in 10 general hospitals. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire from July 1, 2015 to August 30, 2015 and analyzed with descriptive statistics, ANOVA, t-test, Pearson's correlation, Hierarchical multiple regression analysis. The mean score of stress level was $2.62{\pm}0.69$, satisfaction level $2.92{\pm}0.62$, organizational commitment $3.37{\pm}0.63$, and turnover intention $2.97{\pm}0.68$. We found the positive correlations of turnover intention with stress. There were negative correlations among job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention. These results showed that medical technicians were needed to minimize stress in order to maintain job satisfaction, organizational commitment and decrease turnover intention.

The Effect of Social Support and Mindfulness of Preschool Teachers on Job Exhaustion (유아 교사의 사회적 지지 및 마음 챙김이 직무 소진에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examined the effects of preschool teachers' social support and mindfulness on job exhaustion. The study subjects were 138 preschool teachers in OO city. As an analysis method, frequency analysis, reliability analysis, and correlation analysis were performed using the SPSS 22.0 program, and multiple regression analysis was performed on the causal relationship between the variables. An examination of the effect of social support on preschool teachers on job exhaustion found that the material support factor, a sub-factor of social support, had a negative effect (-) on job exhaustion. Second, the sub-factors of mindfulness, decentered attention, and present awareness had a significant negative effect on job exhaustion. A higher the current awareness, the decentered attention of mindfulness, and the material support factor of social support perceived by preschool teachers indicated lower job exhaustion. These results provide the basic data for the preparation of measures for reducing job exhaustion of preschool teachers.

A Meta-Analysis on the Variables Related with Job Satisfaction of Social Workers (사회복지사의 직무만족 영향 요인에 관한 메타분석)

  • This study conducted a meta-analysis on the studies related with job satisfaction of social workers. For data analysis, journals, theses, and dissertations published between 1990 and 2013 were reviewed systematically. Through this process, this study calculated average effect size of each variable and explored moderator variables. The study results were as follows. First, this study significantly identified 27 variables related with job satisfaction of social workers. Second, the results indicated that large effect size variables included empowerment, organizational climates, supervision, relationship with boss, leadership, social support, work environment, reward system factor, self-esteem, work autonomy. Third, moderator analyses were conducted utilizing characteristics of organization. Moderate effects were identified in the following variables including role conflict, specialization, recognition, promotion, relationship with peer, supervision. Finally, the implications of the study findings were discussed.

  • This study investigates the effects on job satisfaction and job stress according to teacher efficacy and coping in child care center teachers. The subjects of study were exactly 237 child care teachers and child care center located in Ulsan City ${\bigcirc}$ gun. from September 7 to October 20, 2014 data were collected through a questionnaire. The statistical analysis was performed in order to analyze t-test, one-way analysis of variance, correlation analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation using SPSS WIN 21.0 and Amos 21.0 program. In addition, the empirical analysis was verified at the 5% significance level.First, teacher efficacy can be seen high when job satisfaction is remarkably high as a result of the analysis econd, know that job satisfaction is mostly lower when a job stress is higher Implications of this study are thought to improve the working environment and to be going to be the base line data for welfare improvement of the child care teacher.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of educational satisfaction on project effectiveness, and the mediating effect of participation satisfaction between educational satisfaction and project effectiveness of employment promotion project for the elderly. The data were Research of the aged joining employment promotion project for the elderly made by Korea Labor Force Development Institute for the Aged in 2010 and the total subject was 1220. Descriptive analysis, correlations analysis, and the multiple regression analysis for research model test were used. Additionally, Sobel test was used to verify the significant mediating effect. Results were obtained in this study as the educational satisfaction have significant effects on participation satisfaction. And the mediating effect of educational satisfaction on project effectiveness is statistically significant. Based on the findings, in order to increase project effectiveness, we need to realize the importance of education for the aged joining employment promotion project for the elderly, and consider the participation satisfaction.

  • This study analyzed how job stress of counselors at Multicultural Family Support Center effects on their psychological exhaustion. The purpose of this research is on suggesting efficient human resource administration plan by mitigating job stress using the result of analysis. In the result of analysis, MFSC counselors' job stress had an effect on emotional exhaustion, impersonalization, and a factor of decline in sense of self-perfection. Applying this result, this research proposed a necessity of realistic plan preparation to prevent job stress and psychological exhaustion of MFSC counselors.

  • This paper is to investigate the correlation between leadership and organizational culture, and is to find out the influence of leadership and organizational culture on employee's job attitude in hotel industry based on the survey data from 274 hotel employees working in 13 deluxe hotels in Seoul. As a result of empirical analysis, all leadership attributes(charisma/inspiration, service/consideration, reward) were correlated with organization culture factors(group oriented, stratified oriented, innovative oriented, rational oriented). And reward, service/inspiration were significantly influenced on employee's job attitude. As a whole reward based on compensation was more important attribute than other leadership attributes on organizational culture factors, employee's job attitude. And group oriented, stratified oriented culture were positively influenced on employee's job attitude.

  • 이 연구에서는 심리적 탈진이 직무만족 및 이직의도에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 회귀분석에서는 심리적 탈진과 직무만족 및 의직의도 사이에 유의미한 관계가 나타났으며, 상관관계 분석에서는 심리적 탈진과 직무만족은 부적인 상관관계가 나타났고, 심리적 탈진과 이직의도는 정적인 상관관계가 나타났다.
