Structural Relationship Analysis between Emotional labor, Job stress, Perceived organizational support and Job satisfaction for the Health Promotion Program Personnel (통합건강증진사업 전문인력의 감정노동, 직무스트레스, 조직지원인식과 직무만족도의 구조적 관계 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the structural relationship between emotional labor, job stress, perceived organizational support and job satisfaction for the health promotion program personnel. The subjects were 126 in charge of the health promotion program. Data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 23.0 for the independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and structural equation modeling. There were significant differences in emotional labor by age and marital status (p<.05), job stress by religion (p<.01) and job satisfaction by career, religion and marital status (p<.01). The indirect effect of emotional labor on job satisfaction was -0.315, and no direct effect was found. The indirect effect of job stress on job satisfaction was -0.288, and the direct effect was -0.228. The direct effect of perceived organizational support on job satisfaction was -0.507. These results can be used as baseline data to develop alternatives and intervention programs to enhance job satisfaction.

  • This study investigates the impact of transactional leadership on job performance(team performance) and job satisfaction, with a focus on the mediating effect of job engagement. This study highlights the significance of contingent rewards and management by exception, components of transactional leadership, in motivating organizational members towards achievement and maintaining high performance levels. Through analysis, this research aims to demonstrate how transactional leadership affects employees' job engagement, subsequently influencing job performance and satisfaction. By understanding the role of job engagement as a mediator, organizations can adjust leadership styles and enhance job engagement, ultimately improving organizational performance and employee satisfaction. The findings suggest a composite approach to leadership, integrating both transactional and transformational elements, is more effective in fostering high job performance and satisfaction among employees. This study provides insights into developing strategies to boost job engagement and optimize leadership practices for better organizational outcomes.

Antecedents and Consequence of Job Engagement: Focused on Food & Beverage Departments at Super Deluxe Hotels in Seoul (직무열의의 선행요인 및 결과변수에 관한 연구: 서울소재 특 1급 호텔 식음료 부서를 중심으로)

  • This study aims to understand the relationships between antecedents (recognition, empowerment, fair rewards, procedural justice(PJ), perceived organizational support(POS) and consequence(turnover intention(TI) of job engagement in a super deluxe hotel's F&B departments. Based on a total of 402 useful samples obtained for the empirical research, this study reviewed reliability and fitness of the research model and verified total 6 hypotheses with through the use of the AMOS statistical program. The hypothesized relationships in the model were tested simultaneously by using a structural equation model(SEM). The proposed model provided an adequate fit to the data, ${\chi}^2=668.894$(p<.001), df=373, CMIN/DF=1.794, GFI=.901, AGFI=.877, NFI=.928, CFI=.967, RMSEA=.044. The model's fit, as indicated by these indexes, was deemed satisfactory, and thus provided a good basis for testing the hypothesized paths. The results show that recognition, empowerment, fair rewards, PJ, and POS had a positive significant influence on job engagement. In addition, job engagement had a negative significant influence on TI. Through this it was confirmed that an optimized organization(working) environment reduced employees' turnover intention by increasing their job engagement level. Therefore, it is suggested that F&B departments at super deluxe hotels design various internal marketing programs from the perspective of efficient human resource management. Implications and limitations, as well as future research directions are also discussed.

The Influence of Deluxe Hotel Culinary Staff's Psychological Contract Breach on Job Satisfaction and Turnover Intention: Focus on the Moderating Effects of Staff Careers (특 1급 호텔 조리종사원이 인지하는 심리적 계약위반이 직무만족도 및 이직의도에 미치는 영향: 경력의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to better understand the influence of psychological contract breach in deluxe hotel culinary staff memeberss on job satisfaction and turnover intention. Based on a total of 280 samples obtained for empirical research, this study reviewed the reliability and fitness of the research model and verified a total of 4 hypotheses using the AMOS program. The hypothesized relationships in the model were simultaneously tested by using a structural equation model(SEM). The proposed model provided an adequate fit to the data, ${\chi}^2=334.152$ (p<.001), df=162, CMIN/DF=2.063, GFI=.893, AGFI=.861, NFI=.919, CFI=.956, RMSEA=.062. The model's fit, as indicated by these indexes, was deemed satisfactory, thus providing a good basis for testing the hypothesized paths. The SEM showed that relational contract breach (${\beta}=-.236$) had a negative significant influence on job satisfaction. In addition, job satisfaction (${\beta}=-.236$) had a negative significant influence on turnover intention. The moderating effects on career the formulated model was verified. Limitations and future research directions are also discussed.

A Study on the Effects of Mindset on the Cabin Crew's Stress and Job Performance (마인드셋이 객실승무원의 스트레스, 직무성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of the mindset on stress and job performance. For the analysis, a questionnaire is conducted for cabin crew members in K airlines, and a total of 266 copies are used for the final analysis. To verify the hypotheses of the study, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, measurement model analysis, validation of the measuremen model, and structural equation model analysis are used based on the questionnaire. First, it is confirmed that the mindset had a negative (-) effect on the cabin crew's role stress, reward stress and relationship stress. Second, it is found that cabin crew's reward stress have a negative (-) effect on job performance. On the other hand, relationship stress is found to have a positive influence on job performance and there is no significant result in effect with role stress. Third, the mindset showes a significant positive impact relationship on job performance. As a result, it is necessary to introduce a mindset intervention program so that it can be applied in practical work. These research results confirm the positive effects of mindsets and show that they contribute to organizational performance. In addition, it is necessary to prepare a program to change the mindset of airline cabin crew and to be applied in actual work.

  • 본 연구는 D시와 G시에 소재한 어린이집 13기관에 재원 중인 영아 238명과 해당 영아의 어머니와 아버지 각 238명, 담임교사 45명(총 45학급)을 대상으로 영아의 기질과 어린이집 적응 변인이 교사의 직무만족과 교사-영아 관계에 어떠한 직 간접적인 영향력을 갖는지를 알아보고자 구조방정식 모형을 통해 분석하였다. 본 연구결과, 영아의 기질이 교사의 직무만족에 의해 매개되어 교사-영아관계에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 영아의 어린이집 적응 또한 직무만족에 의해 매개되어 교사-영아관계에 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 교사의 직무만족은 교사-영아관계에 영향을 미치는 영아의 기질과 어린이집 적응, 두 잠재 변인 간의 매개 변인이다. 특히 영아의 기질은 교사의 직무만족과 교사-영아관계에 미치는 영향력이 영아의 어린이집 적응보다 크게 나타났으며, 영아-교사관계에는 기질이나 적응이 미치는 직접효과가 직무만족을 매개로한 간접효과보다 크게 작용하고 있었다. 이러한 결과는 영아와 교사관계에 있어서 영아의 기질변인이 중요함을 드러내준다. 그러므로 본 연구는 다양한 변인간의 관계를 규명함으로서 영아 연구 범위의 폭을 확장하였다는 의의가 있다.

The Influence of a General Hospital Nurse's Emotional Labor, Emotional Intelligence on Job Stress (일 종합병원 간호사의 감정노동과 감성지능이 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향)

  • 본 연구에서는 종합병원에 근무하는 간호사를 대상으로 감정노동과 감성지능이 직무스트레스에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 한다. 본 연구에서 간호사들의 감정노동과 감성지능 변인들의 직무스트레스에 대한 분산 설명력은 31.9%였고, 회귀모형은 유의미한 것으로 나타났다(F=7.615, p<.001). 분석결과, 감정노동 변인 중 감정표현의 빈도는 직무스트레스에 유의미한 부(-)적 영향(${\beta}=.206$ p<.05)을, 감정표현 규범의 주의성은 유의미한 정(+)적 영향(${\beta}=.318$, p<.01)을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 감성지능변인 중 자기감정이해(${\beta}=.195$, p<.05)와 감정조절(${\beta}$=-.192, p<.05) 변인이 직무스트레스에 유의미한 부(-)적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이들 변인들의 상대적 영향력은 표준화계수(${\beta}$)를 통해 알 수 있듯이, 감정표현 규범의 주의성, 감정표현의 빈도, 자기감정이해, 감성조절 등의 변인 순으로 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향력이 큰 것으로 분석되었다. 이와 같은 결과를 통해, 간호사들이 직무스트레스를 낮추기 위해서는 환자들과 긍정적인 감정표현을 많이 하고, 간호사들이 병원의 감정표현 규범으로 인해 표현하지 못한 감정을 해소할 수 있는 방안이 필요하며, 자신의 감정에 대한 이해와 감성조절 능력을 기르도록 스스로 노력이 필요함을 알 수 있었다.

  • When library performance is regarded as service quality, competency in human resources should be considered as an influential factor. This study aims to identify relationships between job satisfaction of librarians and the service quality that users recognize in public libraries. Librarians and users in 10 public libraries in Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi province were sampled to measure job satisfaction and service quality with $LibQUAL+^{TM}$ model. As a result, the higher the satisfaction of the duty itself and organizational factor show a high service quality. Consequently, to improve library customer satisfaction, the librarian's job satisfaction should be considered. Additionally, some practical implications are discussed.

Effects of Professional Identity of Social Workers on Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment : Focused on Mediated Effect of Working Environment (사회복지사의 전문직 정체성이 직무만족과 조직몰입에 미치는 영향-직무환경의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • This study found out a process of effects of professional identity recognized by social workers on their job satisfaction and organizational commitment, and verified a mediated effect caused by working environment through the process. A survey for data collection was conducted among 205 employees of social welfare facilities located in Gyeonggi Province. Collected data was analyzed by using structural equation modeling. The data analysis showed that first, professional identity has an extremely meaningful positive effect on job satisfaction. Second, professional identity has a meaningful positive effect on organizational commitment. Third, working environment has a partial mediated effect on relationships between professional identity and job satisfaction, between professional identity and organizational commitment. These results proved that the enhancement of job satisfaction and organizational commitment of social workers is based on enhancing professional identity, and organizational commitment can be enhanced by the working environment. Based on the results, this study discussed practical plans for enhancing job satisfaction and organizational commitment of social workers.

The Moderating Effect of Team Relationship Oriented Climate on the Relationship between Job Demand and Job Stress (직무요구와 직무스트레스 관계에 대한 팀의 관계중시풍토의 조절효과)

  • The Demand-Control model has been one of the most popular theoretical models to explain job stress. This study extends the Demand-Control model to the team level and examines the relationship between job demand and job stress to tests the moderating effect of the `team relationship climate' on the relationship between job demand and job stress. Data were collected from 34 teams across 19 organizations and analyzed using HLM. The results showed that job demand was significantly related to job stress. Based on the team level analysis, the team relationship climate was found to moderate the relationship between job demand and job stress. In addition, the consideration behavior by the leader was significantly correlated with the team relationship climate. Finally the theoretical and practical implications and limitations of this study were discussed.
